Abstract
【解決手段】レーザ装置であって、受動的なQスイッチを有している少なくとも1つのレーザ活性固体を有しており、レーザ活性固体は少なくとも1つの、レーザ活性である第1の領域とレーザ非活性である第2の領域とを有しており、当該領域はレーザ装置の長手軸に沿って配置されている形式のものにおいて、第2の領域の長さは、第1の領域の1.5倍の長さよりも長いまたは第1の領域の1.5倍の長さと同じであるレーザ装置。

Description
出願人の調査では、本発明の寸法規定を使用して、すなわち、相応に長い第2の領域を設けた場合に、相対的に高いビームクオリティを有するレーザパルスを生成することができる。
図2に示されたレーザ装置26の構造では、ポンピング光60は入力ミラー42へ導かれている。入力ミラー42はポンピング光60の波長を透過させるので、ポンピング光60はレーザ活性固体44内に入り、内部で、それ自体公知の反転分布を生じさせる。有利にはポンピング光60は、結像しない入力光学系によって、レーザ活性の第1の領域44aで束化され、これによって効果的な光学的ポンピングが可能になる。
Claims (8)
- レーザ装置(26)であって、
受動的なQスイッチ(46)を有している少なくとも1つのレーザ活性固体(44)を有しており、
前記レーザ活性固体(44)は少なくとも1つの、レーザ活性である第1の領域(44a)とレーザ非活性である第2の領域(44b)とを有しており、
当該領域(44a、44b)は前記レーザ装置(26)の長手軸(L)に沿って配置されている形式のものにおいて、
前記第2の領域(44b)の長さ(1b)は、前記第1の領域(44a)の1.5倍の長さ(la)よりも長いまたは前記第1の領域(44a)の1.5倍の長さ(1a)と同じである、
ことを特徴とするレーザ装置。 - 前記レーザ活性固体(44)は実質的に円筒状を有しており、ここで横断面は実質的には円形または長方形であり、前記第1の領域(44a)の長さ(la)は横断面の直径またはエッジ長よりも短く、有利には係数2以上短い、請求項1記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記第1の領域(44a)の長さ(1a)は60μm以上である、請求項1または2記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記第1の領域(44a)および/または第2の領域(44b)のホストはYAG、すなわちイットリウム・アルミニウム・ガーネット、および/またはGGG、すなわちガドリニウム・ガリウム・ガーネットおよび/またはGSGG、すなわちガドリニウム・スカンジウム・ガリウム・ガーネットを有している、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記第1の領域(44a)のホストはイッテルビウムによってドーピングされており、ここで前記ドーピングは2 at %、有利には3 at %を上回っている、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載のレーザ装置。
- 光学的な増幅器(50)が設けられている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1記載のレーザ装置。
- 前記レーザ活性固体(44)ないしレーザ活性固体(44)と光学的な増幅器(50)はモノリシックに構成されている、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載のレーザ装置。
- 殊に自動車の、内燃機関(10)用の点火装置(27)であって、
請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載されたレーザ装置(26)を有している、
ことを特徴とする点火装置。
