Description
Claims (15)
- 基部に装着された発光ダイオードチップと、
前記基部に装着されたレンズと、
を有する光源であって、前記レンズは、前記発光ダイオードチップからの光を受光するように前記発光ダイオードチップの上に配置され、前記レンズは、それぞれが前記発光ダイオードチップからの光をフォーカスさせるような形状である相互接続された小型レンズのアレイを有し、前記発光ダイオードチップの結像面積は、前記小型レンズの出射部において、前記発光ダイオードチップの面積の1/9よりも小さく、それにより前記レンズの外面において前記発光ダイオードチップの略点光源の像を生成する光源。 - 前記レンズは略半球状であり、前記発光ダイオードチップを略囲む、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記レンズを形成する100個よりも多いレンズが存在する、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記レンズの直径は、前記発光ダイオードチップの幅の約10倍以下である、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記レンズは、前記レンズの外面において、前記発光ダイオードチップの像を略フォーカスする凸状の内側レンズのアレイを有する内側面を持つ、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記外面は凸状の外側レンズのアレイを有する、請求項5に記載の光源。
- 前記外面は光散乱面を有する、請求項5に記載の光源。
- 前記レンズは、凸状の内側レンズのアレイを有する内面を持つ、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記レンズは単一の部品として成型される、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記レンズは、内側レンズ層と外側レンズ層とを有し、前記内側レンズ層と前記外側レンズ層との間に空隙が存在し、前記内側レンズ層の一部と、前記外側レンズ層の対応する部分との組み合わせが小型レンズを形成する、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記レンズは10mm以下の直径を持ち、前記発光ダイオードチップを略囲む、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記発光ダイオードチップは、前記発光ダイオードチップの上に蛍光体の層を持つ、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記小型レンズは、前記発光ダイオードチップが通電されたときにスペックルが生成されるような形状とされる、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 前記レンズの下には単一の発光ダイオードチップのみが存在する、請求項1に記載の光源。
- 光源により実行される方法であって、前記光源は、発光ダイオードチップと、前記発光ダイオードチップの上において前記発光ダイオードチップを略囲むレンズとを有し、前記レンズは、相互接続された小型レンズのアレイを有し、前記方法は、
前記発光ダイオードチップにより略ランバート発光を生成するステップと、
各前記小型レンズにより前記発光ダイオードチップからの光を受光するステップと、
各前記小型レンズにより、前記小型レンズの出射部における前記発光ダイオードチップの結像面積が、前記発光ダイオードチップの面積の1/16よりも小さく低減されるように、前記発光ダイオードチップの像を略フォーカスさせ、前記レンズの外面において前記発光ダイオードチップの略点光源の像を生成するステップと、
を有し、前記レンズを形成する100個よりも多いレンズが存在し、各前記小型レンズが、特定の角度で前記レンズを観測したときに、観測者により知覚される複数のピークとして、前記光源のピーク明点を生成する方法。
