Description
出願人の調査では、本発明の寸法規定を使用して、すなわち、相応に長い第2の領域を設けた場合に、相対的に高いビームクオリティを有するレーザパルスを生成することができる。
図2に示されたレーザ装置26の構造では、ポンピング光60は入力ミラー42へ導かれている。入力ミラー42はポンピング光60の波長を透過させるので、ポンピング光60はレーザ活性固体44内に入り、内部で、それ自体公知の反転分布を生じさせる。有利にはポンピング光60は、結像しない入力光学系によって、レーザ活性の第1の領域44aで束化され、これによって効果的な光学的ポンピングが可能になる。
Claims (6)
- 内燃機関用のレーザ装置(26)であって、
受動的なQスイッチ(46)を有している少なくとも1つのレーザ活性固体(44)と、1つの入力ミラー(42)と、1つの取り出しミラー(48)とを有しており、
前記レーザ活性固体(44)は1つのレーザ活性領域(44a)と、第1および第2のレーザ非活性領域(44b、44b’)とを有しており、
前記入力ミラー(42)、前記取り出しミラー(48)および前記レーザ活性領域(44a)と前記レーザ非活性領域(44b、44b’)は、前記レーザ装置(26)の長手軸(L)に沿って配置されている形式のものにおいて、
前記第1と第2のレーザ非活性領域(44b、44b’)の長さの総計(lb)は、前記レーザ活性領域(44a)の長さ(la)の1.5倍よりも長いまたは前記レーザ活性領域(44a)の長さ(la)の1.5倍と同じであり、
前記レーザ活性固体(44)は柱体形状を有しており、ここで横断面は円形であり、前記レーザ活性領域(44a)の長さ(la)は当該横断面の直径よりも係数2以上短く、
前記レーザ装置(26)の出力側に光学的な増幅器(50)が設けられており、当該光学的な増幅器は、前記レーザ活性固体(44)とモノリシックに構成されており、
前記第1のレーザ非活性領域(44b)は前記入力ミラー(42)と前記レーザ活性領域(44a)との間に、前記第2のレーザ非活性領域(44b’)は前記受動的なQスイッチ(46)と前記取り出しミラー(48)との間に配置されている、
ことを特徴とするレーザ装置。 - 前記第1の領域(44a)の長さ(la)は60μm以上である、請求項1記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記第1の領域(44a)および/または第2の領域(44b)のホストはYAG、すなわちイットリウム・アルミニウム・ガーネット、および/またはGGG、すなわちガドリニウム・ガリウム・ガーネットおよび/またはGSGG、すなわちガドリニウム・スカンジウム・ガリウム・ガーネットを有している、請求項1または2記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記第1の領域(44a)のホストはイッテルビウムによってドーピングされており、ここで前記ドーピングは2 at %を上回っている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記ドーピングは3 at %を上回っている、請求項4記載のレーザ装置。
- 自動車の、内燃機関(10)用の点火装置(27)であって、
請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載されたレーザ装置(26)を有している、
ことを特徴とする点火装置。
