Description
該シリケートは組成物中の固形物の少なくとも70重量%を構成し、クレーおよびポリマーは、それぞれ組成物中の全固形分の少なくとも1重量%を各々構成する組成物に関する。
以下の配合の、全固形分10重量%のコーティングを、2KバーでPET基体上に塗布し、(50%RHおよび23℃で測定された)コーティングの酸素透過度(cc/m2・日)を測定した:エマルション/クレー、リチウムシリケート/エマルションおよびリチウムシリケート/クレー/エマルションは、互いに比較のために並べて示される。
結果は表1中に示される。
(1) Joncryl DFC 3040E、Joncryl 1665およびJoncryl SCX 1630は、ジョンソンポリマー社からのアクリルコポリマーエマルションである。
(2) Joncryl 617およびJoncryl 74はジョンソンポリマー社からのアクリルのポリマーエマルションである。
(3) Jonwax 120はジョンソンポリマー社からのポリエチレンパラフィンワックスエマルションである。Jonwax 35はジョンソンポリマー社からのポリエチレンワックスエマルションである。
(4) Joncryl U4188およびJoncryl U6333は、ジョンソンポリマー社からそれぞれ得られるポリウレタンおよびポリウレタン/アクリルハイブリッドエマルションである。
(5) Synthomer Emultex 523(「Synthomer Emu−523”)およびSynthomer Revacryl 211(「Synthomer Rev 211”)は、酢酸ビニル−コ−ビニルバーサテートおよび2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート−コ−メチルメタクリレートディスパージョンであり、Synthomer社から得られた。
(6) Noveon Stycar 0738はNoveon社から得られたスチレンブタジエンエマルションである。
(7) DSM Neocryl2092はDSM Neoresins社から得られたスチレンアクリルコポリマーエマルションである。
PET基体上、2Kバーで塗布された全固形分の10重量%の以下の組成のコーティングを使用し、50%RHおよび23℃で酸素透過度(cc/m2・日)が測定された:エマルション/クレー、ナトリウムシリケート/エマルションおよびナトリウムシリケート/クレー/エマルション。それぞれ比較のために並べて示された。
結果は表2に示される。
これらの実施例では、リチウムシリケート/エマルション/クレーの重量分率の関数としてコーティングを通る酸素透過度(cc/m2・日)を比較した。結果は表3に示される。
リチウムシリケート/クレー/エマルション(重量比率9:0.5:0.5)の全固形分の10重量%の配合物について、PPおよびPLA(ポリ乳酸)基体上に、2Kバーで塗布されたコーティングを使用し、50%RHおよび23℃で酸素透過度(cc/m2・日)が測定された。結果は表4に示される。
以下の規格で調製されたラミネートの酸素透過度および結合強さが測定された:リチウムシリケート:Joncryl DFC 3040E:クレー=9:0.5:0.5、固形分10重量%、2Kバー。結果は表5に示される。
* ラミネート構造39−41は、ラミネート構造35−37と同様の方法で調製された。しかしラミネートへの透過および結合強さに対する貯蔵の影響を分析するために、一か月の間エージングされた配合物が使用された。
注:
()内の酸素透過度はバリヤー層のない、ブランクのラミネートのものである。
Claims (14)
- 水溶性金属シリケート;
クレー;および
ポリマーエマルション;
を含む酸素バリヤーコーティングを調製するための組成物であって、該シリケートは組成物中の固形物の少なくとも70重量%を構成し、該クレーおよび該ポリマーは組成物中の全固形物の少なくとも1重量%を各々構成する組成物。 - シリケートの量は全固形物の少なくとも80%である、請求項1記載の組成物。
- クレーとポリマーの量はそれぞれ全固形物の15重量%以下である、請求項2記載の組成物。
- クレーとポリマーの量はそれぞれ全固形物の10重量%以下である、請求項3記載の組成物。
- 該シリケートは組成物中の全固形物の88から92%、該クレーは全固形物の4から6%、および該ポリマーは全固形物の4から6%を構成する、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 組成物の全固形分は1から20重量%である、請求項1から5のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 組成物の全固形分は10重量%である、請求項6記載の組成物。
- 金属シリケートはアルカリ金属シリケートである、請求項1から7のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 金属シリケートはナトリウムシリケート、カリウムシリケートまたはリチウムシリケートである、請求項8記載の組成物。
- アルカリ金属酸化物と二酸化ケイ素のモル比は0.1:1から0.4:1までである、請求項8または9記載の組成物。
- 該モル比は0.2:1から0.3:1までである、請求項10記載の組成物。
- 該ポリマーは、
アクリルポリマー;
2種以上のアクリレートおよび/またはメタアクリレートのコポリマー;
1種以上のエチレン性不飽和炭化水素と、1種以上のアルキルアクリレートとのコポリマー;
ポリエチレンワックス;
ポリエチレン−パラフィンワックス;
ポリウレタン;
ポリウレタン尿素ハイブリッド;
ポリウレタンアクリルハイブリッド;
酢酸ビニル−コ−ビニルバーサテート;または
スチレン−コ−ブタジエンハイブリッドである、
請求項1から11のいずれか1項記載の組成物。 - 溶剤中または分散媒中の、請求項1から12のいずれか1項記載の組成物を基体に適用し、溶剤または分散媒を除去することを含む、ガスバリアフィルムの形成方法。
- 包装された食品、医薬品または大気に敏感な物質であり、該包装が請求項13記載の方法により形成されたガスバリアフィルムを有する、包装された食品、医薬品または大気に敏感な物質。
