Description
Claims (29)
- 細長い脊椎ロッドに結合されるように形成された組立体であって、この組立体が、
本体であって、本体は長手軸線に沿って細長く形成され、本体は上部開口部を備えた上端と、下部開口部を備えた下端とを有し、本体は長手軸線に沿って細長く形成され、且つ上部開口部と下部開口部との間に配置されたボアを有し、ボアは上部開口部に近接した第1の直径を形成し、ボアは上端から下端へ延びるロッド受入れ通路をさらに形成し、ロッド受入れ通路は長手軸線に対して実質的に垂直に指向された通路軸線に沿って配置され、ボアは、本体の下縁部分によって少なくとも部分的に形成され、下縁部分は、下端に近接して配置された第1の球形のアンダーカットを有し、ボアは、本体の直径拡大部分によって少なくとも部分的に形成され、直径拡大部分は、第2の球形のアンダーカットを有し、第2の球形のアンダーカットは、第1の球形のアンダーカットから上端に向けて間隔をあけて配置され、ボアは、下縁部分において第2の直径を有し、ボアは、直径拡大部分において第3の直径を有し、第3の直径は、第1の直径に比べて大きく、第1の直径は、第2の直径に比べて大きくなっている、上記本体と、
コレットであって、コレットは、骨アンカーの頭部を受け入れるようにサイズ合わせされたキャビティを形成し、且つ骨アンカーの頭部を受け入れるために拡張可能にされ且つコレットに対して骨アンカーの頭部を固定するために圧縮可能にされた拡張可能部分を有し、コレットは、拡張可能部分が直径拡大部分に近接して配置され、骨アンカーの頭部をキャビティ内に移動できる装填位置と、拡張可能部分の少なくとも一部が第1の球形のアンダーカットの少なくとも一部分に線状に接触し、拡張可能部分が、骨アンカーの頭部がキャビティ内を移動できないように骨アンカーの頭部に対して圧縮されるロック位置との間でボア内を移動するように形成されている上記コレットと、
を備えていることを特徴とする組立体。 - 骨アンカーをさらに備え、骨アンカーの頭部部分は、骨アンカーを第1の外科器具に連結させるように、第1の外科器具と係合するように形成された第1のツール連結部分と、骨アンカーを第2の外科器具に連結させるように第2の外科器具と係合するように形成された第2のツール連結部分とを備えた拡大した曲面状の頭部部分であり、第1及び第2のツール連結部分は、頭部連結部分キャビティに配置されている、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 第1のツール連結部分は、骨アンカーの頭部部分に形成された内面である駆動面を備え、駆動面が第1の外科器具に形成された外部チップを受け入れるように形成され、第2のツール連結部分は、骨アンカーの頭部部分に形成された複数のねじ溝であり、複数のねじ溝は、第2の外科器具の一部と螺合するように形成されている請求項2に記載の組立体。
- 第2のツール連結部分は、第2のツール連結部分が第1のツール連結部分へのアクセスを妨げないように第1のツール連結部分に近接して配置されている請求項2に記載の組立体。
- 第2の外科器具をさらに備え、第2の外科器具は、圧縮機、ディストラクタ、ねじ回し、スリーブ、最小限の侵襲性の器具、骨のオーグメンテーションツール、吸引ツール、リダクションツール、冠状回転ツール、組織開創器、脊柱後弯又は脊柱前弯修正ツールのうちの1つから選択される請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 第1の球形のアンダーカットは、第1の曲率半径を有し、可撓性アームの外側曲面状凸面は、第2の曲率半径を有し、第1の曲率半径は第2の曲率半径と相違している請求項1に記載の組立体。
- コレットは、外面と、外面上の一対の長手方向溝部とを有し、本体は、ボアの中へ延びる一対の窪みを有し、各々の窪みが、本体をコレットに結合させるように、長手方向溝部のうち1つの内に配置されるように形成されている、請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 組み立てられた形態において、コレットが、上部開口部を通り抜けるのを防止するように、上端と第2のアンダーカットとの間のボアの中に延びているコレット保持特徴部をさらに備える請求項1に記載の組立体。
- コレット保持特徴部は、装填位置においてコレットの溝部の底部端に接触し、拡張可能部分を第2の球形のアンダーカットに整列させる請求項8に記載の組立体。
- 本体は、その内部に形成された1又は2つ以上の部分通路を有し、いったんコレットが本体のボアの内部に受け入れられると、1又は2つ以上の部分通路に力が加えられ、それにより、1又は2つ以上の部分通路を、本体のボアの中に延びる1又は2つ以上の窪み内に変形させ、1又は2つ以上の窪みがコレット保持特徴部を備えている請求項8に記載の組立体。
- 本体は1又は2つ以上の窪みを有し、1又は2つ以上の窪みは、コレットと相互作用し、コレットが、本体に形成された上部開口部を通して戻るように動くことを禁止する請求項10に記載の組立体。
- 上記組立体が、さらに、
本体に着脱可能に係合可能なロックキャップであって、ロックキャップは、非ロック位置からロック位置へと可動になっており、ロックキャップが非ロック位置からロック位置へ移動することによって、コレットが装填位置からロック位置へと移動する、上記ロックキャップ、
を備えている請求項11に記載の組立体。 - 拡張可能部分が、互いに向かって及び互いから離れて移動するように形成された複数の可撓性アームを有する請求項1に記載の組立体。
- コレットが、コレット本体を有し、コレット本体は、第1端部と、第1端部と反対の位置にある第2端部と、可撓性アームを形成するようにコレット本体を通って延びる少なくとも2つのスロットであって、少なくとも2つのスロットは、第2端部から第1反部に向かう方向に沿って細長く形成されている、少なくとも2つのスロットと、を形成している請求項13に記載の組立体。
- 少なくとも1つの可撓性アームが、コレットがロック位置にあるとき、第1の球形のアンダーカットの少なくとも一部分に線状に接触するように形成されている外側曲面状凸面を形成している請求項14に記載の組立体。
- 外側曲面状凸面は、ほぼ球形の形状を有している請求項15に記載の組立体。
- 第2の球形のアンダーカットは第1の球形のアンダーカットに隣接して配置されている請求項1に記載の組立体。
- 第1の内曲面は長手方向軸線に対して曲げられ、且つ第1の曲率半径を有し、第2の内曲面は長手方向軸線に対して曲げられ、且つ第1の曲率半径よりも大きい第2の曲率半径を有している請求項1に記載の組立体。

本体であって、本体は長手軸線に沿って細長く形成され、本体は上部開口部を備えた上端と、下部開口部を備えた下端とを有し、本体は長手軸線に沿って細長く形成され、且つ上部開口部と下部開口部との間に配置されたボアを有し、ボアは上部開口部に近接した第1の直径を形成し、ボアは上端から下端へ延びるロッド受入れ通路をさらに形成し、ロッド受入れ通路は長手軸線に対して実質的に垂直に指向された通路軸線に沿って配置され、ボアは、本体の下縁部分によって少なくとも部分的に形成され、ボアは、本体の下端から上端に向かって間隔をあけて配置された本体の直径拡大部分によって少なくとも部分的に形成され、ボアは、下縁部分における第2の直径及び直径拡大部分における第3の直径を有し、第3の直径は、第1の直径に比べて大きく、第1の直径は、第2の直径に比べて大きくなっている、上記本体と、
コレットであって、コレットは、上端部と、上端部からコレット長手方向軸線に沿って間隔をあけて配置された下端部と、上端部からコレット長手方向軸線に沿って下端部まで延びるコレットボアとを形成し、コレットボアは、骨アンカーの頭部を受け入れるようにサイズ合わせされたキャビティを少なくとも部分的に形成し、コレットは、下部コレット端部に近接して配置された拡張可能部分を有し、拡張可能部分は、骨アンカーの頭部を受け入れるために拡張可能にされ且つコレットに対して骨アンカーの頭部を固定するために圧縮可能にされ、コレットは、拡張可能部分が直径拡大部分に近接して配置され、骨アンカーの頭部をキャビティ内に移動できる装填位置と、拡張可能部分の一部が本体の下縁部分の少なくとも一部分に線状に接触し、さらに、拡張可能部分が、骨アンカーの頭部がキャビティ内を移動できないように骨アンカーの頭部に対して圧縮される、ロック位置との間でボア内を移動するように形成されている上記コレットと、
を備えていることを特徴とする組立体。 - 本体は、本体の長手方向軸線から間隔をあけて配置された内面を形成し、この内面は、ボアを形成し、内面は、本体の下縁部分での第1の球形のアンダーカットと、本体の直径拡大部分において配置された第2の球形のアンダーカットを有し、第2の球形のアンダーカットは第1の球形のアンダーカットから上端に向かって間隔をあけて配置されている請求項19に記載の組立体。
- 第1の球形のアンダーカットは、長手方向軸線に対して曲げられ、且つ第1の曲率半径を有し、第2の球形のアンダーカットは長手方向軸線に対して曲げられ、且つ第1の曲率半径よりも大きい第2の曲率半径を有している請求項20に記載の組立体。
- 組立体が、さらに、本体に着脱可能に係合可能なロックキャップであって、ロックキャップは、非ロック位置からロック位置へと可動になっており、非ロック位置からロック位置へのロックキャップの移動によって、コレットを装填位置からロック位置へと移動する、上記ロックキャップ、を備えている請求項19に記載の組立体。
- ロックキャップが、本体の上端に着脱可能に係合可能である請求項22に記載の組立体。
- コレットが、上端と下端との間に延びるコレット本体を有し、コレット本体は、可撓性アームを形成するようにコレット本体を通って延びる少なくとも2つのスロットを形成し、少なくとも2つのスロットは、下端から上端に向かう方向に沿って細長く形成されている請求項19に記載の組立体。
- 少なくとも1つの可撓性アームが、終端部を形成し、可撓性アームの終端部が、コレットがロック位置にあるとき、本体の近位端の部分に接触するように形成されている請求項24に記載の組立体。
- コレット本体が、ほぼ球形の形状を有している外側凸面を形成している請求項25に記載の組立体。
- コレットが、上部コレット端においてロッドを受け入れるように配置されたロッド座部を形成している請求項19に記載の組立体。
- 骨アンカーをさらに備え、骨アンカーの頭部部分は、骨アンカーを第1の外科器具に連結させるように、第1の外科器具と係合するように形成された第1のツール連結部分と、骨アンカーを第2の外科器具に連結させるように第2の外科器具と係合するように形成された第2のツール連結部分とを備えた拡大した曲面状の頭部部分であり、第1及び第2のツール連結部分は、頭部連結部分キャビティに配置されている、請求項19に記載の組立体。
- 第1の外科器具及び第2の外科器具は、本体のボア及びコレットのボアを通って挿入され、骨アンカーの頭部部分と係合するように形成されている、請求項28に記載の組立体。
