Claims (21)
- 複数の固体発光デバイスを含むバックライトユニットを制御する方法であって、
前記バックライトユニットの色度点を要求色度点に設定するための要求を受け取ることと、
前記要求色度点が、前記バックライトユニットの実際の色域よりも小さい色度点の許容範囲の内であるかどうかを決定することと、
前記要求色度点が前記許容範囲の外であることに応じて、前記許容範囲内である修正色度点を前記要求色度点に応じて選択することと、
前記バックライトユニットの色度点を前記修正色度点に設定することと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記許容範囲は、二次元色空間を参照して定義されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記許容範囲は、前記二次元色空間内の矩形として定義されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記色空間は、1931CIE色度図によって表され、前記許容範囲は、座標(x、y)を有する色度点として定義され、ただしxlim1≦x≦xlim2およびylim1≦y≦ylim2であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 0.26≦x≦0.38および0.26≦y≦0.38であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記要求色度点のx−座標がx−座標の許容範囲内に入るかどうかを決定することと、
前記要求色度点の前記x−座標がx−座標の前記許容範囲内に入らない場合、許容可能なx−座標の前記範囲内で前記要求色度点のx−座標に最も近いx−座標として前記修正色度点のx−座標を設定することと
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記要求色度点のy−座標がy−座標の許容範囲内に入るかどうかを決定することと、
前記要求色度点の前記y−座標がy−座標の前記許容範囲内に入らない場合、許容可能なy−座標の前記範囲内で前記要求色度点のy−座標に最も近いy−座標として、前記修正色度点のy−座標を設定することとをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記許容範囲は、参照色度点から距離r内の色度点を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記修正色度点を選択することは、前記修正色度点と前記参照色度点の間の線に沿って、前記許容範囲内に入るまで前記要求色度点を変換することを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記許容範囲は、規則的なまたは不規則な多角形によって記述される領域内に入る色度点を含むとして定義されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記修正色度点を選択することは、前記多角形の表面上の最近接点の方へ、前記許容範囲内に入るまで前記要求色度点を変換することを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記修正色度点を選択することは、参照色度点の方へ、前記許容範囲内に入るまで前記要求色度点を変換することを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記許容範囲は、黒体放射曲線から前もって決定された距離内である色度点として定義されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記修正色度点を選択することは、前記黒体放射曲線上の最近接点の方へ、前記許容範囲内に入るまで前記要求色度点を変換することを含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記修正色度点を選択することは、参照色度点の方へ、前記許容範囲内に入るまで前記要求色度点を変換することを含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- 固体バックライトユニットであって、
複数の固体発光デバイスを含む照明パネルと、
前記固体発光デバイスの光出力を制御し、前記照明パネルに対する要求色度点を受け取り、前記要求色度点が前記バックライトユニットの実際の色域よりも小さい色度点の許容範囲の内であるかどうかを決定し、前記要求色度点が前記許容範囲の外であることに応じて、前記許容範囲内である修正色度点を選択し、および前記バックライトユニットの色度点を前記修正色度点に設定するように構成されたコントローラと
を含むことを特徴とする固体バックライトユニット。 - 前記照明パネルの光出力を測定し、前記光出力測定値を閉ループ制御システム内の前記コントローラに提供するように構成された光センサーをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の固体バックライトユニット。
- 前記許容範囲は、二次元色空間内の円形および/または多角形を含むように定義されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の固体バックライトユニット。
- 前記コントローラは、前記多角形および/または円形の最近接点の方へ、前記許容範囲内に入るまで前記要求色度点を変換することによって前記修正色度点を選択するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の固体バックライトユニット。
- 前記コントローラは、参照色度点の方へ、前記許容範囲内に入るまで前記要求色度点を変換することによって前記修正色度点を選択するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の固体バックライトユニット。
- 複数の固体発光デバイスを含むバックライトユニットを制御する方法であって、
前記バックライトユニットの色度点を要求色度点に設定するための要求を受け取ることと、
前記要求色度点が、前記バックライトユニットの実際の色域よりも小さい色度点の許容範囲内であるかどうかを決定することと、
前記要求色度点が前記許容範囲外であることに応じて、前記許容範囲内である修正色度点を前記要求色度点に応じて選択することと、
前記バックライトユニットの色度点を前記修正色度点に設定することと
を含み、前記許容範囲は、二次元色空間内の矩形によって定義されることを特徴とする方法。
