Claims (2)
- オーディオ信号を処理する方法であって、
ダウンミックス信号と、マルチチャンネルオーディオ信号の生成のための補助信号と、拡張信号と、前記補助信号内にヘッダが含まれているかを示すヘッダ識別情報とを受信する段階であって、前記拡張信号は、前記補助信号の拡張領域に含まれている、段階と、
前記ヘッダ識別情報が、前記ヘッダが前記補助信号に含まれていることを示しているとき、前記ヘッダから長さ情報の値を抽出する段階であって、前記長さ情報の前記抽出された値は前記拡張信号から第1長さ情報に割り当てられた数のビットを読んだ該第1長さ情報の値に等しく設定される、段階と、
前記長さ情報の値が所定の第1値に等しいとき、前記ヘッダから前記長さ情報の第1の新しい値を抽出する段階であって、前記第1の新しい値は、前記長さ情報の値に前記拡張信号から追加的に第2長さ情報に割り当てられた数のビットを読んだ該第2長さ情報の値を加えた値に等しく設定される、段階と、
前記長さ情報の前記第1の新しい値が所定の第2値に等しいとき、前記ヘッダから前記長さ情報の第2の新しい値を抽出する段階であって、前記第2の新しい値は前記長さ情報の前記第1の新しい値に前記拡張信号から追加的に第3長さ情報に割り当てられた数のビットを読んだ該第3長さ情報の値を加えた値に等しく設定される段階と、
前記長さ情報の値又は前記長さ情報の前記第1の新しい値に基づいて、前記拡張信号のビットフィールドのデコーディングを省略する段階と、
前記補助信号を前記ダウンミックス信号に適用して前記マルチチャンネルオーディオ信号を生成する段階と、を有し、
前記第2長さ情報に割り当てられるビット数は、前記第1長さ情報に割り当てられるビット数より大きい、方法。 - オーディオ信号を処理する装置であって、
ダウンミックス信号と、マルチチャンネルオーディオ信号の生成のための補助信号と、該補助信号に含まれる拡張信号と、前記補助信号内にヘッダが含まれているかを示すヘッダ識別情報とを受信するように構成された逆多重化部であって、前記拡張信号は、前記補助信号の拡張領域に含まれている、逆多重化部と、
前記ヘッダ識別情報が、前記ヘッダが前記補助信号に含まれていることを示しているとき、前記ヘッダから長さ情報の値を抽出し、前記長さ情報の前記抽出された値は前記拡張信号から第1長さ情報に割り当てられた数のビットを読んだ該第1長さ情報の値に等しく設定され、前記長さ情報の値が所定の第1値に等しいとき、前記ヘッダから前記長さ情報の第1の新しい値を抽出し、前記第1の新しい値は、前記長さ情報の値に前記拡張信号から追加的に第2長さ情報に割り当てられた数のビットを読んだ該第2長さ情報の値を加えた値に等しく設定され、前記長さ情報の前記第1の新しい値が所定の第2値に等しいとき、前記ヘッダから前記長さ情報の第2の新しい値を抽出し、前記第2の新しい値は前記長さ情報の前記第1の新しい値に前記拡張信号から追加的に第3長さ情報に割り当てられた数のビットを読んだ該第3長さ情報の値を加えた値に等しく設定されるように構成された拡張信号長さ読取部と、
前記長さ情報の値又は前記長さ情報の前記第1の新しい値に基づいて、前記拡張信号のビットフィールドのデコーディングを省略するように構成された選択的デコーディング部と、
前記補助信号を前記ダウンミックス信号に適用して前記マルチチャンネルオーディオ信号を生成するように構成されたアップミキシング部と、を備え、
前記第2長さ情報に割り当てられるビット数は、前記第1長さ情報に割り当てられるビット数より大きい、装置。
