Description
Claims (8)
- タービン・エンジン用の燃料ノズルであって、
略円筒型の主ボディと、
円筒型の主ボディの内部に主ボディの出口端に隣接して取り付けられた円板形状の燃料旋回翼プレートであって、複数の燃料供給開口部が旋回翼プレートを通って延び、旋回翼プレートを出て渦流室に入る燃料に旋回運動が与えられるように燃料供給開口部は旋回翼プレートの第1および第2の平坦面に対して角度が付いており、前記円板形状の燃料旋回翼プレートの中心に円形の開口が形成される、燃料旋回翼プレートと、
前記円形の開口内に取り付けられ、前記渦流室内に配置されるパイロット・ノズルと、
主ボディの出口端に取り付けられたノズル・キャップであって、ノズル・キャップの直径は、主ボディに結合される第1の端部から出口を形成する第2の端部へと徐々に小さくなっており、燃料旋回翼プレートの出口側とノズル・キャップの内部側壁とによって渦流室が画定されるノズル・キャップと、
前記タービン・エンジンを始動する間に前記燃料よりも単位体積当たりのエネルギーの量が大きいスタータ燃料を前記パイロット・ノズルに供給する手段と、
前記タービン・エンジンが目標の速度に達した後に、前記スタータ燃料の供給を遮断する手段と、
前記ノズル・キャップの側壁内に形成された複数の空気吸入開口部と、
を備え、
前記複数の空気吸入開口部によって、前記燃料ノズルの外側からの空気が前記渦流室に入る、
燃料ノズル。 - 旋回運動が与えられた前記燃料は、前記出口において前記燃料ノズルを出る請求項1に記載の燃料ノズル。
- 燃料供給開口部は、円板形状の燃料旋回翼プレートの中心の周りに形成された開口部からなる複数の又は単一のリングを備える請求項1又は2に記載の燃料ノズル。
- 燃料供給開口部は円形の断面形状又は直線的断面形状を有する請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の燃料ノズル。
- 燃料供給開口部は円板形状の燃料旋回翼プレートを通って螺旋状に延びる請求項1に記載の燃料ノズル。
- 前記第2の端部の内径が前記燃料旋回翼プレートの外径の半分以上である、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の燃料ノズル。
- 前記燃料ノズル内に送出する前に、前記燃料を加圧するポンプを備え、
前記燃料が石炭ガス、製鋼所から出る高炉ガス、埋め立て地ガスのいずれかである、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の燃料ノズル。 - 請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の燃料ノズルを備えるタービン・エンジンの運転方法であって、
前記タービン・エンジンを始動する間に前記燃料よりも単位体積当たりのエネルギーの量が大きいスタータ燃料を前記パイロット・ノズルに供給する段階と、
前記タービン・エンジンが目標の速度に達した後に、前記スタータ燃料の供給を遮断する段階と、
前記燃料供給開口部に前記燃料を供給する段階と、
を含む方法。
