Description

前記第1の発光体は、前記第1の所定の色の光を吸収し、吸収した光を前記第1の所定の色とは異なる第2の所定の色の光に変換し、前記第1の発光体は、前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源から離して配置され、前記第1の光源は、該第1の光源によって前記光混合チェンバ内に放たれる光の一部である第1の相対光束により前記第1の発光体を照射するよう該第1の発光体に対して位置付けられ、前記第2の光源は、該第2の光源によって前記光混合チェンバ内に放たれる光の一部である第2の相対光束により前記第1の発光体を照射するよう該第1の発光体に対して位置付けられ、前記第1の相対光束は前記第二の相対光束と相違し、
当該色可変照明システムは、前記第1の発光体を照射する前記第1の所定の色の光束を変更するよう前記第2の光源によって放たれる光の強さに対して前記第1の光源によって放たれる光の強さを制御し、及び/又は前記第1の発光体に対する前記第2の光源の一部に対して前記第1の発光体に対する前記第1の光源の位置を制御するコントローラを更に有する。
前記第3の光源は、前記第1の所定の色の光を前記光混合チェンバ内に放つ少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを有し、前記第3の光源は、前記第3の発光体を直接的に照射するよう配置され、一方、前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源は、前記第3の発光体を直接的に照射することから遮蔽され、
前記第3の発光体は、前記第1の所定の色の光を吸収し、吸収した光を前記第1の所定の色及び前記第2の所定の色とは異なる第3の所定の色の光に変換する。この実施形態の利点は、第3の発光体の使用が、色可変照明システムによって放たれる光の色が調整される範囲を大きくすることである。例えば、第2の所定の色の光の付加は、色可変照明システムによって放たれる光(又はその一部)の色を青から黄にシフトしてよく、一方、第3の所定の色の光の付加は、色可変照明システムによって放たれる光(又はその一部)の色を緑から赤にシフトしてよい。他の実施形態で、第3の光源及び第3の発光体は、例えば、色空間における曲線である黒体軌跡(black body locus)に適切に従うべく色温度の変化を微調整するために使用されてよい。色空間における曲線に従うよう、相対強度を制御される3つの光源が必要とされる。
Claims (13)
- 光混合チェンバ内に配置される第1の光源、第2の光源、及び第1の発光体の層を有する色可変照明システムであって、
前記光混合チェンバは、該光混合チェンバから光を放つための光出口窓を有し、
前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源は夫々、少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを有し、第1の所定の色の光を前記光混合チェンバ内に放ち、
前記第1の発光体は、前記第1の所定の色の光を吸収し、吸収した光を前記第1の所定の色とは異なる第2の所定の色の光に変換し、前記第1の発光体は、前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源から離して配置され、前記第1の光源は、該第1の光源によって前記光混合チェンバ内に放たれる光の一部である第1の相対光束により前記第1の発光体を照射するよう該第1の発光体に対して位置付けられ、前記第2の光源は、該第2の光源によって前記光混合チェンバ内に放たれる光の一部である第2の相対光束により前記第1の発光体を照射するよう該第1の発光体に対して位置付けられ、前記第1の相対光束は前記第二の相対光束と相違し、
当該色可変照明システムは、前記第1の発光体を照射する前記第1の所定の色の光束を変更するよう前記第2の光源によって放たれる光の強さに対して前記第1の光源によって放たれる光の強さを制御し、及び/又は前記第1の発光体に対する前記第2の光源の位置に対して前記第1の発光体に対する前記第1の光源の位置を制御するコントローラを更に有する、色可変照明システム。 - 前記第1の光源は、前記第1の発光体を直接的に照射するよう配置され、
前記第2の光源は、前記第1の発光体を直接的に照射することから遮蔽される、請求項1に記載の色可変照明システム。 - 前記第2の光源が前記第1の発光体を照射することを遮るようダイクロイック・シールド手段が配置される、請求項2に記載の色可変照明システム。
- 前記光混合チェンバは、前記第1の所定の色の光を前記第1の所定の色及び前記第2の所定の色とは異なる更なる所定の色に変換する更なる発光体を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の色可変照明システム。
- 前記第1の所定の色は、400ナノメートルから490ナノメートルの間の範囲内にある、請求項1乃至4のうちいずれか一項に記載の色可変照明システム。
- 第3の光源及び第3の発光体を更に有し、
前記第3の光源は、前記第1の所定の色の光を前記光混合チェンバ内に放つ少なくとも1つの発光ダイオードを有し、前記第3の光源は、前記第3の発光体を直接的に照射するよう配置され、一方、前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源は、前記第3の発光体を直接的に照射することから遮蔽され、
前記第3の発光体は、前記第1の所定の色の光を吸収し、吸収した光を前記第1の所定の色及び前記第2の所定の色とは異なる第3の所定の色の光に変換する、請求項1乃至5のうちいずれか一項に記載の色可変照明システム。 - 前記第1の発光体及び/又は前記更なる発光体及び/又は前記第3の発光体は、リン光体の混合であるリン光体混合物を有し、
前記第1の発光体、前記更なる発光体及び/又は前記第3の発光体の各リン光体混合物は相違する、請求項1乃至6のうちいずれか一項に記載の色可変照明システム。 - 前記第1の光源及び/又は前記第2の光源は、複数の発光ダイオードの直列配置を有する、請求項1乃至5のうちいずれか一項に記載の色可変照明システム。
- 前記第1の光源の各発光ダイオードは、前記第1の発光体を直接的に照射するよう配置され、
前記第2の光源の各発光ダイオードは、前記第1の発光体を直接的に照射することから遮蔽される、請求項7に記載の色可変照明システム。 - 前記第1の光源の発光ダイオードは、前記第1の発光体を有する更なる光混合チェンバに又は前記第1の発光体を有する複数の更なる光混合チェンバに配置され、
前記更なる光混合チェンバ及び前記複数の更なる光混合チェンバは、前記光混合チェンバ内に配置される、請求項8又は9に記載の色可変照明システム。 - 前記更なる発光体を有する場合に、前記複数の発光ダイオードは、前記光混合チェンバの前記光出口窓を略一様に照射するよう配置され、前記更なる発光体は、前記光混合チェンバの前記光出口窓に配置される、請求項10に記載の色可変照明システム。
- 前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源は、前記光出口窓に隣接して前記光混合チェンバの端に配置され、
前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源の夫々は、前記第1の光源及び前記第2の光源による前記光出口窓の直接的な照射を避けるよう該光出口窓から離れて光を放つ、請求項1乃至5のうちいずれか一項に記載の色可変照明システム。 - 前記第1の所定の色は青色であり、
前記第1の発光体は、吸収した前記第1の所定の色の光を前記第2の所定の色である琥珀色の光に変換し、
前記更なる発光体は、吸収した前記第1の所定の色の光を前記更なる所定の色である黄色の光に変換する、請求項4又は5に記載の色可変照明システム。
