Claims (10)
- 少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号を生成する複数のマルチメディア信号源に結合されたマルチメディアサーバモジュールと、
少なくとも1つのクライアント装置に結合されたクライアントモジュールと、を備えるマルチメディアクライアント/サーバシステムであって、
前記マルチメディアサーバモジュールは、
少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号をエンコードして、パケットサイズを有するパケット配列を含むエンコード済み信号を生成するエンコーダモジュールと、
前記エンコーダモジュールに結合されており、前記エンコード済み信号を含むチャネル信号を生成すると共に、前記チャネル信号を無線通信経路上においてリンクデータレートで伝送するRFサーバトランシーバモジュールであって、前記無線通信経路の性能に基づいた第1RF性能信号を生成する第1モニタモジュールと、前記第1RF性能信号を受信し、前記第1RF性能信号に基づいて前記パケットサイズを調節するサービス品質モジュールと、を含むRFサーバトランシーバモジュールと、
を有し、
前記クライアントモジュールは、
前記チャネル信号を受信すると共に復調して受信エンコード済み信号を生成するRFクライアントトランシーバモジュールと、
RFクライアントトランシーバモジュールに結合され、前記受信エンコード済み信号をデコード済み出力信号にデコードするデコーダモジュールと、を有するマルチメディアクライアント/サーバシステム。 - RFクライアントトランシーバモジュールは、前記無線通信経路の性能に基づいた第2RF性能信号を生成する第2モニタモジュールを更に含み、前記RFクライアントトランシーバモジュールは、前記第2RF性能信号を前記RFサーバトランシーバモジュールに伝送しており、前記サービス品質モジュールは、前記第2RF性能信号に基づいて前記パケットサイズを調節する請求項1に記載のマルチメディアクライアント/サーバシステム。
- 前記第2RF性能信号は、受信信号強度(RSSI)を含んでおり、前記サービス品質モジュールは、前記RSSIに基づいて前記リンクデータレートのレンジを調節している請求項2に記載のマルチメディアクライアント/サーバシステム。
- 前記第1RF性能信号は、再送率を含んでおり、前記サービス品質モジュールは、前記再送率に基づいて前記パケットサイズを調節する請求項1に記載のマルチメディアクライアント/サーバシステム。
- 前記第1RF性能信号は、符号化誤り率を含む請求項1に記載のマルチメディアクライアント/サーバシステム。
- 前記第1RF性能信号は、無線ビジー率を含む請求項1に記載のマルチメディアクライアント/サーバシステム。
- 少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号を生成する複数のマルチメディアソースに結合可能であるマルチメディアサーバモジュール内において使用される回路において、
前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号をエンコードして、パケットサイズを有するパケットの配列を含むエンコード済み信号を生成するエンコーダモジュールと、
前記エンコーダモジュールに結合されており、前記エンコード済み信号を含むチャネル信号を生成すると共に、前記チャネル信号を少なくとも1つのクライアントモジュールに無線通信経路上においてリンクデータレートで伝送するRFサーバトランシーバモジュールであって、前記無線通信経路の性能に基づいた第1RF性能信号を生成する第1モニタモジュールと、前記第1RF性能信号を受信し、前記第1RF性能信号に基づいて前記パケットサイズを調節するサービス品質モジュールと、を含むRFサーバトランシーバモジュールと、
を有する回路。 - 少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号を生成する複数のマルチメディアソースに結合可能であるマルチメディアサーバモジュール内において使用される回路において、
少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号をエンコードして、パケットサイズを有するパケットの配列を含むエンコード済み信号を生成するエンコーダモジュールと、
前記エンコーダモジュールに結合されており、前記エンコード済み信号を含むチャネル信号を生成すると共に、前記チャネル信号を少なくとも1つのクライアントモジュールに無線通信経路上においてリンクデータレートで伝送するRFサーバトランシーバモジュールであって、前記無線通信経路の性能に基づいた第1RF性能信号を生成する第1モニタモジュールと、前記第1RF性能信号を受信し、前記第1RF性能信号に基づいて前記リンクデータレートを調節し、且つ、該リンクデータレートの調整に基づいて前記パケットサイズを調整するサービス品質モジュールと、を含むRFサーバトランシーバモジュールと、
を有する回路。 - 少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号を生成する複数のマルチメディアソースに結合可能であるマルチメディアサーバモジュール内において使用される回路において、
少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号をエンコードして、パケットサイズを有するパケットの配列を含むエンコード済み信号を生成するエンコーダモジュールと、
前記エンコーダモジュールに結合されており、前記エンコード済み信号を含むチャネル信号を生成すると共に、前記チャネル信号を少なくとも1つのクライアントモジュールに無線通信経路上においてリンクデータレートで伝送するRFサーバトランシーバモジュールであって、前記無線通信経路の性能に基づいて、前記少なくとも1つのクライアントモジュールから第2RF性能信号を受信するRFサーバトランシーバモジュールと、
前記第2RF性能信号を受信し且つ前記第2RF性能信号に基づいて前記パケットサイズを調整するサービス品質モジュールと、
を有する回路。 - 少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号を生成する複数のマルチメディアソースに結合可能であるマルチメディアサーバモジュール内において使用される方法であって、
前記少なくとも1つのマルチメディア信号をエンコードして、パケットサイズを有するパケット配列を含むエンコード済み信号を生成するステップと、
前記エンコード済み信号を含むチャネル信号を生成するステップと、
少なくとも1つのクライアントモジュールに、前記チャネル信号を無線通信経路上においてリンクデータレートで伝送するステップと、
前記無線通信経路の性能に基づいた第1RF性能信号を生成するステップと、
前記第1RF性能信号に基づいて前記パケットサイズを調節するステップと、
を有する方法。
