Description

The present invention relates to a paper sheet processing apparatus having a storage unit that stores paper sheets such as banknotes in an aligned and stacked state, and more particularly to a paper sheet processing apparatus that optimizes the storage of paper sheets in the storage unit. It is.

A paper sheet processing apparatus such as an automatic ticketing machine or a vending machine includes a storage unit such as a safe for storing paper sheets such as banknotes, and a transport means for transporting paper sheets, as exemplified in Patent Document 1. The banknotes are deposited and withdrawn from the storage unit through the conveying means.

The storage unit stores the paper sheets in an aligned state, and as illustrated in FIG. 8, the distance from the facing surface 1031 is approximately equal to the width W1 of the paper sheet Pa in the short direction. An alignment guide portion 1032 for aligning and accumulating the paper sheets Pa by guiding both ends in the short direction of the paper sheets Pa together with the opposing surface 1031 and an alignment guide for the paper sheets Pa input by the conveying means. A configuration including a calling portion 1033 for calling between the portion 1032 and the facing surface 1031 is generally used.

However, since the contact portion S that contacts the aligned and stacked sheets in the alignment guide portion 1032 is continuously formed from one end side to the other end side in the longitudinal direction, the sheet sheet Pa is conveyed. At this time, the frictional force received from the alignment guide portion 1032 may accumulate on the paper sheet Pa, leading to a conveyance failure such as a jam of the paper sheet Pa.

The present invention has been made paying attention to such problems, and its purpose is to appropriately align and stack the paper sheets while reducing the friction generated between the paper sheets and suppressing the conveyance failure. It is providing the paper sheet processing apparatus to be made.

In order to achieve this object, the present invention takes the following measures.

That is, the paper sheet processing apparatus of the present invention includes a storage unit that stores paper sheets in an accumulated state, and a transport unit that feeds the paper sheets into the storage unit by transporting the paper sheets in the longitudinal direction. , An alignment guide portion that is provided inside the storage portion and guides both ends in the short direction of the paper sheets together with the opposing surface to align and accumulate the paper sheets, and the input paper sheets are opposed to the alignment guide portion. And the alignment guide portion contacts the sheets that are aligned and accumulated at a position spaced apart from the opposing surface at a distance that substantially matches the width in the short direction of the sheets. The contact portion and the non-contact portion that is further away from the facing surface than the contact portion are alternately arranged along the longitudinal direction.

In this way, the alignment guide unit is in contact with the paper sheets that are aligned and accumulated at a position spaced apart from the opposing surface at a distance that substantially matches the width in the short direction of the paper sheets, and further away from the opposing surface than the contact site. Since the non-contact part is arranged alternately along the longitudinal direction, the friction force received by the paper sheet from the contact part when the paper sheet is conveyed in the longitudinal direction is released at the non-contact part. In addition to being able to disperse the resistance at each contact site, the contact area is reduced by providing a non-contact site, and the friction generated between the paper sheets is not impaired without impairing the function of properly aligning and storing the paper sheets. It is possible to reduce the conveyance failure.

In order to visually check the amount of paper sheets accumulated in the storage unit without affecting the transport of the paper sheets, the paper sheets can be viewed from the outside in the non-contact part of the alignment guide unit. It is desirable to provide a viewing window.

Since the present invention has the above-described configuration, the paper sheets can be released without losing the function of releasing or dispersing the friction received from the contact portion of the alignment guide portion and appropriately aligning and storing the paper sheets. It is possible to reduce the friction generated between the two and the conveyance failure.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the present embodiment, a paper sheet processing apparatus as a banknote block that handles banknotes will be described as an example.

The paper sheet processing apparatus of this embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is used as, for example, a ticket vending machine that sells tickets, cards, check-out tickets, etc., and is stored in a banknote block 1 and a banknote storage place. And the transport means 2 for identifying the denomination of the inserted bill by the identification unit 22 and transporting it to the corresponding safe among the safes A to D via the transport path 21. .

The banknote block 1 is provided with an insertion port 11, a withdrawal port 13, and a return port 14 (hereinafter also referred to as a withdrawal port 12 together with the withdrawal port 13 and the return port 14) on the side closer to the user. A fixed-type mixing safe D is provided on the side close to the user, and three cassette-type safes A to C are provided on the side, on the side where the staff operates. Also, in the banknote block 1, a temporary holding unit E or a withdrawal holding unit F that temporarily holds banknotes on the transport path 21, unreadable, double feed occurrence, defective ticket collection that collects defective tickets at the time of abnormality detection Part G and the like are also provided. The cassette-type safes A to C are detachable safes that can be gripped and pulled out as illustrated in FIG.

As shown in FIG. 3, the identification unit 22 mainly performs denomination determination of banknotes, and identifies only denominations of banknotes inserted through the insertion slot 11. On the other hand, when banknotes are replenished to the respective safes A to D, or when banknotes are collected from the respective safes A to D, the simple identification unit 20 for replenishment and collection shown in FIG. Hereinafter, the denomination is identified by a simple identification unit. The simple type mentioned here refers to a type that performs only denomination identification and does not identify the authenticity of banknotes (whether it is counterfeit).

In each of the safes A to C, as shown in FIG. 4, a storage unit 3 (a1, a2) such as a primary storage unit a1 and a stacking unit a2 for storing banknotes in a stacked state, and a conveyance path 21 from the outside. In addition, a conveying means 2 such as a clamping roller 24 is provided for loading paper sheets Pa such as banknotes to be stored in the storage section a2 and discharging the paper sheets Pa in the storage section 3 toward the transport path 21. ing. A viewing window 4 for visually confirming the paper sheet Pa stored therein is formed on the side surfaces of the primary storage unit a1 and the stacking unit a2 (storage unit 3). In the stacking part a2, a plurality of long hole-like viewing windows 4 are arranged in a staggered pattern so that the viewing windows 4 overlap each other in the paper stacking direction, and the stacking part a2 side of the stacking part a2 The paper sheets Pa accumulated and stored in the accumulating portion a2 can be visually confirmed regardless of the amount of accumulation without impairing the strength of the portion.

The storage unit 3 is not limited to the stacking unit a2 of the safes A to C and the primary holding units a1 to c1, but is also provided in the temporary holding unit E and the withdrawal holding unit F that temporarily hold the banknotes on the transport path 21. However, here, the primary storage unit a1 of the safe A will be described as an example. As shown in FIG. 5, the primary storage portion a <b> 1 that is the storage portion 3 is provided with an alignment guide portion 32 on one of the side inner walls of the storage portion 3, and the opposing surface 31 that is the other inner wall and the alignment guide portion 32. Then, both ends of the paper sheets in the short direction are guided, and the paper sheets Pa are aligned in the short direction and accumulated in the thickness direction. The width W1 in the short direction of the paper sheet Pa of the present embodiment is about 56 mm, and the alignment guide portion 32 has a contact portion S that is a surface parallel to the facing surface 31 at a position spaced from the facing surface 31 by the width W1. Two places are arranged in the longitudinal direction, and this contact portion S is in contact with the paper sheet Pa. Between the two contact parts S, a non-contact part N that is further away from the facing surface 31 than the contact part S and does not contact the aligned and stacked paper sheets Pa is disposed, and the contact part S and the contact part S are arranged along the longitudinal direction. Non-contact portions N are alternately arranged. The non-contact portion N of the alignment guide portion 32 also serves as a mounting portion for the inner wall of the storage portion 3, and the above-described observation window 4 is formed in the non-contact portion N. This observation window is configured by a hole that is punched and provided in the overlapping portion between the non-contact portion N of the alignment guide portion 32 and the side wall of the storage portion 3. In the storage unit 3, the paper sheet Pa that has been introduced with a narrow width from the opposing surface 31 toward the alignment guide unit 32 from the input / output portion side of the paper sheet Pa is placed in the alignment guide unit 32 and the opposing surface 31. A call-in part 33 is provided between the two. The calling portion 33 is inclined at an angle θ with respect to the longitudinal direction (feeding direction) of the paper sheet Pa. If the angle θ is too large, a paper jam such as a jam occurs when the paper sheet Pa abuts on the calling portion 33. Conversely, if the angle θ is too small, the size in the longitudinal direction of the calling portion 33 increases. It is required to be set to a correct value. In the present embodiment, the angle θ is set to 14 °, but a suitable range includes 5 ° to 15 °. The contact part S and non-contact part N of the alignment guide part 32 and the calling part 33 are integrally formed as a single piece by sheet metal processing such as bending of one sheet metal. The paper sheet Pa of the present embodiment has a longitudinal width W2 of about 150 mm to 160 mm, and one longitudinal width W3 of the contact portion S of the alignment guide portion 32 is about 20 mm. The total length in the longitudinal direction of the contact portion S that contacts the paper sheet Pa is about 25% to 26% of the longitudinal width W2 of the paper sheet Pa.

As shown in FIG. 3, the transport unit 2 includes the transport path 21 including a holding roller 24, a transport belt, a direction changing unit such as a wing, and the like, as in the known banknote processing device, and the transport mechanism 3. And the identification unit 22 and the simple identification unit 20 for identifying the denomination of the banknotes to be conveyed, and the control unit 23 for controlling the conveyance path 21 based on the identification result of the identification unit 22 or the simple identification unit 20 ( (See FIG. 3). And after letting the banknote thrown in from the insertion port 11 pass to the identification part 22, it distribute | circulates along the conveyance path | route 21, changes the direction of a banknote as needed by the branch part ag provided everywhere, The safes A to D, the temporary holding unit E, the withdrawal holding unit F, the payout port 12, the primary holding units a1 to c1, the defective ticket collecting unit G, and the like are transported, and from the safes A to D, the transport path 21 The system is configured to perform overall control including the upward feeding operation of banknotes, the denomination identification in the simple identification unit 20, and the transport operation to the payout port 12 and the safes A to D as the next transport destination. ing.

In order to perform the above control, the control unit 23 is constituted by a normal microcomputer unit having a CPU, a memory, and an interface, and a necessary program such as a control processing routine shown in FIG. 6 is written in the memory. The CPU calls and executes a necessary program as appropriate, thereby realizing an intended transport operation in cooperation with peripheral hardware resources. Further, when bills are loaded into the safes A to D or bills are fed out from the safes A to D, a counter (not shown) provided in a part of each safe A to D or a part of the transport path 21 is used. The number of banknotes is counted.

As described above, in the present embodiment, the alignment guide portion 32 contacts the paper sheet Pa that is aligned and accumulated at a position spaced apart from the facing surface 31 by a distance that substantially coincides with the lateral width W1 of the paper sheet Pa. Since the contact part S and the non-contact part N that is further away from the facing surface 31 than the contact part S are alternately arranged along the longitudinal direction, the longitudinal direction of the paper sheet Pa by the transport unit 2 is configured. The friction force received by the paper sheet Pa from the contact part S during conveyance is released at the non-contact part N, the resistance can be dispersed at each contact part S, and the contact area is reduced by providing the non-contact part N. Thus, it is possible to reduce the friction generated between the paper sheet Pa and the conveyance failure without impairing the function of properly aligning and storing the paper sheet Pa.

In particular, in the present embodiment, the total longitudinal width of the contact portions S of the alignment guide portion 32 is set to about 25% to 26% of the longitudinal width of the paper sheet Pa. It is possible to suppress conveyance failure while aligning and accumulating.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, since the observation window 4 is provided in the non-contact portion N of the alignment guide portion 32 so that the paper sheet Pa can be visually recognized from the outside, the paper such as the paper sheet Pa is caught on the observation window 4. It is possible to visually check the amount of paper sheets accumulated in the storage unit without affecting the conveyance of the leaves.

As mentioned above, although embodiment of this invention was described based on drawing, it should be thought that a specific structure is not limited to these embodiment. The scope of the present invention is shown not only by the above description of the embodiments but also by the scope of claims for patent, and further includes all modifications within the meaning and scope equivalent to the scope of claims for patent.

For example, in the present embodiment, the alignment guide portion 32 and the calling portion 33 are provided on one of the side inner walls of the storage portion 3, but the alignment guide portion 32 and the call-in portion are provided as in the storage portion 103 shown in FIG. The portions 33 may be provided on both sides of the paper sheet Pa in the short direction. In this way, the effect obtained by the alignment guide portion 32 can be further enhanced.

Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the contact site S of the alignment guide portion 32 is a surface parallel to the facing surface 31, but the alignment guide portion 32 is arranged in a plurality of arcuate alignments like the storage portion 203 shown in FIG. As the guide part 232, the paper sheet Pa and the arcuate alignment guide part 232 may be brought into point contact in a plan view.
