Description
The present invention relates to a ceramic heater used for a hair iron, a water heater, an oxygen sensor, an air-fuel ratio sensor, a glow plug, and the like.
Ceramic heaters typified by the above applications may take a long time to heat the object to be heated to the desired temperature when used, so the heating time is further reduced to perform the desired heat treatment. It is requested to do. In addition, when heating the object to be heated, the temperature distribution on the surface of the ceramic heater may cause uneven heat transfer to the object to be heated, resulting in uneven temperature. It is also required that the heated object can be heated uniformly. In addition, when a ceramic heater that generates a large temperature distribution during heating is used repeatedly, the ceramic substrate may break due to failure to withstand the thermal stress generated by the temperature distribution.
In response to these problems, ceramic heaters have recently been able to heat objects to be heated more quickly, shortening the heating time, reducing the temperature distribution on the surface, and increasing and lowering the temperature at higher temperatures. Therefore, it is required to have sufficient durability even under severe use environment such as repeating the above.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and provides a ceramic heater excellent in heat transferability that can shorten the heating time of an object to be heated, can reduce the temperature distribution on the surface, and has excellent durability. The purpose is to provide.
Ceramic heater of the present invention has a heating element inside the plate-shaped ceramic body, the ceramic body and the main component on the main surface of the ceramic body has fixed a number of grains terminal of the same ceramics, the particles Is larger than the crystal grains of the ceramic body .
Moreover, the ceramic heater of the present invention is characterized in that, in the above configuration, a large number of the particles are fixed to both main surfaces of the ceramic body.
Furthermore, the ceramic heater of the present invention is characterized in that, in the above configuration, a large number of the particles are fixed to a region of the main surface corresponding to the heating element.
Moreover, the ceramic heater of the present invention is characterized in that, in the above-described configuration, a large number of the particles are also adhered to a region between regions corresponding to the heating elements of the main surface.
Moreover, the ceramic heater of the present invention is characterized in that, in the above configuration, the particles have higher thermal conductivity than the ceramic body.
Moreover, the ceramic heater of the present invention is characterized in that, in the above configuration, there is a region where the particles are not fixed to the outer peripheral portion of the main surface of the ceramic body.
The ceramic heater according to the present invention is characterized in that, in the above configuration, the particles have an angular shape.
According to the ceramic heater of the present invention, the heating element is provided inside the plate-shaped ceramic body, and a large number of inorganic particles are fixed to the main surface of the ceramic body. The specific surface area of the surface increases when a large number of particles are fixed, and the particles fixed at the time of heat transfer when heating the object to be heated exhibit a so-called fin effect. Efficiency is improved and heating time can be shortened. Moreover, since the temperature distribution of the main surface of the ceramic body of the ceramic heater can be reduced, it is also effective in preventing heater cracking due to thermal stress in repeated use. Furthermore, when the size of the particles is larger than the size of the crystal particles of the ceramic body, it is possible to further improve the heat conduction when the object to be heated is heated.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the ceramic heater according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of an embodiment of the ceramic heater of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing a cross section of the ceramic heater shown in FIG.
In the
According to the
The reason why the object to be heated can be rapidly heated by such a
In addition, according to the
In the
Since the
Other inorganic materials that can be used as the
The size of the large number of
The density of the number of
The shape of the
Further, in the
Further, in the
If a large number of
Further, in the
As described above, when the large number of
Further, Oite the ceramic heater data of the reference example, in terms of further enhancing the efficiency of heat transfer to the object to be heated, the
Further, in the
Further, in the
Thus, the region where the
By the way, in the
Further, in the
At this time, the size of the

Next, the manufacturing method of the ceramic heater of this invention is demonstrated.

Here, a method for fixing a large number of
In order to fix a large number of
Further, in order to increase the adhesion between the
By firing the plate-shaped molded body thus formed, it is possible to obtain the

The plate-like molded body thus obtained was fired in a reducing atmosphere (nitrogen atmosphere) at 1500 to 1600 ° C.
