Description
以下、本発明にかかる車両用制御装置を、車載主機として内燃機関のみが搭載される車両に適用した第1の実施形態について、図面を参照しつつ説明する。

この関係によれば、回生制御処理が行われる状況下において、車両の走行状態に応じてキャリアCへの入力トルクが定まることで、サンギアS及びリングギアRの出力トルクが定まることとなる。なお、キャリアCの回転速度Nc、サンギアSの回転速度Ns及びリングギアRの回転速度Nrのそれぞれについては、下式(c3)で表される関係を満たすことが要求される。

また、駆動輪18から動力伝達機構30を介してフライホイール32に供給される車両の運動エネルギは、フライホイール32の回転速度とフライホイール32への入力トルク(サンギアSの出力トルクを増速歯車36の増速比で除算したトルク)との積に比例する。この比例関係と、車両の走行状態に応じてサンギアS、キャリアC及びリングギアRの印加トルクが定まることとによれば、フライホイール回転速度が高くなるほど、トルク調節装置34及びフライホイール32のうちフライホイール32側に供給される車両の運動エネルギが増大することとなる。このため、フライホイール回転速度を規定速度よりも高い状態に極力維持することで、回生制御処理が行われる場合にフライホイール32に回収可能な車両の運動エネルギが増大する。
以下、第2の実施形態について、先の第1の実施形態との相違点を中心に図面を参照しつつ説明する。
なお、上記各実施形態は、以下のように変更して実施してもよい。
Claims (10)
- 回転エネルギを蓄えるフライホイール、駆動輪、及び自身に作用するトルクを調節可能なトルク調節手段の間の動力伝達を可能とする動力伝達機構であって、前記フライホイール、前記駆動輪及び前記トルク調節手段のそれぞれに機械的に連結される第1の回転体、第2の回転体及び第3の回転体の回転速度を共線図上において1直線上に並ばせる動力伝達機構と、車載主機としての内燃機関とを備える車両に適用され、
前記内燃機関の動力生成指示がなされない状況下において、前記動力伝達機構を介して前記車両の運動エネルギを前記フライホイールに回転エネルギとして蓄える回生制御処理を行う回生処理手段と、
前記回生制御処理が行われる状況以外の状況において、前記フライホイールの回転速度が規定速度以下であると判断されることに基づき、前記フライホイールの回転速度が前記フライホイールに蓄えられた回転エネルギを車載機器に使用できる回転速度であっても、前記フライホイールに蓄えられた回転エネルギを前記車載機器に供給することに制約を課す処理を行うことで、前記フライホイールに蓄えられた回転エネルギの使用による前記フライホイールの回転速度の低下を抑制する制約手段とを備えることを特徴とする車両用制御装置。 - 前記第2の回転体は、前記内燃機関と連結され、
前記回生制御処理が行われる状況以外の状況において前記内燃機関に要求される動力が低いと判断されることに基づき、前記フライホイールの回転速度を前記規定速度よりも高い状態に維持すべく、前記要求される動力を増大させて且つ、前記内燃機関の生成動力を前記動力伝達機構を介して前記フライホイールに供給する回転速度維持手段を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用制御装置。 - 前記第2の回転体は、前記内燃機関と連結され、
前記車両には、前記動力伝達機構を介さずに前記内燃機関から動力供給を受けて発電する第1の発電機と、前記第1の回転体及び前記フライホイールの間に介在する第2の発電機とが更に備えられることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の車両用制御装置。 - 前記第1の発電機の発電用に前記内燃機関で生成されるエネルギに対する該第1の発電機の発電エネルギの割合である第1の発電効率と、前記第2の発電機の発電用に前記内燃機関で生成されるエネルギに対する該第2の発電機の発電エネルギの割合である第2の発電効率とを算出する発電効率算出手段と、
前記算出されたこれら発電効率のうち大きいものに対応する発電機の発電処理を行う発電処理手段とを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項3記載の車両用制御装置。 - 前記フライホイールの回転速度が前記規定速度よりも高いと判断されることに基づき、前記フライホイールの回転エネルギを用いて前記第2の発電機に発電させる処理を強制的に行う強制手段を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項3又は4記載の車両用制御装置。
- 前記第2の回転体は、前記内燃機関と連結され、
前記トルク調節手段には、発電機が含まれることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の車両用制御装置。 - 前記車両には、前記駆動輪及び前記第2の回転体の間の動力の伝達及び遮断を切り替える動力伝達遮断手段と、前記第2の回転体の回転を妨げるトルクを付与する制動手段とが更に備えられることを特徴とする請求項6記載の車両用制御装置。
- 前記車両には、前記フライホイール及び前記第1の回転体の間の動力の伝達及び遮断を切り替える動力伝達遮断手段と、前記第1の回転体の回転を妨げるトルクを付与する制動手段とが更に備えられることを特徴とする請求項6又は7記載の車両用制御装置。
- 前記フライホイールの回転速度が前記規定速度よりも高いと判断されることに基づき、前記フライホイールの回転エネルギを用いて前記発電機に発電させる処理を強制的に行う強制手段を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の車両用制御装置。
- 前記制約手段は、前記制約を課す処理として、前記フライホイールに蓄えられた回転エネルギの前記車載機器への供給を禁止する処理を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の車両用制御装置。
