乾燥及び湿潤絶縁耐力試験は、ASTM D149の手順に従って実施した。一般的にこの試験では、試料を2本の電極間に置き、絶縁破損状態になるまで電力を上昇させる。「乾燥」絶縁耐力試験は、室温かつ相対湿度50%において実施した。「湿潤」絶縁耐力試験は、試料を、23℃かつ相対湿度96%で96時間放置して実施した。乾燥絶縁耐力試験に合格するには、絶縁耐力は39.37kV/mm(1000V/ミル)以上でなければならない。湿潤絶縁耐力試験に合格するには、乾燥絶縁耐力の少なくとも90%が保持されていなければならない(すなわち、湿潤絶縁耐力は35.43kV/mm(900V/ミル))。
材料の比較トラッキング指数(つまり「CTI」)は、規定の試験条件下における表面トラッキングに対する材料の抵抗力を示す単位である。試験手順は、ASTM D3638−07に記載される。一般には、試験を行うため、試験試料の上面をほぼ水平に保持し、2本の電極により電気的ストレスをかける。過電流装置が作動するまで、連続的に炎が上がるまで、又は試験時間が経過するまで、電極間表面に連続的に電解質溶液の液滴をかける。各試験は短時間(1時間未満)であり、最大50滴又は100滴の電解質溶液約20mgを、30秒おきに、試験試料表面上で40mm離れて置かれるプラチナ電極間にかける。試験中、100V〜600Vの交流電圧を電極に印加する。
UL 510スチール接着性標準は、ASTM D1000に従って測定される接着値が、少なくとも18g/mm(16oz/in)であることが要求される。
不透明度は、ASTM D589−97に従って試験した。一般に試験を行うには、フィルム試料を黒/白コントラストチャート上におく。空気乾後、BYKガードナー(BYK-Gardner)タイプの分光計ガイドを用いて、試料の減少を客観的に評価する。結果を、以下の式で算出される不透明度パーセントで表す。

テープ試料を作製し様々な本発明の実施形態を例示した。所与の実施例又は比較例についてテープ試料を製造するため、以下表2に示す成分を、以下表3に示す量で含有する接着剤組成物を調製した。各試料について、溶媒(ヘプタン、酢酸エチル、又はこれらの配合物)の存在下で、ラボサイズの強力ミキサーを用いて接着剤組成物の成分を混合した。得られた組成物を、プライミングした25μm厚のPETフィルム上に直接コーティングし、実験室用ナイフコーターを用いた場合はハンドスプレッド試料を、又は、パイロットサイズのコーター(ナイフコーターを備える)を用いた場合は公称コーティング厚約25μmの連続コーティングフィルムを製造した。コーティング後、試料を強制対流オーブンに置き(ハンドスプレッド試料の場合)、又は、トンネル型オーブンに連続的に通し(連続フィルムの場合)、溶媒を抽出して試料を乾燥した。次いで、コーティングして乾燥した試料を切断又は切り離し、1.9cm(0.75インチ)の試料を作製した。上記試験方法に従って試料を試験し、結果を以下の表3に示す。

Claims (2)
- アルミナ三水和物およびホスフィン酸又はホスフィン酸塩を含むハロゲンフリー難燃性組成物を含み、接着剤が、アクリル感圧性接着剤であり、前記ホスフィン酸又はホスフィン酸塩が、前記難燃性組成物の約17重量%〜約100重量%を構成し、前記ハロゲンフリー難燃性組成物の濃度が、前記ハロゲンフリー難燃性接着剤組成物がUL 510 スチール接着性、UL 510 燃焼性試験およびUL 510 湿潤絶縁耐力試験に合格するような濃度であるハロゲンフリー難燃性接着剤組成物。
- 実質的にハロゲン含有物質を含まない裏材と、
前記裏材の少なくとも1つの面に配置されるアクリル感圧性接着剤組成物と、
アルミナ三水和物およびホスフィン酸又はホスフィン酸塩を含む前記アクリル感圧性接着剤組成物中に存在するハロゲンフリー難燃性組成物と、を含んでなり、
前記ホスフィン酸又はホスフィン酸塩が、前記ハロゲンフリー難燃性組成物の約17重量%〜約100重量%を構成し、
前記ハロゲンフリー難燃性組成物の濃度が、テープがUL 510 スチール接着性、UL 510 燃焼性試験およびUL 510 湿潤絶縁耐力試験に合格するような濃度であるテープを含む、製造物品。
