Description
a)複数の平行な面に複数の平行な交点線を有するシートであって、融点が120℃〜350℃の熱可塑性材料と、1デニール当たり600グラム(1dtex当たり550グラム)以上の弾性率を有する高弾性率繊維とを含む複数のシートからセルを有するハニカムを形成する工程と、
b)ハニカムを熱硬化性樹脂で含浸する工程と、
c)熱硬化性樹脂を硬化または部分的に硬化して、硬化または部分的に硬化したハニカムを形成する工程と、
d)硬化または部分的に硬化したハニカムを、接着剤の平行な線の面に垂直な方向にプレスして、熱硬化性樹脂の少なくとも一部を破断する工程と、
e)プレスしたハニカムを、接着剤の平行な線の面に垂直な方向に引き離して、破断点を有するハニカムを形成する工程と、
f)破断点を有するハニカムを、モールド内または型上で、曲げる、成型する、または成形する工程と、
g)ハニカムを加熱して、熱可塑性材料を破断点まで流す工程と、
h)モールドまたは型の形状を実質的に保持するためにハニカムを冷却する工程と
を含む。
a)複数の平行な面に複数の接着剤の平行線を有するシートであって、融点が120℃〜350℃の熱可塑性材料と、1デニール当たり600グラム(1dtex当たり550グラム)以上の弾性率を有する高弾性率繊維とを含む複数のシートから、拡張したセルを有するハニカムを形成する工程と、
b)ハニカムを熱硬化性樹脂で含浸する工程と、
c)熱硬化性樹脂を硬化または部分的に硬化して、硬化または部分的に硬化したハニカムを形成する工程と、
d)硬化または部分的に硬化したハニカムを、接着剤の平行な線の面に垂直な方向にプレスして、熱硬化性樹脂の少なくとも一部を破断する工程と、
e)プレスしたハニカムを、接着剤の平行な線の面に垂直な方向に引き離して、破断点を有するハニカムを形成する工程と、
f)破断点を有するハニカムを、曲率のある領域を有するモールド内または型上で、曲げる、成型する、または成形する工程と、
g)ハニカムを加熱して、熱可塑性材料を破断点まで流す工程と、
h)モールドまたは型の曲率のある領域の形状を実質的に保持するためにハニカムを冷却する工程と
を含む方法に関する。
繊維デニールは、ASTM D1907を用いて測定する。繊維弾性率は、ASTM D885を用いて測定する。紙密度は、ASTM D374により測定された紙厚さを用いて計算し、坪量は、ASTM D646により測定する。ガラス転位温度(Tg)および融点(Tm)は、ASTM D3418を用いて測定する。
Teijin Twaron(登録商標)1080チョップドフィラメント繊維、Teijin Twaron(登録商標)1094パルプおよびToray Tetoron(登録商標)熱可塑性ポリエステル繊維で構成されたアラミド/熱可塑性紙を、従来の製紙機で形成する。紙の組成は、52重量%Twaron1080繊維、18重量%Twaron1094パルプおよび30重量%Tetoron(登録商標)繊維である。Twaron1080繊維の公称フィラメント直線密度は、1フィラメント当たり1.5デニール(1フィラメント当たり1.7dtex)、6mm切断長さである。Tetoron(登録商標)熱可塑性繊維の公称フィラメント直線密度は、1フィラメント当たり2デニール(1フィラメント当たり2.2dtex)、6mm切断長さである。紙は、245℃および2MPaの圧力下で、予熱し、プレプレスする。次に、1200N/cmの線圧、260℃でカレンダ加工する。これにより、密度約0.75g/cm3のアラミド/熱可塑性紙が製造される。
次に、本発明の態様を示す。
1. ハニカムを製造する方法であって、前記ハニカムは、前記ハニカムの面を形成するエッジを有するセルを含み、前記面は、複数の点で画定され、前記点の少なくとも2つが、異なる接平面に位置しており、
a)融点が120℃〜350℃の熱可塑性材料と、1デニール当たり600グラム(1dtex当たり550グラム)以上の弾性率を有する高弾性率繊維とを含む複数のシートから、拡張したセルを有するハニカムを形成する工程と、
b)前記ハニカムを熱硬化性樹脂で含浸する工程と、
c)前記熱硬化性樹脂を硬化または部分的に硬化して、硬化または部分的に硬化したハニカムを形成する工程と、
d)前記硬化または部分的に硬化したハニカムを、接着剤の平行な線の面に垂直な方向にプレスして、前記熱硬化性樹脂の少なくとも一部を破断する工程と、
e)前記プレスしたハニカムを、接着剤の平行な線の面に垂直な方向に引き離して、破断点を有するハニカムを形成する工程と、
f)前記破断点を有するハニカムを、モールド内または型上で、曲げる、成型する、または成形する工程と、
g)前記ハニカムを加熱して、前記熱可塑性材料を前記破断点まで流す工程と、
h)前記モールドまたは型の形状を実質的に保持するために前記ハニカムを冷却する工程と
を含む方法。
2. 前記高弾性率繊維が約50〜95重量部の量で存在し、前記熱可塑性材料が5〜50重量部の量で存在する上記1に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
3. 前記高弾性率繊維が約60〜80重量部の量で存在している上記2に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
4. 前記熱可塑性材料が20〜40重量部の量で存在している上記2に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
5. 前記高弾性率繊維がパラ−アラミドポリマーを含む上記1に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
6. 前記パラ−アラミドポリマーがポリ(パラフェニレンテレフタルアミド)である上記5に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
7. 前記高弾性率繊維が、炭素繊維、ポリベンズアゾール繊維、ポリピリダゾール繊維およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される上記1に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
8. 前記熱可塑性材料がポリエステルポリマーを含む上記1に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
9. 前記ポリエステルポリマーが液晶ポリマーである上記8に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
10. 前記熱可塑性材料が、ポリオレフィン、ポリアミド、ポリエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリアミド−イミド、ポリエーテル−イミド、ポリフェニレンスルフィドおよびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される上記1に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
11. 前記ハニカムの前記面を、側方において支持または抑制もしながら、工程d)のプレスを行う上記1に記載のハニカムを製造する方法。
12. 前記冷却工程後、25パーセント未満の前記ハニカムセルが、180度を超える凹角を有する上記1に記載の方法により製造されたハニカム。
Claims (1)
- ハニカムを製造する方法であって、前記ハニカムは、前記ハニカムの面を形成するエッジを有するセルを含み、前記面は、複数の点で画定され、前記点の少なくとも2つが、異なる接平面に位置しており、
a)融点が120℃〜350℃の熱可塑性材料と、1デニール当たり600グラム(1dtex当たり550グラム)以上の弾性率を有する高弾性率繊維とを含む複数のシートから、拡張したセルを有するハニカムを形成する工程と、
b)前記ハニカムを熱硬化性樹脂で含浸する工程と、
c)前記熱硬化性樹脂を硬化または部分的に硬化して、硬化または部分的に硬化したハニカムを形成する工程と、
d)前記硬化または部分的に硬化したハニカムを、接着剤の平行な線の面に垂直な方向にプレスして、前記熱硬化性樹脂の少なくとも一部を破断する工程と、
e)前記プレスしたハニカムを、接着剤の平行な線の面に垂直な方向に引き離して、破断点を有するハニカムを形成する工程と、
f)前記破断点を有するハニカムを、モールド内または型上で、曲げる、成型する、または成形する工程と、
g)前記ハニカムを加熱して、前記熱可塑性材料を前記破断点まで流す工程と、
h)前記モールドまたは型の形状を実質的に保持するために前記ハニカムを冷却する工程と
を含む方法。
