Description
Claims (21)
- 音響面と後面とを有する活性層であって、該活性層が少なくとも一つの超音波変換器要素を含み、該後面が該音響面に対して該活性層の反対側に在る、活性層、及び、
該後面と相互に連結されるバッキングであって、該バッキングが、多孔性を有するポリマーを含む複数の膜の各々と、複数の支持層とを含み、該複数の膜が該複数の支持層と交互に配置される、バッキング、を含み、
該複数の膜の各々が、該膜の一方の側から他方の側に延在する複数の貫通穴を含み、
該複数の膜の一つの少なくとも幾つかの貫通穴は、隣接する膜のいずれかの貫通穴と整列状態ではなく、
該複数の支持層が含む共通のポリマー支持材料で、該複数の膜の該複数の貫通穴の少なくとも一部分が充填されて、
該複数の支持層の曲げ弾性率が該複数の膜の曲げ弾性率よりも大きい、
超音波変換器システム。 - 前記少なくとも一つの超音波変換器要素の少なくとも一つが平面である、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記少なくとも一つの超音波変換器要素の少なくとも一つが曲線状である、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記バッキングが1MHzで少なくとも25dB/cmの音響減衰を提供する、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 該複数の支持層の曲げ弾性率が該複数の膜の曲げ弾性率の少なくとも2倍の大きさである、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記一つ膜の前記複数の貫通孔の過半数が、隣接する不織布膜の任意の貫通孔と整列状態ではない、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記一つの膜の前記複数の貫通孔の全てが、前記隣接する不織布膜の前記貫通孔と整列状態ではない、請求項6に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記ポリマーが、PTFE、ウレタン、ポリスチレン、フルオロポリマー、シリコーン及びポリオレフィンからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記ポリマーがPTFEである、請求項8に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記共通のポリマー支持材料が、エポキシ、THV、FEP、PTFE、PES、EFEP、PET、PEEK、PEI、PC及びLCPからなる群から選択される、請求項8に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記複数の膜の各々が1から200μm(ミクロン)の厚みであり、前記複数の支持層の各々が1から200μm(ミクロン)の厚みである、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記複数の膜の各々と前記複数の支持層とが、前記活性層に平行に配置される、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記複数の膜の各々と前記複数の支持層とが、前記活性層に対して所定の角度で配置される、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記複数の膜が各々、1から800μm(ミクロン)の厚みを有し、前記複数の支持層が、各々、1から500μm(ミクロン)の厚みを有する、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記ポリマーが、PTFE、ウレタン、ポリスチレン、フルオロポリマー、シリコーン及びポリオレフィンからなる群から選択される、請求項14に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記ポリマーがPTFEである、請求項15に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- 前記バッキングが1MHzで少なくとも25dB/cmの音響減衰を提供し、
前記複数の支持層の曲げ弾性率が前記複数の膜の曲げ弾性率の少なくとも2倍の大きさである、
請求項15に記載の超音波変換器システム。 - 前記複数の支持層が、熱硬化性樹脂、熱可塑性樹脂、フルオロポリマー及びエポキシからなる群から選択される材料を含む、請求項15に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- さらに、隣接する前記複数の膜の1つ及び複数の支持層の1つとの間に配置される複数の相互連結層を含み、該複数の相互連結層の各々が、
第一表面と第二表面とを有する接着剤キャリア、
該第一表面上に配置される第一接着剤層及び、
該第二表面上に配置される第二接着剤層を含む、
請求項14に記載の超音波変換器システム。 - 前記複数の相互連結層が、前記近接の膜と前記支持層とを互いに結び付ける働きをすることが可能である、請求項19に記載の超音波変換器システム。
- さらに、前記バッキングを通過する複数の連続的な経路を含み、前記複数の連続的な経路が導電性材料で少なくとも一部分を充填し、該複数の連続的な経路の各々が前記バッキングを通過する導電性経路を提供する働きをすることが可能である、請求項1に記載の超音波変換器システム。
