Claims (2)
- 第1の基地局装置よりも小さいカバーエリアを有し、該第1の基地局装置のカバーエリアの中に存在する第2の基地局装置であって、
受信した信号の処理を行う受信系ブロックと、前記送信する信号の処理を行う送信系ブロックと、タイマと、制御手段とを有し
前記制御手段は、前記受信系ブロックおよび送信系ブロックに対し、送信系ブロックは動作を停止して受信系ブロックは第1の基地局装置に無線端末が送信する信号を受信するために動作を行うスリープモードと、送信系ブロックおよび受信系ブロックともに動作を行うアクティブモードの2つの状態を前記第2の基地局装置が遷移するよう制御し、
前記制御手段は、前記スリープモードにおいて、前記受信系ブロックが、前記第1の基地局装置に対して無線端末が送信する信号を受信すると、該信号の電力値を予め定めた閾値と比較し、無線端末が送信する信号の電力値が予め定めた閾値よりも高い場合には、前記無線端末が前記第2の基地局装置の近くに存在すると判断して、前記第2の基地局装置をアクティブモードに移行するよう制御して、前記送信系ブロックから制御信号の送信を開始するとともに前記タイマを作動し、
一定時間経過しても通信が開始されない場合には、前記送信系ブロックから送信していた制御信号を停止して前記第2の基地局装置をスリープモードに移行させるよう制御することを特徴とする第2の基地局装置。 - 請求項1に記載の第2の基地局装置において、
前記制御手段は、前記第1の基地局装置から受信したプリアンブル信号に基づいてシステム同期をとる構成であり、
前記第1の基地局装置がプリアンブル信号送信する時間帯を予め記憶しておき、該時間帯は前記第1の基地局装置から送信される信号を受信対象とし、その他の時間帯は無線端末から送信される信号を受信対象とすることを特徴とする第2の基地局装置。
