Claims (14)
- 開口欠陥を有する金属加工物を該金属加工物の金属表面または基材中でまたは表面上で修理する方法であって、
開口欠陥を冷間鍛造して該欠陥を封鎖し、かつ
前記冷間鍛造した欠陥を金属表面または基材に適用した複数のレーザークラッドビーズでレーザークラッドして、前記冷間鍛造した欠陥をクラッド金属層でカバーする
ことを含む金属加工物の修理方法。 - 金属加工物がスチールまたはステンレススチール加工物で、金属加工物を動かさずに、その場で金属加工物を使用していた場所から取り除かずに、修理する請求項1記載の修理方法。
- 金属加工物が304Lステンレススチールの水を充填した容器またはそのような容器の一成分であり、容器の壁または容器の前記一成分中に応力腐食で誘導されたクラックである開口欠陥を有するものである請求項1または2記載の修理方法。
- 金属加工物が前記方法を実行する際に開口欠陥の後面に流体を保持または保有し、該流体が0.1バール(bar(g))以上の圧力を有する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の修理方法。

- 前記開口欠陥の冷間鍛造が開口欠陥のハンマー打ち形態であるか、ハンマー打ちを含む請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の修理方法。
- エアーハンマーをハンマー打ちに用いる請求項6記載の修理方法。
- レーザークラッドビーズが平衡に重ねられてクラッドされた金属層を形成する請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の修理方法。
- クラッドされた金属の化学組成が金属加工物の金属表面または金属基材のそれとは異なっている請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の修理方法。
- 欠陥が長く、クラッドビーズが長い欠陥の長軸または長い欠陥方向を横切るように適用される請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の修理方法。
- クラッドされた金属層が欠陥全体をカバーし、欠陥の端を越えて延びて、欠陥の全ての近傍部分上でクラッドされた金属層が欠陥とクラッドされていない基材との間に存在するゾーンがある請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の修理方法。
- クラッドされた金属層がレーザークラッド後にまだ開口欠陥を示す場合に、その第1のクラッドされた金属層であるクラッド金属層中の開口欠陥を冷間鍛造し、ついで第1のクラッド金属層の少なくとも一部上をレーザークラッドすることにより別のクラッド金属層を提供することを特徴とする請求項1〜11いずれかに記載の修理方法。
- レーザークラッドが溶融プールを形成し、該溶融プールの粘度を溶融プールの大きさを制限し、充分高い固化速度を確保することによって充分高くして流体を圧力下に含む請求項4または5記載の修理方法。
- レーザークラッドビーズが0.3〜3m/分の範囲の速度でかつ50〜70%のビーズオーバーレイで付着して、連続的なクラッド金属層の形成を確保する請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の修理方法。
