Description
Claims (6)
- ターボ機械ハウジングと、
プロセス流体が漏れないように前記ターボ機械ハウジングに取り付けられた1次プロセスシールと、
前記1次プロセスシールの下流側に配置された2次プロセスシールと、
ギアボックスハウジングと、
潤滑油が漏れないように前記ギアボックスハウジングに取り付けられたギアボックスシールと、
前記2次プロセスシールおよび前記ギアボックスシールを通して前記ターボ機械ハウジングおよび前記ギアボックスハウジングへとポンピング媒体を通流させるように、前記2次プロセスシールおよび前記ギアボックスシールに接続された流体供給源と、
前記2次プロセスシールと前記1次プロセスシールとの間の1次ベント領域に接続されたフレアシステムと、
を備え、
前記ギアボックスシールおよび前記2次プロセスシールは反転され、ベント領域が、前記流体供給源の入口へと転換されることを特徴とするプロセス流体輸送システム。 - 前記ターボ機械ハウジングは、プロセス流体を輸送するインペラを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプロセス流体輸送システム。
- 前記流体供給源は、不活性ガスを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプロセス流体輸送システム。
- 逆ポンピング作用をもたらすプロセス流体輸送システムを改装する方法であって、
潤滑油を漏れさせないギアボックスシールと、プロセス流体を漏れさせない2次プロセスシールとを反転し、
ベント領域を流体供給源の入口へと転換し、
前記1次プロセスシールの下流側の2次プロセスシールと、前記ギアボックスシールとを通してターボ機械ハウジングおよびギアボックスハウジングへとポンピング媒体を通流させるように、前記2次プロセスシールおよび前記ギアボックスシールを通して前記ポンピング媒体を供給し、
前記2次プロセスシールと前記1次プロセスシールとの間の1次ベント領域からのプロセス流体を燃焼することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ポンピング媒体として不活性ガスを通流させることをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記ポンピング媒体として空気を通流させることをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
