Claims (14)
- 機体と、翼(3)と、航空機エンジン(7)とロケット推進ユニット(16,17)とを具備した宇宙飛行機において、
前記翼は固定され、原則的にストレートであり、前記機体の横方向に延在し、前記機体の長さよりも大きいスパンを有し、
燃料タンク(14,15)が前記機体(1)の後部に配置され、前記翼(3)は前記機体の後部に配置され、前記機体の前部はキャビンを具備していることを特徴とする宇宙飛行機。 - 前記翼のスパンと前記機体の長さとは1〜2の比率であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の宇宙飛行機。
- 前記翼のスパンと前記機体の長さとは1〜1.4の比率であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の宇宙飛行機。
- 2.5〜3.3m2/tonから成る面荷重を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の宇宙飛行機。
- 空の質量が最大積載時の質量の40〜60%であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の宇宙飛行機。
- 前記宇宙飛行機は前記機体の前部に配置されたテールグループ(4)を具備していることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の宇宙飛行機。
- 一組のロケット推進ユニットを具備していることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の宇宙飛行機。
- 着陸ギア(6)を具備していることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の宇宙飛行機。
- 方向修正ノズル(19,20,21)を具備し、該ノズルは前記翼の端部に配置されたローリング制御ノズルと、機体の前部に配置されたピッチングおよびヨーイング制御ノズルを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の宇宙飛行機。
- 宇宙飛行機の操縦方法であって、固定され、原則的にストレートで、且つ前記宇宙飛行機の横方向に延在した翼を具備し、燃料タンクが機体の後部に配置され、前記翼は前記機体の後部に配置され、前記機体の前部はキャビンを具備した宇宙飛行機の操縦方法において、
マッハ0.5〜0.8の亜音速において、飛行中に給油することなく航空機エンジンを使用する第一の航空力学的飛行のステップと、
ロケット推進ユニットを使用する第二のステップであって、前記第一のステップと第二のステップとの間に前記宇宙飛行機の傾きの変化を制御した後、前記ロケット推進ユニットを使用する第二の宇宙発射飛行ステップと、
軌道に略直交した機体を伴った第三の滑空下降ステップと、
航空力学的飛行の着陸を行う第四のステップであって前記第三のステップと第四のステップとの間に前記軌道に概略直交する方向に前記宇宙飛行機を正常な位置に戻した後で航空力学的飛行の着陸を行う第四の航空力学的飛行による着陸のステップと、
を含んでいることを特徴とする宇宙飛行機の操縦方法。 - 前記ロケット推進ユニットによる推進力は、可変の推進力であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の宇宙飛行機の操縦方法。
- 前記4つのステップは航空力学的飛行と超音速飛行とにおいて実行されることを特徴とする請求項10または11に記載の宇宙飛行機の操縦方法。
- 前記航空力学的飛行は少なくとも高度12kmまで続けられることを特徴とする請求項10〜12のいずれか一項に記載の宇宙飛行機の操縦方法。
- 前記航空力学的飛行はマッハ0.5〜0.6の亜音速において実行されることを特徴とする請求項10〜13のいずれか一項に記載の宇宙飛行機の操縦方法。
