Description
1.基板と、
前記基板上に取り付けられ、透明なキャップ部材(15,55)の中に封入された複数のLED(11-13,51-53)であって、各LED(11-13,51-53)が、他のLED(11-13,51-53)とは異なるスペクトルの光を放射し、各LED(11-13,51-53)が、そのLED(11-13,51-53)に接続された駆動信号によって決定される平均強度の光を生成するように構成された複数のLED(11-13,51-53)と、
各信号が、前記LED(11-13,51-53)のうちの対応する1つによって放射される光の強度に比例するセンサ値によって特徴付けられる複数の信号を生成するセンサ(15,55)であって、前記透明なキャップ部材(16,56)の中に封入された少なくとも1つのフォトディテクタからなるセンサ(15,55)と、
前記駆動信号を生成し、各LED(11-13,51-53)の電流目標値を記憶するコントローラ(14,54)であって、前記LED(11-53,51-53)のそれぞれの前記駆動信号を、そのLEDの前記センサ値が、記憶されたそのLEDの前記電流目標値に一致するように生成する、コントローラ(14,54)と
からなる光源(10,50)。
2.前記コントローラ(14,54)は、前記コントローラ(14,54)に結合された外部制御信号に応答して、前記センサ値の現在値を前記電流目標値として記憶する、1に記載の光源(10,50)。
3.前記センサ(15,55)は前記基板上に取り付けられる、1に記載の光源(10,50)。
4.前記センサ(15,55)は、前記LED(11-13,51-53)のうちの1つの側壁から出力される光を測定する、1に記載の光源(10,50)。
5.前記センサ(15,55)は、前記透明なキャップ部材(16,56)の境界から反射された光を測定する、1に記載の光源(10,50)。
6.前記透明なキャップ部材(16,56)はレンズを含む、1に記載の光源(10,50)。
7.前記コントローラ(14,54)は目標値の複数のセットを記憶し、前記コントローラ(14,54)は、該コントローラ(14,54)に接続された外部信号に応答して、前記も区報値のセットのうちの1つを前記電流目標値として選択する、1に記載の光源(10,50)。
8.光源(10,50)を製造する方法であって、
各LED(11-13,51-53)が、他のLED(11-13,51-53)とは異なるスペクトルの光を放射し、各LED(11-13,51-53)が、そのLED(11-13,51-53)に接続された駆動信号によって決定される平均強度の光を生成するように構成された複数のLED(11-13,51-53)を基板に取り付けるステップと、
各信号が、前記LED(11-13,51-53)のうちの対応する1つによって放射される光の強度に比例するセンサ値によって特徴付けられる複数の信号を生成するセンサ(15,55)を設けるステップと、
前記LED及び前記センサ(15,55)を透明なキャップ部材(15,55)の中に封入するステップと、
コントローラを前記基板に取り付けるステップであって、前記コントローラは、前記LED(11-13,51-53)及び前記センサ(15,55)に接続され、前記駆動信号を生成し、各LED(11-13,51-53)の電流目標値を記憶するように構成され、前記コントローラは、前記LED(11-13,51-53)のそれぞれの前記駆動信号を、そのLEDの前記センサ値が、記憶されたそのLEDの前記電流目標値に一致するように生成するように構成される、コントローラを前記基板に取り付けるステップと、
前記LED(11-13,51-53)に所定のカラーポイントに対応する光を生成させるステップと、
前記LED(11-13,51-53)が前記所定のカラーポイントの光を生成するときに、前記コントローラ(14,54)に前記センサ値を前記目標値として記憶させるステップと
からなる方法。
9.前記LED(11-13,51-53)に所定のカラーポイントに対応する光を生成させるステップは、較正された光検出器において前記光源(10,50)からの光を測定し、前記LED(11-13,51-53)によって生成される前記光が所定の精度内で前記所定のカラーポイントに一致することを前記較正された光検出器が示すまで、前記駆動信号を変化させることによって行われる、8に記載の方法。
10.前記較正された光検出器は、前記測定の間に全ての前記LED(11-13,51-53)からの光を受け取るように構成される、請求項9に記載の方法。
Claims (1)
- 基板と、
前記基板上に取り付けられ、透明なキャップ部材の中に封入された複数のLEDと、
前記透明なキャップ部材の中に封入された少なくとも一つのフォトディテクタからなるセンサと、
前記複数のLEDの駆動信号を生成し、該複数のLEDにおけるそれぞれのLEDの電流目標値を記憶するコントローラと、
を有し、
前記複数のLEDは、それぞれのLEDが他のLEDとは異なるスペクトルの光を放射し、それぞれのLEDに与えられた前記駆動信号によって決定される平均強度の光を生成し、
前記センサは、センサ値によって特徴付けられ前記複数のLEDのうち対応する一つの光放射強度に比例し他のLEDによる光放射強度に依存しない信号を生成し、
前記コントローラは、キャリブレーション時において前記電流目標値を不揮発性メモリに記憶し、通常動作時において前記不揮発性メモリに記憶されたそれぞれのLEDの前記電流目標値と一致するように前記複数のLEDに対する前記駆動信号を前記信号に基づいて生成すること
を特徴とする光源。
