Description
調製された水溶液であることが望ましい。混合法により遊離次亜塩素酸を含む水
溶液を所望の有効塩素濃度で調製できるから、病害の種類や進行度等を勘案して適切な有
効塩素濃度の水溶液を調製し、土壌の除菌に用いることができる。
植栽の3週間前を目安として、遊離次亜塩素酸を含む水溶液を散布し、土壌を除菌する。当該水溶液の有効塩素濃度及び散布量は特に限定されないが、土壌の除菌と次亜塩素酸の消失とを確実に行うため、有効塩素濃度が50ppm以上100ppm以下であり、散布量が10a当り500L以上1000L以下であることが好ましい。有効塩素濃度及び散布量は、土壌のpH及びEC値(電気伝導度),植栽される植物の性質,散布装置の耐食性等を勘案して、上記範囲内で決定される。遊離次亜塩素酸を含む水溶液を、トラクターで耕起した直後に散布すると、効率的な除菌が可能である。当該水溶液は、所望の有効塩素濃度とするために混合法で調製すると良く、株式会社テクノマックス社製の生成装置が好適に用いられる。
散布工程の後、所定期間、土壌を放置する。この間にも、遊離次亜塩素酸による除菌が進行し、余剰の次亜塩素酸は分解して消失する。有効塩素濃度及び散布量が上記範囲内にある場合、土壌を放置する期間は、約1乃至7日間が適切であり、通常1日で充分である。
静置工程の後、前記土壌に、土壌微生物を含む肥料、好ましくは完熟堆肥を施す。施肥量は特に限定されないが、完熟堆肥の場合、肥料袋に記載された指定数量を目安にして施肥量を決定する。土壌微生物の速やかな増殖のため、施肥後トラクター等で混合切り返しを行うことが好ましく、更にその後散水することがより好ましい。
施肥工程の後、1週間以上放置する。上記除菌工程及び静置工程で除菌が進行し、土壌に含まれていた真菌及び細菌(有用な微生物を含む)は、その一部が死んで菌数が減少し、生き残ったものも増殖する能力に乏しい状態となっている。そのため、施肥工程で用いた肥料に含まれる有用な土壌微生物が増殖して優勢となり、病害菌の増殖は更に抑制される。その結果、土壌は植物の栽培に適した状態となる。
Claims (3)
- 遊離次亜塩素酸を含む水溶液を散布して土壌を除菌した後、当該土壌に、土壌微生物を含む肥料を施す土壌改良方法であって、
遊離次亜塩素酸を含む水溶液の有効塩素濃度が50ppm以上100ppm以下であり、当該水溶液の散布量が土壌10a当り500L以上1000L以下であって、当該水溶液の散布後1乃至7日間土壌を放置した後に前記肥料を施すことを特徴とする土壌改良方法。 - 遊離次亜塩素酸を含む水溶液が、次亜塩素酸塩の水溶液に酸を添加して所望の有効塩素濃度に調製されてなるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の土壌改良方法。
- 肥料が、鶏糞,牛糞,豚糞,又はそれらから選ばれる2種以上を混合した家畜糞に、1ヶ月以上の期間に亘って、焼酎粕を毎日1回以上散布して得られた発酵肥料であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の土壌改良方法。
