Description
Claims (14)
- 膝関節置換手術における、大腿骨の先端部の切断厚さおよび後端部の切断厚さを決定するシステムであって、
少なくとも一つの大腿部インプラントのサイズおよび形状に関するデータを保持するためのコンピュータメモリ、
伸長状態における前記大腿骨と前記頸骨切断により形成された頸骨プラトー間の伸長ギャップを測定するとともに、屈曲状態における前記大腿骨と前記頸骨切断により形成された頸骨プラトー間の屈曲ギャップを測定し、測定データを生成するためのギャップ測定モジュール、
前記測定データを受け、前記伸長ギャップならびに前記屈曲ギャップを用い、大腿部インプラントの先端部の厚さおよび後端部の厚さを考慮して、大腿骨において切断されるべき先端部の切断厚さおよび後端部の切断厚さを演算するための切断厚さ演算モジュール、
前記測定データおよび前記演算モジュールより演算された演算データを出力すためのる出力装置、
を備えたシステム。 - 請求項1で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記ギャップ測定モジュールは、
前記出力装置上での表示のため、基準座標システムに、前記大腿骨および脛骨を登録する登録モジュール、および
前記基準座標システムにおける前記大腿骨および前記脛骨の動きを追跡する追跡装置を備えたことを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1または請求項2で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記切断厚さ演算モジュールは、前記大腿骨の前記後端部の切断厚、前記大腿部インプラントの前記先端部厚、ならびに、前記後端部厚を固定し、前記大腿骨の前記先端部の切断厚を演算することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1から請求項3のいずれかで請求されたシステムにおいて、前記切断厚さ演算モジュールは、前記脛骨および前記大腿骨の切断後の前記脛骨から前記大腿骨までのギャップが、伸長状態および屈曲状態で等しくなるよう、前記大腿骨の前記先端部の切断厚さおよび前記後端部の切断厚さを演算することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1から請求項4のいずれかで請求されたシステムにおいて、前記切断厚さ演算モジュールは、前記大腿骨の前記先端部の切断厚さおよび前記後端部の切断厚さを演算するのに、ユーザーが入力した大腿骨の最小の切断厚さを考慮することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記切断厚さ演算モジュールは、前記大腿骨の前記先端部の切断厚さを演算するため、大腿部のインプラントサイズの定数に前記屈曲ギャップの測定値を加え、前記伸長ギャップの測定値を減じることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項6で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記大腿部のインプラントサイズ定数は、前記大腿部インプラントの先端厚を考慮にいれることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項7で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記大腿部のインプラントサイズ定数は、前記大腿部インプラントの後端厚を考慮にいれることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記ギャップ測定モジュールは、前記大腿骨および前記脛骨の実際のメカニカルアクシスを測定し、前記演算モジュールは、前記膝が所望のメカニカルアクシスとほぼ一致するような前記膝のバランシングを得るため、前記膝の軟部組織に対して実行されるべき調整を決定することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項9で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記出力装置は、前記大腿骨および前記脛骨に対応する画像上に重複して前記所望のメカニカルアクシスを表示することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項2で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記登録モジュールは、前記大腿骨および前記脛骨の表面を、前記基準座標システムに登録するためのデジタイザーを含むことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項11で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記登録モジュールは、前記大腿骨および前記脛骨に付着するマーカーを含むことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項12で請求されたシステムにおいて、前記追跡装置は、赤外線カメラを含み、前記マーカーは、赤外線反射器であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 膝関節置換手術における、大腿骨の先端部の切断厚さ、および、後端部の切断厚さ、を決定するためのプログラムであって、
少なくとも一の大腿部インプラントのサイズおよび形状に関するデータをコンピュータメモリに保持する処理と、
伸長状態における前記大腿骨と前記脛骨切断により形成された脛骨プラトー間の伸長ギャップを測定するとともに、屈曲状態における前記大腿骨と前記脛骨切断により形成された脛骨プラトー間の屈曲ギャップを測定し、測定データを生成するギャップ測定モジュールからの測定データを受ける処理と、
前記伸長ギャップならび前記屈曲ギャップを用い、大腿部インプラントの先端部の厚さおよび後端部の厚さを考慮して、大腿骨において切断されるべき先端部の切断厚さおよび後端部の切断厚さを演算する処理と、
前記測定データおよび前記演算された演算データを出力装置によって出力する処理とをコンピュータに行わせることを特徴とするプログラム。
