Description
Claims (22)
- 検体の検出のためのイオン移動度分光計であって、
トラッピング又は検体からの予備濃縮のない検体の検出のために分析され、試料ガスの流れを85cm 3 /sより大きい流量で連続的に受け入れる試料入口と、
イオン化容量が5cm 3 を超えるイオン源を含む、一次イオンを形成するためのイオン化領域と、
検体イオンを含む二次イオン及び三次イオンを形成するために電荷移動可能な一次イオンが含まれた試料ガスの流れを受ける反応領域と、
イオンシャッターと、
電位勾配を有するドリフト領域と、
イオン検出器と、を含み、
前記イオンシャッターは、前記ドリフト領域へのイオンの侵入を規制し、前記イオン検出器で検出されるイオンは、前記電位勾配中の電気泳動の方向に沿って移動し、これにより、検体の検出がなされる、イオン移動度分光計。 - 前記イオン源の前記イオン化容量が、100cm3より大きい、請求項1に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- 前記イオン源の前記イオン化容量が、0.5L〜2Lである、請求項1に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- イオン化領域中に電場勾配がある、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- 前記イオン源が、1つ又は複数の放射性イオン源である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- 前記イオン源が、コロナ放電又は光イオン源である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- 前記分光計に入る試料ガスを加熱するための加熱器をさらに備える、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- 前記試料ガスの流れが乾燥していない、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- 前記イオン検出器が、質量分析計である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- 前記試料ガスの流れの方向が、前記電気泳動の方向と交差する、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- 前記試料ガスの流れの方向が、前記電気泳動の方向と反対向きである、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のイオン移動度分光計。
- イオン移動度分光法によって試料ガス中の検体を検出する方法であって、
(a)トラッピング又は検体からの予備濃縮のない検体の検出のために分析される試料ガスを連続的に受け入れる試料入口と、イオン化容量が5cm 3 を超えるイオン源を含む、一次イオンを形成するためのイオン化領域と、検体イオンを含む二次イオン及び三次イオンを形成するために電荷移動可能な一次イオンが含まれた試料ガスの流れを受ける反応領域と、イオンシャッターと、イオンの電気泳動の方向に沿って形成される電位勾配を有するドリフト領域と、イオン検出器と、を含むイオン移動度分光計(IMS)を用意するステップと、
(b)85cm 3 /sより大きい流量となるように前記IMSの前記イオン化領域中に検体の検出のために分析される試料ガスを連続的に導入し、一次イオンを形成するステップと、
(c)前記反応領域において検体イオンを含む二次イオン及び三次イオンを形成するステップと、
(d)前記IMSにおける前記検体イオンを検出し、これにより、検体の検出を行うステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記イオン検出器が、質量分析計である、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記IMSが、前記イオン化領域中に電場勾配を設けた、請求項12又は13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記試料ガスが、周囲空気である、請求項12〜14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記試料ガスの流れが乾燥していない、請求項12〜15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記試料ガスの流量が、85〜8500cm 3 /sである請求項12〜16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記試料ガスの略全体がイオン化される、請求項12〜17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記試料ガスの流れの方向が、前記電気泳動の方向と交差する、請求項12〜18のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記検体が、空気中で1ppb以下の飽和濃度を有する低蒸気圧検体である、請求項12〜19のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記検体が、TNTである、請求項12〜20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記試料ガス中の前記検体の検出レベルが1ppbである、請求項12〜21のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
