《CT撮像装置のまとめ》
図2及び図3は、撮像装置1の一例を示す。
《処理手段によって具現化される一般的アルゴリズム》
かかるCT撮像装置によって医師が心画像を取得する場合を考察する。
《医師による食塩水の利用の決定》
一旦、造影剤強調された構成部分が単離されたら、医師が食塩水を用いたか否かを処理手段が自動的に決定することを可能にするように、これらの構成部分に対する試験が実行される(ステップII)。
《右腔の抽出及び左腔への加算》
一方、食塩水が検出されたときには、処理手段は、画像の造影剤強調された構成部分として表示されていない右腔を抽出するために、以下に述べる処理動作を具現化する(図2のステップIV)。
・右腔を抽出することを可能にし、
・右冠動脈を抽出することを可能にし、
・心臓の下方に位置する肝臓を過剰に抽出することを防ぐ。

Claims (7)
- 計算機式断層写真法(CT)放射線撮像装置の作動方法であって、
画像処理動作のためのコンピュータプログラムを含むコンピュータが、
器官の画像を受信する段階と、
画像の濃淡値レベルを所与の閾値と比較して、前記画像の造影剤強調された構成部分を抽出する段階と、
造影剤強調された構成部分の総容積を決定する段階と、
造影剤強調された構成部分の外端に位置する第1の端点(A)と第2の端点(B)に対応する端点をもつ対角線を有する正中断面の立方体として包囲容積を推定する段階と、
前記包囲容積の総容積を決定する段階と、
前記造影剤強調された構成部分の総容積と前記包囲容積の総容積との比が第1の閾値(Sratio)よりも小さく、かつ前記造影剤強調された構成部分の総容積が第2の閾値(SVolume)よりも小さい場合に、前記画像から造影剤強調されていない構成部分を抽出する段階と、
前記造影剤強調された構成部分と造影剤強調されていない構成部分とを含む再構成画像を形成する段階と
を含む方法。 - 前記器官が心臓であり、前記画像の造影剤強調された構成部分が心臓の右腔である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の閾値(Sratio)が30%である、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の閾値(SVolume)が600cm3である、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- マスクを計算する段階と、
前記画像処理動作に不要な器官を除去するための前記マスクで膨張処理動作を実施する段階と
をさらに含む、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記マスクは、前記画像から肺及び脊柱の骨要素に対応するピクセル又はボクセルを除去するためのものである、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 初期の造影剤強調された構成部分の容積が前記膨張処理された画像から減算される、請求項5又は請求項6に記載の方法。
