・強酸(全溶液のpHを長期間2付近あるいはそれより低く下げる)あるいは強アルカリ(全溶液のpHを長期間12付近あるいはそれより高く上げる)への化学物質暴露による殺菌
・高イオン強度溶液による殺菌
・加熱殺菌
・物理的な切り刻み
・エアキャップあるいは他の空気導入なしの高圧および低圧間の周期変動
・殺菌の速度を増大させるために化学殺菌混合物に圧力を加える
・爆発的減圧を発生させるために熱および/または蒸気を用いて高固形廃棄物にさっと通し、その後剪断加工すること
・オゾン、過酸化物、および他の強酸化剤
・スラッジは、水および/または廃水処理工程から生じる。

・水性媒体は、ガスでほぼ飽和しており、ガスは、とりわけ空気、酸素、あるいは窒素のいずれか1つであるのがよい。
Claims (9)
- 微生物を含有する水性媒体を処理するための装置であって、
微生物を含有する水性媒体を受け入れるための入口と、
水性媒体に含有された微生物の細胞壁破壊の有効性を高めるために、水性媒体の所望のガス飽和レベルを引き起こすための、ガスインジェクターと、
ケーシングと、前記ケーシング中に配置されたインペラーを有する少なくとも1つのポンプを含む、前記所望のガス飽和レベルを有する水性媒体を前記入口を介して受け入れて、前記水性媒体に加速度を加えて前記水性媒体に含有された微生物の細胞壁を破壊するための差圧インデューサと、
破壊された微生物細胞壁およびその細胞内成分を含有する処理された水性媒体を排出するための出口を含み、
微生物の破壊された細胞壁を含有する処理された水性媒体は、少なくとも廃棄あるいは再循環される、
ことを特徴とする装置。 - 差圧インデューサは、多段形態の複数のポンプを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 水性媒体を差圧インデューサに供給する前に水性媒体のガス飽和レベルを増大させる飽和レベル調節器を更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 飽和レベル調節器は、加圧および減圧サイクルにさらされるように、圧力源と関連したタンクを有し、タンクは、水性媒体のガス飽和レベルを増大させるために、微生物を含有する水性媒体を加圧および減圧サイクルに曝すように、微生物を含有する水性媒体を受け入れる、請求項3に記載の装置。
- 処理された水性媒体のガス容量を増大させるための、出口と関連したガスインジェクターを更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 出口と関連した生物反応器を更に含み、破壊された微生物細胞を含有する処理された水性媒体の少なくとも一部分が、生物反応器に差し向けられる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 微生物を含有する水性媒体を処理のための差圧インデューサに供給するように入口と関連した生物反応器を更に含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 微生物を含有する水性媒体の比較的液体部分から、微生物を含有する水性媒体の比較的固形物部分を分離するための、入口と関連した浄化器を更に含み、浄化器は、その後、微生物を含有する水性媒体の比較的固形物部分を差圧インデューサに供給する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 差圧インデューサは、水性媒体の一部分を水性媒体の音速あるいは音速より大きい速度に曝す、請求項1に記載の装置。
