Description
ナノ技術は、科学と工学の原理を用いてナノメータスケールの大きさの材料または構造を作っている新興の分野である。現在研究されているいくつかのナノ構造は、量子ドットおよび量子細線、ナノスケールの自己組織化体および薄膜、ナノ結晶、ナノチューブ、ナノワイヤー、ナノロッド、ナノ発泡体、ナノ粒子、及びナノ繊維を含んでいる。ナノスケール材料は、マクロ材料に比べて、独特で独自の特性側面を示すことができる。これらの材料によって示される、物理的な、化学的な、また生物学的な特性、例えば独特の形状、配向性、表面化学、形態(topology)および反応性は、それらの小さな寸法に由来している。これらの材料特性は、これらの材料の、独特の電気的、光学的、磁気的、機械的、熱的および生物学的特性に言い換えることができる。
本開示はとりわけ、溶融押出の間に、反応押出過程を通してハイブリッドポリマーを造る方法を提供する。この方法で生成されたハイブリッドポリマーは、反応押出過程中に、ポリマーからのゾルゲル調製品の分離を妨げるように、ポリマーを通じて分散し、またポリマーに共有結合しているゾルゲル調製品を含んでいる。本開示の、結果として得られるハイブリッドポリマーは、高められた衝撃強度、および引張強度を有し、一方でポリマーの弾性率および結晶性への影響を最小限に抑えている。

Claims (12)
- 溶融押出過程の中で環状無水物グラフトポリマーとゾルゲル調製品を反応する方法によって得られるハイブリッドポリマーであって、ゾルゲル調製品を環状無水物グラフトポリマーに共有結合で結合する溶融押出過程の間に、ゾルゲル調製品が環状無水物グラフトポリマーを通じて分散され、
前記環状無水物グラフトポリマーが、無水マレイン酸グラフトポリエチレン-オクテンエラストマー(POE-g-MAH)であり、
ゾルゲル調製品が、テトラエトキシシラン、チタンイソプロポキシド、チタン(IV)n−ブトキシド、チタン(IV)t−ブトキシド、チタン(IV)エトキシド、タンタル(V)エトキシド、タンタル(V)メトキシド、およびタンタル(V)トリフルオロエトキシド、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれた化合物からゾルゲル反応を通して調製され、
前記環状無水物グラフトポリマーとゾルゲル調製品の質量比がPOE-g-MAH:ゾルゲル調製品=1.3:1〜4.3:1である、前記ハイブリッドポリマー。 - 環状無水物グラフトポリマーが、ハイブリッドポリマーの全質量に対し0.1〜20.0質量%の環状無水物を60〜95質量%の有機ポリマーにグラフトすることにより調製される請求項1記載のハイブリッドポリマー。
- 環状無水物グラフトポリマーとゾルゲル調製品を反応する方法が、溶融押出過程の1回の通過の中で行われる、請求項1記載のハイブリッドポリマー。
- 前記の方法が、ゾルゲル調製品の環状無水物グラフトポリマーへの共有結合を促進するために、フリーラジカル開始剤を溶融押出過程中に注入することを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のハイブリッドポリマー。
- 環状無水物グラフトポリマーとゾルゲル調製品の反応が、溶媒の不存在下で行われる、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のハイブリッドポリマー。
- ゾルゲル調製品がカーボンナノチューブを含む請求項1〜3のいずれか1項記載のハイブリッドポリマー。
- ハイブリッドポリマーの調製方法であって、
環状無水グラフトポリマーを溶融押出過程の中で溶融する工程、および
溶融押出過程の中でゾルゲル調製品を環状無水グラフトポリマーに加える工程であって、ゾルゲル調製品は、ゾルゲル調製品を環状無水グラフトポリマーに共有結合で結合する溶融押出過程の間に、環状無水グラフトポリマーを通じて分散される工程、を含む方法であって、前記環状無水物グラフトポリマーが、無水マレイン酸グラフトポリエチレン-オクテンエラストマー(POE-g-MAH)であり、
ゾルゲル調製品が、テトラエトキシシラン、チタンイソプロポキシド、チタン(IV)n−ブトキシド、チタン(IV)t−ブトキシド、チタン(IV)エトキシド、タンタル(V)エトキシド、タンタル(V)メトキシド、およびタンタル(V)トリフルオロエトキシド、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれた化合物からゾルゲル反応を通して調製され、

- ハイブリッドポリマーの調製が、溶融押出過程の1回の通過の中で行われる請求項7〜11のいずれか1項記載の方法。
