Description
補助機器が、ターボチャージャユニットの流入口または流出口に、近接するが接触することはないように配置された流出口または流入口を有し、
ユニットが更に、弾力的に変形可能で、それぞれが補助機器の流出口または流入口、およびターボチャージャユニットの流入口または流出口に密封状態で結合される対向端部を有する円筒形シール部材を備えた内燃エンジン用のユニットに関する。
補助機器をエンジンに取り付ける手段が、エンジンに取り付けられ、補助機器の前面に固定され、その内方で流出口または流入口が終端する壁部を有するブラケットを備え、
ターボチャージャユニットの流入口または流出口が、円筒形接続金具の形であり、
円筒形シール部材が、ターボチャージャユニットの円筒形接続金具に嵌合する第1端部と、固定ブラケットの壁部にある開口を介する隙間に挿入され、かつ、前記壁部と補助機器の前面との間に押圧される環状フランジで終端する第2端部とを有することを特徴とする。

Claims (7)
- エンジンに取り付けられるターボチャージャユニット(1)と、
前記ターボチャージャユニット(1)に近接する本体を有し、前記ターボチャージャユニット(1)から独立して前記エンジンに取り付けるための手段(7)を設けられたエンジン用の補助機器(2)と、
を備えた内燃エンジン用のユニットであって、
前記補助機器(2)が、前記ターボチャージャユニットの流入口または流出口(6)に、近接するが接触することはないように配置された流出口または流入口(5)を有し、
前記ユニットが更に、弾力的に変形可能で、それぞれが前記補助機器(2)の流出口または流入口(5)、および前記ターボチャージャユニット(1)の流入口または流出口(6)に密封状態で結合される対向端部(12a、12b)を有する円筒形シール部材(12)を備えた内燃エンジン用のユニットにおいて、
前記補助機器(2)を前記エンジンに取り付ける前記手段が、前記エンジンに取り付けられ、前記補助機器(2)の前面(11)に固定され、その内方で前記流出口または流入口(5)が終端する壁部(7b)を有するブラケット(7)を備え、
前記ターボチャージャユニットの流入口または流出口(6)が、円筒形接続金具(6)の形であり、
前記円筒形シール部材(12)が、前記ターボチャージャユニット(1)の円筒形接続金具(6)に嵌合する第1端部と、前記固定ブラケット(7)の壁部(7b)にある開口(13)を介する隙間に挿入され、かつ、前記壁部(7b)と前記補助機器の前面(11)との間に押圧される環状フランジ(12b)で終端する第2端部(12b)とを有することを特徴とする内燃エンジン用のユニット。 - 前記円筒形シール部材(12)が、前記補助機器(2)の流出口または流入口(5)と前記ターボチャージャユニット(1)の接続金具(6)との間の相互の軸方向および径方向の移動を可能とするのに必要とされる円筒形シール部材(12)の変形を円滑にする弓形の中間部(12c)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃エンジン用のユニット。
- 前記円筒形シール部材(12)の環状フランジ(12b)が、前記補助機器(2)の前述した前面(11)に係合する、凹凸形状を有する面を備えたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃エンジン用のユニット。
- 前記凹凸形状が、前記フランジ(12b)の前面に設けられた複数の同心環状溝により規定されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃エンジン用のユニット。
- 前記円筒形シール部材(12)の第1端部(12a)と、前記ターボチャージャユニット(1)の流入口または流出口を規定する前記円筒形接続金具(6)の外面とが、互いに係合する形作られた面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃エンジン用のユニット。
- 前記形作られた面は、前記円筒形シール部材(12)の端部(12a)の内面に形成された環状の周縁リブと、前記円筒形接続金具(6)の外面に形成された対応する環状溝により規定されたことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の内燃エンジン用のユニット。
- 金属スプリットリング(14)が、前記円筒形シール部材(12)の第1端部(12a)の外面にある環状溝に弾力的に嵌合していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃エンジン用のユニット。
