Description
本発明は、例えば、以下を提供する。
(項目1)
物質を血管腔から除去するための装置であって、
上記血管内に挿入されるサイズのカテーテルシャフトであって圧力管腔および排除管腔を有するカテーテルシャフトと、
上記圧力管腔を通って流れる液体と、
上記圧力管腔から出る液体噴霧とを備え、上記圧力管腔内の上記液体が上記噴霧の上流で100PSI未満の最大圧力を有し、
上記液体噴霧によって切断または断片化された物質が上記排除管腔に容易に入ることができるように、上記液体噴霧が上記排除管腔内の開口部付近に位置した装置。
(項目2)
最大圧力は20から70PSIである、項目1に記載の装置。
(項目3)
上記最大圧力は30から50PSIである、項目1に記載の装置。
(項目4)
上記排除管腔内の50mmHg以上の真空をさらに含む、項目1に記載の装置。
(項目5)
上記圧力管腔は先細りのノズル部分をさらに備え、
上記液体噴霧は上記ノズル部分から出され、
上記ノズル部分および上記液体噴霧は上記カテーテルシャフトの内側部分に向けられる、項目3に記載の装置。
(項目6)
上記カテーテルシャフトは上記シャフトの側壁に開口部をさらに含み、
上記液体噴霧は上記開口部のそばを通り、上記開口部のそばを通る唯一の液体噴霧であり、
上記液体噴霧は上記カテーテルシャフトの内側部分に向けられる、項目3に記載の装置。
(項目7)
上記カテーテルシャフトは上記シャフトの側壁または先端部に開口部をさらに含み、
上記液体噴霧は、上記開口部のそばを通り、または上記開口部を通過し、上記開口部のそばを通りまたは上記開口部を通過する唯一の液体噴霧であり、
上記液体噴霧は上記圧力管腔から遠位に出る、項目3に記載の装置。
(項目8)
上記圧力管腔は、上記圧力管腔の近位部分と比較して縮小した管腔の断面積を有するノズル部分をさらに備え、
上記液体噴霧は上記ノズル部分から出され、
上記カテーテルシャフトは上記カテーテルシャフトの側壁に開口部をさらに含み、
上記液体噴霧は、上記開口部のそばを通り、上記シャフト内の他の側壁開口部のそばを通らない、項目3に記載の装置。
(項目9)
上記シャフト内での繰り返し液体圧力パターンをさらに含み、上記圧力パターンが(i)上記圧力管腔内の液体の正圧インパルスの繰り返し、および(ii)上記正圧インパルスと交互の上記排除管腔内の液体の負圧インパルスの繰り返しを含む、項目1に記載の装置。
(項目10)
上記正圧インパルスを上記圧力管腔内の上記液体に繰り返し与えるように構成された圧力源および上記負圧インパルスを上記排除管腔に繰り返し与えるように構成された吸引源をさらに備える、項目9に記載の装置。
(項目11)
上記圧力源は第1のポンプを備え、上記吸引源は第2のポンプを備える、項目10に記載の装置。
(項目12)
上記圧力管腔は概ね円形の出口ポートを有するノズル部分をさらに備える、項目1に記載の装置。
(項目13)
上記圧力管腔は平坦な形状の出口ポートを有するノズル部分をさらに備える、項目1に記載の装置。
(項目14)
液体を血管に挿入されるサイズの細長いシャフトの断片化管腔を通して100PSI以下の最大圧力で送出することと、
上記液体を液体噴霧として上記断片化管腔から出すことと、
上記液体噴霧の付近で、上記細長いシャフトの排除管腔を介して吸引を行うこととを含む方法。
(項目15)
上記送出は、上記液体を20〜70PSIの最大圧力で送出することを含む、項目14に記載の方法。
(項目16)
上記送出は、上記液体を30〜50PSIの最大圧力で送出することを含む、項目14に記載の方法。
(項目17)
上記吸引を行うことは、50mmHg以上の吸引を行うことを含む、項目14に記載の方法。
(項目18)
上記排除管腔を介した上記液体噴霧により断片化された物質を排除することをさらに含む、項目14に記載の方法。
Claims (9)
- 物質を血管腔から除去するための装置であって、
前記装置は、
前記血管内に挿入されるサイズのカテーテルシャフトであって、前記シャフトは、圧力管腔および排除管腔を有し、前記圧力管腔は、先細りのノズル部分をさらに含む、カテーテルシャフトと、
前記圧力管腔を通して液体を流すための液体源と、
前記排除管腔および前記圧力管腔に結合された駆動ユニットであって、
前記駆動ユニットは、
圧力ポンプと、
吸引ポンプと、
前記カテーテルシャフトにおいて正圧インパルスと負圧インパルスとの間で交互する繰り返し液体圧力パターンを生じさせるように、前記圧力ポンプおよび前記吸引ポンプを駆動するように構成された複式ピストンアクチュエータであって、前記負圧インパルスは、前記排除管腔において生じるように構成されており、前記正圧インパルスは、前記圧力管腔において生じるように構成されている、複式ピストンアクチュエータと
を含む、駆動ユニットと、
前記圧力管腔のノズルであって、前記ノズルは、前記ノズルの液体噴霧によって切断または断片化された物質が前記排除管腔に容易に入ることができるように、前記排除管腔の開口部付近に位置しており、前記圧力管腔は、前記ノズルの上流で30から50PSIの圧力の液体を前記ノズル部分から送出するように構成されており、前記ノズル部分および前記液体噴霧は、前記カテーテルシャフトの内側部分に向けられる、ノズルと
を含み、
前記液体噴霧によって切断または断片化された物質が前記排除管腔に容易に入ることができるように、前記液体噴霧が前記排除管腔内の開口部付近に位置しており、
前記複式ピストンアクチュエータは、物質が前記排除管腔において検出されるか、または、物質が前記排除管腔内の開口部において検出されるかに基づいて、正圧インパルスと負圧インパルスとの間で交互する速度を調整するように構成されている、装置。 - 前記排除管腔内の50mmHg以上の真空をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記カテーテルシャフトは前記シャフトの側壁に開口部をさらに含み、
前記液体噴霧は前記開口部のそばを通り、前記開口部のそばを通る唯一の液体噴霧である、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記カテーテルシャフトは前記シャフトの側壁または先端部に開口部をさらに含み、
前記液体噴霧は、前記開口部のそばを通り、または前記開口部を通過し、前記開口部のそばを通りまたは前記開口部を通過する唯一の液体噴霧であり、
前記液体噴霧は前記圧力管腔から遠位に出る、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ノズル部分は、前記圧力管腔の近位部分と比較して縮小した管腔の断面積を有し、
前記カテーテルシャフトは、前記カテーテルシャフトの側壁に開口部をさらに含み、
前記液体噴霧は、前記開口部のそばを通り、前記噴霧は、前記シャフト内の他の側壁開口部のそばを通らない、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記ノズル部分は、概ね円形の出口ポートを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ノズル部分は、平坦な形状の出口ポートを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記液体源から前記圧力ポンプまでの一方向のみの流れを可能にする、前記液体源と前記圧力ポンプとの間に位置した第1の逆止弁をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記吸引ポンプから廃棄物容器までの一方向のみの流れを可能にする、前記廃棄物容器と前記吸引ポンプとの間に位置した第2の逆止弁をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の装置。
