Claims (11)
- 内燃機関に対して気相LPGのみを供給するLPG供給方法であって、
エンジンに対して気相にてLPGを可変流量で供給するインジェクタを備え、
前記エンジンの各運転条件について、前記インジェクタに供給されるLPGの対応する温度を、前記インジェクタの入口または内部におけるLPGの対応する1つの温度を直接的に検出することによって決定し、
LPGの各前記温度に対して、前記インジェクタに供給されるLPGが常に気相となるように、対応する最大最適圧力値を決定し、
決定された前記最大最適圧力値に略一致するように、前記インジェクタの入口における気相LPGの有効圧力を調整するLPG供給方法であって、
前記有効圧力の調整は、各前記運転条件において、前記インジェクタへと供給される気相LPGガスの圧力を取得し、該圧力と対応する前記最大最適圧力値とを比較し、前記有効圧力を補正するように第1ソレノイドバルブ及び第2ソレノイドバルブを選択的に動作させることによって行われる、LPG供給方法。 - 内燃機関に対して気相LPGのみを供給するLPG供給方法であって、
エンジンに対して気相にてLPGを可変流量で供給するインジェクタを備え、
前記エンジンの各運転条件について、前記インジェクタに供給されるLPGの対応する温度を、同時刻における前記エンジンの冷却液の温度に基づいて決定し、
LPGの各前記温度に対して、前記インジェクタに供給されるLPGが常に気相となるように、対応する最大最適圧力値を決定し、
決定された前記最大最適圧力値に略一致するように、前記インジェクタの入口における気相LPGの有効圧力を調整するLPG供給方法であって、
前記有効圧力の調整は、各前記運転条件において、前記インジェクタへと供給される気相LPGガスの圧力を取得し、該圧力と対応する前記最大最適圧力値とを比較し、前記有効圧力を補正するように第1ソレノイドバルブ及び第2ソレノイドバルブを選択的に動作させることによって行われる、LPG供給方法。 - LPGの前記最大最適圧力値の取得は、LPGの気相領域と液相領域とを分離する限界曲線を記憶し、該限界曲線に基づき、決定された前記温度の少なくとも一部分に対して、対応する値を得ることによって行われる請求項1又は請求項2に記載のLPG供給方法。
- 前記最大最適圧力値を得るための前記温度に対応した所定の補正率および変数を用いて、前記最大最適圧力値を補正する請求項3記載のLPG供給方法。
- 前記各運転条件において、LPGの前記流量は、少なくとも前記有効圧力の関数を用いて前記インジェクタの開口時間を変化させることによって行われる請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載のLPG供給方法。
- LPGの前記流量は、前記各運転条件の少なくともいくつかにおいて、前記エンジンの空気−LPG導入チャンバにおける圧力とLPGの前記有効圧力との比の関数を用いて制御される請求項5記載のLPG供給方法。
- 空気−LPG導入チャンバにおける前記圧力は、前記各運転条件の少なくともいくつかにおいて、前記有効圧力および空気−LPG導入チャンバに供給されたLPGの流量に応じて、決定された閾値以下に限定される請求項5又は請求項6に記載のLPG供給方法。
- 内燃機関に対して気相LPGのみを供給するLPG供給装置であって、
エンジンに対して気相にてLPGを可変流量にて供給するインジェクタと、
前記エンジンの各運転条件について、前記インジェクタに供給される気相LPGの対応する温度を、前記インジェクタの入口または内部におけるLPGの対応する1つの温度を直接的に検出することによって決定する第1決定手段と、
LPGの各前記温度の少なくともいずれかに対して、前記インジェクタに供給されるLPGが常に気相となるように、対応するLPGの最大最適圧力値を決定する第2決定手段と、
決定された前記最大最適圧力値に略一致するように、前記インジェクタに供給される気相LPGの有効圧力を調整する調整手段と、
を備え、
前記調整手段は、LPGタンクに接続される入口および前記インジェクタに接続される出口と、前記入口および前記出口に連通する第1チャンバと、可撓性を有するダイヤフラムによって前記第1チャンバから分離された第2チャンバと、前記ダイヤフラムによって駆動されるとともに、前記入口から前記第1チャンバを隔離する閉位置と、前記入口と前記第1チャンバとの間でガス流路を形成する開位置との間で移動するシャッターとを有するバルブと、
前記入口と前記第2チャンバとの間に配置された第1補正ソレノイドバルブと、
前記第2チャンバと前記出口との間に配置された第2補正ソレノイドバルブと、を備え、
前記第1補正ソレノイドバルブ及び前記第2補正ソレノイドバルブを選択的に動作させる制御手段が設けられているLPG供給装置。 - 前記第2決定手段は、LPGの気相領域と液相領域とを分離する限界曲線を記憶する記憶手段と、
前記限界曲線に基づき、各前記温度の少なくともいくつかに対応する最大最適圧力値を決定する計算手段と、
を備えている請求項8記載のLPG供給装置。 - 前記制御手段は、各前記運転条件において、前記出口におけるLPGの圧力値と前記最大最適圧力値とを比較し、該比較結果に応じて前記ソレノイドバルブの一方または他方に動作信号を送る比較手段を有する請求項8又は請求項9に記載のLPG供給装置。
- 各前記運転条件の少なくともいずれかにおいて、少なくとも前記有効圧力および空気−LPG導入チャンバ内へ供給されるLPGの流量に応じて該空気−LPG導入チャンバ内の圧力の閾値を決定する決定手段と、
前記閾値以下に前記空気−LPG導入チャンバの圧力を制限する制限手段と、
を備えている請求項8から請求項10のいずれかに記載のLPG供給装置。
