Description
これらおよび他の問題点は、セラミックタイル用の下敷として使用するための改善された膜により対処される。この膜は、ベースマットと、そのベースマットに塗布される可撓性コーティングであり、少なくとも50重量%のフライアッシュを含む水硬性成分と;水溶性のフィルム形成ポリマーを含むポリマーと;水とを含むコーティングとを備える。
可撓性の水硬性材料は、とりわけセラミックタイル用の下敷としての使用に適したものにされる。第1の実施形態では、セメント系スラリーは、メッシュまたはスクリムに薄く塗布される。他の実施形態は、任意選択の水溶性フィルム形成ポリマーをセメントスラリーに添加する場合、支持用のメッシュを必要としない。別段の指示がなければ、組成物を説明する本明細書に記載の量または濃度は重量基準である。
表Iの配合1の成分からスラリーを作製した。液体ポリマー中に含まれる水に追加する水は加えないでスラリーを形成した。
表Iの成分を再度混合し、それをSMSラミネートに塗布することにより、別のセメント系膜を作製した。得られたコート生成物を210°F(99℃)のオーブンに移し、3分間保持した。続いて、軟らかい可撓性膜をオーブンから取り出し、スラリーをベースマットに塗布してから4分未満で巻いた。
ポリ塩化ビニルでコートしたガラスファイバーで作製された双方向メッシュベースマットを使用して2つの可撓性膜を製造した。このメッシュは、縦糸と横糸の両方向で1インチ当り9ガラスファイバーヤーンを有する開口した多孔性の構造であった。表IIの2つの水硬性組成物をそれぞれこのベースマット片に塗布した。
実施例1の表Iに示すセメント系配合物を調製し、SMSポリマーラミネート上に塗布することにより、可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメントベースの膜を製造した。ASTM C627 Robinson Floor Testにより耐久性を評価するために、調製された膜を使用して床を建造した。このRobinson Floor Testの間、様々な硬度および様々な負荷を有するホイールをそれぞれ900回転でタイル表面上を連続的に移動させる。各サイクル後、タイルを調べて、そのいずれかが緩んだり、壊れたりまたは削り取られたりしていないかを判定した。グラウトを精査して、それがはじけたか、ひび割れたかまたは粉々になったかを判定した。
表IIIにリストアップされた成分を使用して、下敷を調製した。
Claims (20)
- セラミックタイル用の下敷として使用するための膜であって、
ベースマットと、
前記ベースマットに塗布する可撓性コーティングであり、C級フライアッシュからなる55〜75重量%の水硬性成分、水溶性のフィルム形成ポリマーを含む乾燥固体基準に対して5〜35重量%のポリマー、及び5〜35重量%の水を含み、如何なるセメント成分、及び上記C級フライアッシュ以外の如何なるフライアッシュをも含んでいないコーティングとを備えることを特徴とする可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜。 - 前記ポリマーが、ラテックスポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜。
- 前記ラテックスポリマーが、アクリルポリマーであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜。
- 前記ベースマットは、スパンボンドポリマーの2つの層の間に挟まれたメルトブローンポリマーの1つの中心層を有する、少なくとも3つの層を備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜。
- 前記ベースマットが、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリ塩化ビニル、およびポリエステルの少なくとも1種を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載された可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜を作製する方法であって、
C級フライアッシュからなる水硬性成分、水溶性のフィルム形成ポリマー、及び水を含む成分を組み合わせるステップと、
成分を混合してコーティングを形成する混合ステップと、
ベースマットを用意するステップと、
少なくとも1つの可撓性表面支持層上方および無表面支持層のベースマットの少なくとも1つの面上にコーティングを塗布する塗布ステップと、
コーティングを乾燥させて膜を形成するステップとを含むことを特徴とする可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。 - 前記塗布ステップが、コーティング、スプレーイング、スプレッディング、スクリーディング、およびローリングからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1つの塗布方法を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 前記塗布ステップが、スクリーディングを含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 前記スクリーディングするステップが、膜に第2のコーティングの塗布を行なうために繰り返されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 前記スクリーディングが、可撓性表面支持層上で行なわれることを特徴とする請求項8又は9に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 前記混合ステップが、高せん断条件下で成分を混合するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項6乃至10のいずれかに記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 高せん断バッチミキサを使用して高せん断条件を供給することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載された可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜を作製する方法であって、
C級フライアッシュ、水溶性のフィルム形成ポリマー、及び水を含む成分を組み合わせるステップと、
成分を混合してコーティングを形成する混合ステップと、
ベースマットを用意するステップと、
ベースマットの少なくとも1つの面上にコーティングを塗布するステップと、
コーティングを硬化させて膜を形成する硬化ステップとを含むことを特徴とする可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。 - 前記混合ステップが、高せん断条件下で行なわれることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 前記ベースマットを用意するステップが、ベースマットを巻き戻すステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項13又は14に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 前記硬化ステップが、キルン内で膜を加熱するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項13乃至15のいずれかに記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載された可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜を作製する方法であって、
C級フライアッシュからなる水硬性成分、水溶性のフィルム形成ポリマー、及び水を含む成分を組み合わせるステップと、
成分を高せん断条件下で混合してコーティングを形成するステップと、
少なくとも1つの面を有するベースマットを用意するステップと、
面にコーティングを塗布する塗布ステップと、
コーティングを硬化させる硬化ステップとを含むことを特徴とする可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。 - 前記塗布ステップが、ローリング、スクリーディング、スプレーイング、スプレッディング、およびコーティングからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1つの塗布方法を含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 前記硬化ステップが、コーティングを乾燥するステップ、コーティングを加熱するステップ、またはコーティングを光に暴露するステップからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも一つのステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項17又は18に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
- 前記光が紫外波長範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の可撓性でローラかけ可能なセメント系膜の製造方法。
