Description
本発明に係る飼料用添加材は、EFB由来のポリフェノール、EFB由来のα−トコフェロール及びEFB由来のキシロース類のうちの少なくとも1又は2種以上を含有する。
本発明に係る飼料は、上述した飼料用添加材を、飼料用配合材に混合して得られる。
(実施例1〜3)
EFBを水熱処理して液体状の飼料用添加材を得た。
上記と同様の方法により、1ヶ月おきに更に2つの飼料用添加材を得た。
得られた3つの飼料用添加材を、それぞれ実施例1〜3とした。
得られた飼料用添加材について、下記の方法により水分、ポリフェノール、α−トコフェロール及びキシロース類の定量を行った。
水分の定量は、常圧加熱乾燥法により行った。
(ii)ポリフェノール
ポリフェノールの定量は、飼料用添加材に80%エタノール溶液を加えて80℃で30分間湯浴した後、1600×g、10分間の遠心分離を行い、得られた上清をサンプル溶液とし、Folin−Denis法による没食子酸相当量として測定した。
(iii)α−トコフェロール
α−トコフェロールの定量は、HPLC法により行った。
定量結果を表1に示す。
(iv)キシロース類
キシロース類の定量は、飼料用添加材を硫酸分解処理した後、HPLC法により行った。
比較用飼料用添加材として精糖蜜(正友興業株式会社製)について、実施例1と同様に定量を行った。定量結果を表1に示す。
比較用飼料用添加材として、3種の焼酎粕上清濃縮液について、実施例1と同様に定量を行った。定量結果を表1に示す。
実施例1〜3の飼料用添加材は、EFB由来のポリフェノール、α−トコフェロール及びキシロース類を含み、特にポリフェノール含量が際立って高いことがわかる。
(実施例4)
実施例1で得られた飼料用添加材を、飼料用配合材に、1.00重量%(ドライベースで0.54重量%)混合し、付着・浸透させて飼料を製造し、給餌した。飼料の組成、代謝エネルギー、総エネルギー及び粗タンパク質を表2に示した。
給餌期間:28日齢時までの12日間(自由飲水、不断給餌とした)
試験個体数:7〜8羽
28日齢時に、十二指腸から、1cm片の組織標本を採取し、そこから更に3−4μmの切片を切り出してhematoxylin−eosin methodによって染色した。
28日齢時における大胸筋組織を採取し、脂質過酸化物量を、チオバルビツール酸反応物質(TBARS)を用いた比色分析(分光光度分析)法により定量した。結果を図5に示す。
28日齢時における大胸筋組織を採取し、α−トコフェロール含量をHPLC法によって定量した。結果を図6に示す。
16日齢時から28日齢時までの飼料摂取量を2日おきに測定し、12日間の合計飼料摂取量を比較した。結果を図7に示す。
実施例4において、飼料用配合材に対する飼料用添加材の添加量を5.00重量%(ドライベースで2.70重量%)としたこと以外は、実施例4と同様に飼料を製造し、給餌して、小腸形態の観察、大胸筋における過酸化物の定量、大胸筋におけるα−トコフェロール含量の定量、飼料摂取量の測定を行った。
実施例4及び5において、飼料用配合材に飼料用添加材を添加しなかったこと以外は、実施例4と同様に飼料を製造し、給餌して、小腸形態の観察、大胸筋における過酸化物の定量、大胸筋におけるα−トコフェロール含量の定量、飼料摂取量の測定を行った。
小腸形態は、ストレスの影響を強く反映し、特に、絨毛の高さはストレスがかかることにより低くなり、また、陰窩はストレスがかかることにより深くなることが知られている。また、陰窩の深さに対する絨毛の高さの比率が高い状態では、代謝が良くなることが知られている。
Claims (4)
- EFB由来のポリフェノール、EFB由来のα−トコフェロール及びEFB由来のキシロース類のうちの少なくとも1又は2種以上を含有することを特徴とする飼料用添加材。
- EFB由来のポリフェノール、EFB由来のα−トコフェロール、及びEFB由来のキシロース類の3種を少なくとも含有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の飼料用添加材。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の飼料用添加材を、飼料用配合材に、ドライベースで0.05〜20重量%の範囲で添加してなることを特徴とする飼料。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の飼料用添加材を、飼料用配合材に、ドライベースで0.05〜20重量%の範囲で添加することを特徴とする飼料の製造方法。
