Description
本願は、2004年3月9日に出願された米国特許出願第10/796,262号の優先権主張出願である。
略矩形の流体貯蔵タンクであって、
該流体貯蔵タンクは、長さ、幅、高さ、第1の端部、第2の端部、第1の側部、第2の側部、頂部及び底部を有し、
前記流体貯蔵タンクは、
(a)内部フレーム構造体を有し、該フレーム構造体は、
(1)前記流体貯蔵タンクの内側に位置する内方側部と外方側部とを備えた複数個の第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームを有し、該第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームは、前記流体貯蔵タンクの幅及び高さに沿って延び且つ前記流体貯蔵タンクの長さに沿って互いに間隔をおいて設けられ、
(2)前記流体貯蔵タンクの幅及び高さに沿って延び且つ前記流体貯蔵タンクの長さに沿って互いに間隔をおいて設けられた第1の複数個のトラス構造体を有し、該第1のトラス構造体の各々が、(i)前記第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの1つに対応し、(ii)1つの前記第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの平面内で該第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの内側に配置され、これにより、前記第1の複数個のトラス構造体が前記第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部を支持し、
(3)前記流体貯蔵タンクの内側に位置する内方側部と外方側部とを備えた複数個の第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームを有し、前記第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームは、前記流体貯蔵タンクの高さ及び長さに沿って延び且つ前記流体貯蔵タンクの幅に沿って互いに間隔をおいて設けられ、
前記プレート状ガーダリングフレーム同士の交差部は、複数の取付け箇所を形成し、それにより1つの一体型の内部フレーム構造体を形成し、前記流体貯蔵タンクはさらに、
(b)前記内部フレーム構造体を包囲するプレート状カバーを有し、該プレート状カバーは、内方側部及び外方側部を有し、前記プレート状カバーの前記内方側部は、前記第1及び第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの外側に配置され、
前記第1および第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの全てが、該プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部に設けられたフランジを更に有し、
前記フランジは、前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの深さと協働して前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部に“T”形状を形成し、
前記深さは、前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部と外方側部の両方を含む平面内における前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部と外方側部との間の距離として定められ、
全ての前記第1および第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの深さは、1.5〜3.5メートルである、
ことを特徴とする流体貯蔵タンクが提供される。
極低温:約−40℃(−40°F)以下の温度
GBS:重力式構造物
重力式構造物:略矩形のハシケ状構造物
格子桁:ネットワーク又はフレーム LNG:約−162℃(−260°F)の低温状態にあり且つ略大気圧にある液化天然ガス
プレート又はプレート状カバー:(i)略一様な厚さの1つの略滑らかで且つ略平らな本体又は(ii)任意適当な接合法、例えば溶接により互いに接合された2つ以上の略滑らかで且つ略平らな本体であり、かかる略滑らかで且つ略平らな本体は各々、略一様な厚さのものである
Claims (15)
- 略矩形の流体貯蔵タンクであって、
該流体貯蔵タンクは、長さ、幅、高さ、第1の端部、第2の端部、第1の側部、第2の側部、頂部及び底部を有し、
前記流体貯蔵タンクは、
(a)内部フレーム構造体を有し、該フレーム構造体は、
(1)前記流体貯蔵タンクの内側に位置する内方側部と外方側部とを備えた複数個の第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームを有し、該第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームは、前記流体貯蔵タンクの幅及び高さに沿って延び且つ前記流体貯蔵タンクの長さに沿って互いに間隔をおいて設けられ、
(2)前記流体貯蔵タンクの幅及び高さに沿って延び且つ前記流体貯蔵タンクの長さに沿って互いに間隔をおいて設けられた第1の複数個のトラス構造体を有し、該第1のトラス構造体の各々が、(i)前記第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの1つに対応し、(ii)1つの前記第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの平面内で該第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの内側に配置され、これにより、前記第1の複数個のトラス構造体が前記第1のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部を支持し、
(3)前記流体貯蔵タンクの内側に位置する内方側部と外方側部とを備えた複数個の第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームを有し、前記第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームは、前記流体貯蔵タンクの高さ及び長さに沿って延び且つ前記流体貯蔵タンクの幅に沿って互いに間隔をおいて設けられ、
前記プレート状ガーダリングフレーム同士の交差部は、複数の取付け箇所を形成し、それにより1つの一体型の内部フレーム構造体を形成し、前記流体貯蔵タンクはさらに、
(b)前記内部フレーム構造体を包囲するプレート状カバーを有し、該プレート状カバーは、内方側部及び外方側部を有し、前記プレート状カバーの前記内方側部は、前記第1及び第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの外側に配置され、
前記第1および第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの全てが、該プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部に設けられたフランジを更に有し、
前記フランジは、前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの深さと協働して前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部に“T”形状を形成し、
前記深さは、前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部と外方側部の両方を含む平面内における前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部と外方側部との間の距離として定められ、
全ての前記第1および第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの深さは、1.5〜3.5メートルである、
ことを特徴とする流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記内部フレーム構造体(a)が、
(4)前記流体貯蔵タンクの高さ及び長さに沿って延び且つ前記流体貯蔵タンクの幅に沿って互いに間隔をおいて設けられた第2の複数個のトラス構造体を有し、該第2のトラス構造体の各々が、(i)前記第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの1つに対応し、(ii)1つの前記第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの平面内で該第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの内側に配置され、それにより、前記第2の複数個のトラス構造体が前記第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部を支持する、
請求項1に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記第1の複数個のトラス構造体と前記第2の複数個のトラス構造体が、前記交差部のところに共通の構造部材を共有することにより互いに交差し且つ連結されている、
請求項2に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記内部フレーム構造体(a)は、
(5)前記流体貯蔵タンクの内側に配置された内方側部と外方側部とを備えた複数個の第3のプレート状ガーダリングフレームを更に有し、前記第3のプレート状ガーダリングフレームは、前記流体貯蔵タンクの長さ及び幅に沿って延び且つ前記流体貯蔵タンクの高さに沿って互いに間隔をおいて設けられ、前記第3のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの全てが、該プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部に設けられたフランジを更に有し、前記フランジは、前記第3のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの深さと協働して前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの内方側部に“T”形状を形成し、全ての前記第3のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの深さは、1.5〜3.5メートルであり、前記第3のプレート状ガーダリングフレームと前記第1及び第2のプレート状ガーダリングフレームとの交差部が、複数の取付け箇所を形成し、それにより1つの一体型の内部フレーム構造体を形成している、
請求項3に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記第1、第2および第3のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの少なくとも1つが中実である、
請求項4に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記第1、第2および第3のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの少なくとも1つが孔を有する、
請求項4に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - (c)相互に連結され且つ略直交パターンで配置された複数本のスチフナ及びストリンガを更に有し、前記複数本のスチフナ及びストリンガは、内方側部及び外方側部を有し、前記スチフナ及びストリンガの外方側部は、前記プレート状カバーの内方側部に取り付けられ、前記プレート状カバーと、前記スチフナ及びストリンガの内方側部とが、前記プレート状ガーダリングフレームの外方側部に取り付けられている、
請求項6に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記プレート状カバーの厚さは、6〜13ミリメートルである、
請求項7に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記プレート状カバーは、複数枚の互いに接合された鋼板で構成されている、
請求項8に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記第1、第2および第3のプレート状ガーダリングフレームの少なくとも1つは、前記流体貯蔵タンクの前記高さの1〜10パーセントの深さを有する、
請求項8に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記流体貯蔵タンクは、100,000立方メートルより大きい内部流体貯蔵容量を有する、
請求項8に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記プレート状ガーダリングフレーム、前記トラス構造体及び前記プレート状カバーから選択された物品は、極低温材料で作られている、
請求項8に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記極低温材料は、ステンレス鋼、高ニッケル鋼合金、アルミニウム及びアルミニウム合金から選択されている、
請求項12に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記第1および第2のトラス構造体の少なくとも一方が、(i)閉鎖された外周部と協働して構造部材の格子桁を形成するよう互いに連結された複数個の細長い垂直支持体と複数個の細長い水平支持体の両方と、(ii)各前記トラス構造体を形成するよう互いに連結された細長い垂直支持体及び前記細長い水平支持体内で且つ該支持体相互間で固定された複数個の追加の支持部材とで構成されている、
請求項8に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。 - 前記第1の複数個のトラス構造体と前記第2の複数個のトラス構造体の前記交差及び連結部は、前記細長い垂直支持体の一部を含み、前記第1の複数個のトラス構造体と前記第2の複数個のトラス構造体の両方において細長い垂直支持体として機能する細長い垂直支持体を含む、
請求項14に記載の流体貯蔵タンク。
