本発明の携帯端末は、前記第2のアクセスネットワークにアタッチした際、前記移動端末は前記第2のアクセスネットワークを使用してデータを受信するように構成されていることを前記エンティティに通知するアタッチ手段を更に備えてもよい。
本発明の携帯端末は、前記エンティティは、移動管理エンティティを備えてもよい。
本発明の携帯端末は、前記サービスには、音声サービスが含まれてもよい。
本発明の主たる1つの側面は、電力消費量を低減するため、スリープ状態と称する新しい状態を導入することである。本発明の例示的な一実施形態においては、電力消費量を低減するため、第1のアクセスネットワークへの、移動端末のインタフェース、をオフにする(デタッチ状態に似ている)が、後の時点でのサービスの起動を高速化するため、移動端末のいくつかのコンテキスト情報を依然としてネットワーク内に格納する(アイドル状態に似ている)。
Claims (8)
- 無線アクセス技術が異なる第1のアクセスネットワークと第2のアクセスネットワークを介してコアネットワークと通信を行うことができる移動端末であって、
前記移動端末が前記第2のアクセスネットワークにアタッチしているとき、前記第1のアクセスネットワーク経由でルーティングされるべきページング要求を、前記コアネットワークに属するエンティティから前記第2のアクセスネットワーク経由で受信する受信手段と、
前記ページング要求に応じて、前記エンティティが前記第2のアクセスネットワークと無線アクセス技術が異なる前記第1のアクセスネットワークを介してサービスを配信することを要求するメッセージを前記第2のアクセスネットワーク経由で前記エンティティに送信するサービス要求手段と、
前記エンティティから前記第2のアクセスネットワーク経由で送信された前記第1のアクセスネットワークへのハンドオーバコマンドを受信するコマンド受信手段と、
前記第1のアクセスネットワークと接続する接続手段と、
を有する移動端末。 - 前記受信手段が受信するページング要求は、前記第2のアクセスネットワーク経由に再ルーティングされたページング要求である請求項1に記載の移動端末。
- 前記第2のアクセスネットワークにアタッチした際、前記移動端末は前記第2のアクセスネットワークを使用してデータを受信するように構成されていることを前記エンティティに通知するアタッチ手段を更に備える、
請求項1に記載の移動端末。 - 前記エンティティは、移動管理エンティティを備える、
請求項1に記載の移動端末。 - 前記サービスには、音声サービスが含まれる請求項1に記載の移動端末。
- 無線アクセス技術が異なる第1のアクセスネットワークと第2のアクセスネットワークを介してコアネットワークと通信を行うことができる移動端末におけるアクセスネットワークへの接続方法であって、
前記移動端末が前記第2のアクセスネットワークにアタッチしているとき、前記第1のアクセスネットワーク経由でルーティングされるべきページング要求を、前記コアネットワークに属するエンティティから前記第2のアクセスネットワーク経由で受信する受信ステップと、
前記ページング要求に応じて、前記エンティティが前記第2のアクセスネットワークと無線アクセス技術が異なる前記第1のアクセスネットワークを介してサービスを配信することを要求するメッセージを前記第2のアクセスネットワーク経由で前記エンティティに送信するサービス要求ステップと、
前記エンティティから前記第2のアクセスネットワーク経由で送信された前記第1のアクセスネットワークへのハンドオーバコマンドを受信するコマンド受信ステップと、
前記第1のアクセスネットワークと接続する接続ステップと、
を有する接続方法。 - 前記第2のアクセスネットワークにアタッチした際、前記移動端末は前記第2のアクセスネットワークを使用してデータを受信するように構成されていることを前記エンティティに通知するアタッチステップを更に備える、
請求項6に記載の接続方法。 - 前記受信手段が受信するページング要求は、前記第2のアクセスネットワーク経由に再ルーティングされたページング要求である請求項6に記載の接続方法。
