Abstract

Description
背景技术
出于安全考虑,在用于包裹电子装置或电子设备的电源线的材料或用于印刷电路板的涂层中添加了阻燃剂以提供阻燃效果。粘合剂广泛应用于组装电子装置和/或设备的部件。同样,为了安全起见,用于电子领域的粘合剂必须为阻燃的。众所周知并且广泛使用的阻燃粘合剂使用了一种或多种含卤素的化合物。然而,使用具有含卤素化合物的材料存在环境和安全问题。为了克服此类问题,开发了一些与将非卤素材料用于粘合剂相关联的技术。目前可用的非卤化或无卤素粘合剂未表现出高等级的阻燃能力。另外,当粘合材料的厚度减小时,粘合力将受到影响。
发明内容
在本发明中,提供了一种非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物,其中当使用本发明提供的非卤素阻燃粘合剂制造薄粘合带时,可保持粘合力和阻燃能力。这种非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物包含粘合剂和阻燃组合物。阻燃组合物包含磷酸酯化合物以及阻燃材料,该阻燃材料选自由三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯、三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐和次膦酸盐组成的组中的一种或多种成分。粘合剂与阻燃组合物的比率在1:0.7至1:1.2的范围内,并且非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物基于ASTM-D3330的180度剥离强度高于1.0kg/in并实现了UL 94VTM阻燃能力。
本发明还提供了一种粘合带,其中粘合带包括背衬和涂覆在其上的非卤素阻燃粘合剂。非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物包含粘合剂和阻燃组合物。阻燃组合物包含磷酸酯化合物以及阻燃材料,该阻燃材料选自由三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯、三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐和次膦酸盐组成的组中的一种或多种成分。粘合剂与阻燃组合物的比率在1:0.7至1:1.2的范围内,并且由非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物制成的粘合带基于ASTM-D3330的180度剥离强度高于1.0kg/in并实现了UL 94VTM阻燃能力。

本发明涉及非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物。本文所用的“非卤素”意指基本上不含(例如含微量或无效量的)卤素,即氟、氯、溴、碘和砹。非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物包含粘合剂和阻燃组合物,并且该阻燃组合物包含磷酸酯化合物和阻燃粉末。阻燃材料选自由三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯、三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐和次膦酸盐组成的组中的一种或多种成分。粘合剂与阻燃组合物的比率在1:0.7至1:1.2(W/W)的范围内,并且非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物基于ASTM-D3330的180度剥离强度基本上高于1.0kg/in并实现了UL 94VTM阻燃能力,例如,实现了UL94VTM 2、UL94VTM 1或在一些情况下实现了UL94VTM 0阻燃能力。
可应用于本发明的粘合剂不受限制。如在本领域中所熟知,可将粘合剂分类为丙烯酸类粘合剂、聚烯烃类粘合剂、苯乙烯共聚物粘合剂、有机硅粘合剂、环氧树脂粘合剂、乙烯共聚物粘合剂以及其它类型的粘合剂。当通过它们的粘合特性描述时,可将本发明的粘合剂分类为压敏粘合剂、热固性粘合剂、热熔粘合剂以及其它类型的粘合剂。在一个优选的实施方案中,粘合剂为基于丙烯酸的压敏粘合剂。
本发明的阻燃组合物包含磷酸酯化合物和阻燃粉末。在一个实施方案中,磷酸酯是由以下结构表示的双酚A双(二苯基磷酸酯)。在一个优选的实施方案中,n为1或2。
阻燃材料可包含一种或多种成分。所述成分选自由三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯粉末、三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐粉末和次膦酸盐粉末或者它们的组合组成的组。三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯由以下结构表示:
本发明的三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐由以下结构表示:
本发明的次膦酸盐由以下结构表示,其中M为镁、钙、铝或锌;m为3或2;并且R1、R2可以相同或不同,其可以是直链或支链的C1-C6-烷基和/或芳基。在一些实施方案中,次膦酸盐可以是次膦酸铝盐如二乙基次膦酸铝,但不限于此。
在一些实施方案中,粘合剂和阻燃组合物的比率(W/W)在1:0.7至1:1.2的范围内,例如,1:0.7、1:0.8、1:0.9、1:1.0、1:1.1或1:1.2。当然,该比率可为该范围内的任何比率。阻燃组合物包含磷酸酯化合物和阻燃材料。当粘合剂与阻燃材料的比率(W/W)为约1:0.7时,磷酸酯化合物与阻燃材料的比率基本上不大于2:5,例如,磷酸酯化合物与阻燃材料的比率可为1:6或2:5。当粘合剂与阻燃材料的比率(W/W)升至1:1.2时,磷酸酯化合物与阻燃材料的比率基本上不大于5:7,例如,磷酸酯化合物与阻燃材料的比率可为1:11、2:10、3:9、4:8或5:7。换句话讲,磷酸酯化合物与总阻燃组合物的比率不大于41.6%。但应当理解,磷酸酯化合物与总阻燃组合物的比率可为小于41.6%的任何值。例如,磷酸酯化合物等于或小于阻燃组合物的33.3%,或者等于或小于阻燃组合物的28.6%。在一些实施方案中,磷酸酯化合物可为总阻燃组合物的25.0%、16.7%、14.3%或8.3%;在一些其它实施方案中,磷酸酯化合物与总阻燃组合物的比率在8.3%至25.0%的范围内,其中磷酸酯化合物为双酚A双(二苯基磷酸酯)。
作为阻燃组合物的阻燃材料,其可为选自三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯、三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐、次膦酸盐或者它们的组合的粉末。当阻燃组合物的阻燃材料包含两种成分时,这两种成分的比率可相等(1:1)。当阻燃组合物的阻燃材料包含三种成分时,三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯与三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐的比率基本上相等,并且三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯或三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐与次膦酸盐的比率在1:1至1:4的范围内。换句话讲,三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯、三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐和次膦酸盐的比率可为例如1:1:1、1:1:2、1:1:3或1:1:4。
非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物可施加至一些用于制造粘合带的膜背衬材料。在一些实施方案中,背衬可为薄纸或聚酯如聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)。薄纸背衬通常是指天然纤维如动物纤维或植物纤维,或者人造纤维。背衬的平均厚度基本上小于或等于160μm,优选地在25μm至45μm的范围内。然而,因为背衬的厚度可能由于制造工艺而不同,所以应当理解,本发明中的背衬的厚度是指平均厚度并且可能有10μm的公差。另外,背衬厚度的选择可基于对粘合带的厚度要求来调整。作为非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物的涂层厚度,其在25μm至75μm的范围内,例如50μm。当在背衬的两面进行涂覆以制造双面涂覆的粘合带时,各面上的涂层厚度也在25μm至75μm的范围内。
实施例
给出以下实施例和比较例,以帮助理解本发明。此类实施例和比较例不应被理解为限制其范围。除非另外指明,否则所有的份数和百分比均按重量计。使用下述测试方法和方案来评估以下示例性实施例和比较例:
测试方法
1.UL94VTM阻燃性测试:
根据UL94VTM(由美国保险商实验室(U.S.Underwriters’LaboratoriesInc.)公布的标准)的测试标准进行阻燃性评级测试。UL94VTM测试工序如下:将各样品构造成8英寸长*0.5英寸直径的管,在从底部起5英寸处标记管,向悬挂在测试室中的管的基部施加火焰3秒,撤回火焰并记录燃烧时间(续燃时间t1),再次将火焰施加到相同的样品3秒,然后撤回并记录燃烧时间(续燃时间t2)和辉光时间(余辉时间t3)。每次测试包括5个试样。
UL94VTM-0:每个单独试样的续燃时间t1或t2小于10s;任何条件组的总续燃时间(5个试样的t1加t2)小于50s;每个单独试样在经第二次施加火焰后的续燃时间加余辉时间(5个试样的t2加t3)小于30s;任何试样的续燃或余辉均没有达到5英寸标记;并且燃烧颗粒或熔滴没有点燃棉花指示物。
UL94VTM-1:每个单独试样的续燃时间t1或t2小于30s;任何条件组的总续燃时间(5个试样的t1加t2)小于250s;每个单独试样在第二次施加火焰后的续燃时间加余辉时间(5个试样的t2加t3)小于60s;任何试样的续燃或余辉均没有达到5英寸标记;并且燃烧颗粒或熔滴没有点燃棉花指示物。
UL94VTM-2:每个单独试样的续燃时间t1或t2小于30s;任何条件组的总续燃时间(5个试样的t1加t2)小于250s;每个单独试样在第二次施加火焰后的续燃时间加余辉时间(5个试样的t2加t3)小于60s;任何试样的续燃或余辉均没有达到5英寸标记;并且允许棉花指示物被燃烧颗粒或熔滴点燃。
2.粘合强度测试:
测试方法是基于ASTM-D3330的180度剥离强度。测试环境条件控制为23+/-2℃和65+/-5%的相对湿度(RH)。各样品都是通过将每个所得片材切割成25mm宽和200mm长而获得。将各样品附接至不锈钢(SUS304)板。用2kg负载(橡胶硬度:75deg.至85deg.)的橡胶辊将样品压紧。72小时后,将样品在相同条件(23+/-2℃和65+/-5%RH)下处理并固定至拉伸试验机(岛津公司(Shimadzu Corporation)制造的万能拉伸试验机)上,然后以300mm/min的速度将样品向与不锈钢板成180度的角度剥离。
实施例的制备
使用的材料列于下表1中:

实施例和比较例
对于每个实施例和比较例,使用实验型高强度混合器在溶剂(庚烷、乙酸乙酯或两者的共混物)存在下将如以下表2中所示比率的粘合剂和阻燃组合物混合。粘合剂是指具有丙烯酸类粘合剂聚合物、增粘剂和交联剂的粘合剂,其中丙烯酸类粘合剂聚合物、增粘剂和交联剂的比率为2:1:0.1。

将各实施例的非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物和各比较例的粘合剂直接施加至经底漆处理的不同材料和厚度的背衬。使用实验室刮刀式涂布机将涂层制成手工铺展样品或使用试点上胶涂布机(pilot size coater)(配备有刮刀式涂布机)将涂层制成具有约50μm的标称涂层厚度的连续涂布膜。UL94VTM等级和180度剥离强度如下表3所示:

*结果得自在平均厚度为30μm的薄纸背衬的两面上涂覆非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物的组。
对于本领域技术人员而言,应当理解,当粘合剂和涂层厚度相同时,粘合力和粘合带厚度之间存在正相关。此外,粘合剂将不浸入PET背衬中,因此,对于双面涂覆在45μm薄纸背衬或25μm PET背衬上的非卤素阻燃粘合剂,其粘合力大于30μm薄纸背衬的粘合力,因此它不在这里冗余列出。
如表3中所示,由实施例1至实施例8的非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物制成的粘合带均显示出出色的粘合力和阻燃能力,其中各实施例的粘合力均大于1.0kg/in。作为在30μm薄纸背衬上涂覆有比较例1的粘合剂的粘合带的粘合力,该粘合力小于0.898kg/in。将比较例1和实施例3(具有180度剥离强度1.213kg/in)进行比较,应当理解,比较例1可能不利于粘合。将比较例2和实施例2进行比较,尽管粘合力均高于1.0kg/in,但涂覆有比较例2的粘合剂的25μm PET背衬仅能够通过UL94VTM 1,而其余组均未通过。基于比较例3至5,当双酚A双(二苯基磷酸酯)的比例过高或过低时,粘合力或阻燃能力受到影响。
表4显示了将一些实施例的非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物涂覆在160μm PET背衬或25μm PET背衬上的双面涂覆粘合带或单面涂覆粘合带的阻燃能力。单面上的粘合剂的涂层厚度为50μm。

如表4中所示,当将那些实施例的非卤素阻燃粘合剂涂覆在160μm PET背衬的两个面上时,由其衍生的双面涂覆粘合带均可通过UL94VTM 1。将粘合剂施加至25μm PET背衬或160μm PET背衬的一个面以制造单面涂覆粘合带,所述粘合带分别可通过UL94VTM 0和UL94VTM 2。
综上所述,本发明的非卤素阻燃粘合剂可制造厚度等于或小于260μm的单面或双面涂覆粘合带,并且粘合带具有良好的粘合力(180度剥离强度>1.0Kg/in)和出色的阻燃能力(至少通过UL94VTM 2)。当粘合带的厚度等于或小于145μm时,阻燃能力可达到UL94VTM 0等级。
尽管出于举例说明的目的,上述具体实施方式包含许多具体细节,但是本领域内的任何普通技术人员将会知道,对细节进行的多种变化、更改、替代和改变均在受权利要求书保护的本发明的范围之内。因此,对在具体实施方式中描述的本发明的介绍不对受权利要求保护的本发明施加任何限制。本发明的适当范围应该由以下权利要求书及其适当的法律等同物确定。
Claims (16)
1.一种非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物,包含:
粘合剂;以及
阻燃组合物,所述阻燃组合物包含磷酸酯化合物以及阻燃材料,其中所述磷酸酯化合物为双酚A双(二苯基磷酸酯)(bis-phenol A bis(diphenyl phosphate)),并且所述磷酸酯化合物与所述阻燃组合物的比率不大于41.6%,且所述阻燃材料选自由三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯、三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐和次膦酸盐组成的组中的一种或多种成分;
其中所述粘合剂与所述阻燃组合物的比率在1:0.7至1:1.2的范围内,并且所述非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物基于ASTM-D3330的180度剥离强度高于1.0kg/in并实现了UL 94 VTM阻燃能力。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其中所述磷酸酯化合物为双酚A双(二苯基磷酸酯),并且所述磷酸酯化合物与所述阻燃组合物的比率在8.3%至25.0%的范围内。
3.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其中当所述阻燃材料包含两种成分时,所述两种成分的比率为1:1。
4.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其中所述阻燃材料包含三种成分;三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯与三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐的比率为约1:1;并且三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯与次膦酸盐的比率在1:1至1:4的范围内。
5.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其中所述次膦酸盐为次膦酸铝。
6.根据权利要求1所述的组合物,其中所述粘合剂包括丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂。
7.一种粘合带,包括:
背衬;以及
非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物,所述非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物包含粘合剂和阻燃组合物,其中所述磷酸酯化合物为双酚A双(二苯基磷酸酯),并且所述磷酸酯化合物与所述阻燃组合物的比率不大于41.6%,且所述阻燃组合物包含磷酸酯化合物以及阻燃材料,所述阻燃材料选自由三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯、三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐和次膦酸盐组成的组中的一种或多种成分;
其中所述粘合剂与所述阻燃组合物的比率在1:0.7至1:1.2的范围内,并且所述非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物基于ASTM-D3330的180度剥离强度高于1.0kg/in并实现了UL 94 VTM阻燃能力。
8.根据权利要求7所述的粘合带,其中所述背衬为薄纸或PET。
9.根据权利要求7所述的粘合带,其中所述背衬的厚度不大于160微米。
10.根据权利要求9所述的粘合带,其中所述背衬的厚度在25微米至45微米的范围内。
11.根据权利要求7所述的粘合带,其中所述非卤素阻燃粘合剂组合物的厚度在25微米至75微米的范围内。
12.根据权利要求8所述的粘合带,其中所述磷酸酯化合物为双酚A双(二苯基磷酸酯),并且所述磷酸酯化合物与所述阻燃组合物的比率在8.3%至25.0%的范围内。
13.根据权利要求7所述的粘合带,其中当所述阻燃材料包含两种成分时,所述两种成分的比率为1:1。
14.根据权利要求7所述的粘合带,其中所述阻燃材料包含三种成分;三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯与三聚氰胺焦磷酸盐的比率为约1:1;并且三聚氰胺氰尿酸酯与次膦酸盐的比率在1:1至1:4的范围内。
15.根据权利要求7所述的粘合带,其中所述次膦酸盐为次膦酸铝。
16.根据权利要求7所述的粘合带,其中所述粘合剂包括丙烯酸类压敏粘合剂。
