Claims (10)
- 体液サンプルにおける検体を測定するための方法であって、当該方法は、
得られた体液サンプルを検体試験片に適用する工程と、
前記適用された体液サンプルを、前記検体試験片のサンプル受容チャンバに移動させる工程と、
前記体液サンプルにおける検体を測定する工程と、を含み、
前記検体試験片は、
前記サンプル受容チャンバと流体連絡し、前記検体試験片のプラットフォーム部に近接する第1のポートであって、前記プラットフォーム部は、少なくとも5μlの第1の体液サンプルを受容して、前記第1の体液サンプルの少なくとも一部を、前記第1のポートを介して前記サンプル受容チャンバに移動させるように構成される、第1のポートと、
前記サンプル受容チャンバおよび前記検体試験片の外側縁と流体連絡する第2のポートであって、前記第2のポートは、前記第1の体液サンプルより少ない量の第2の体液サンプルを受容して、前記第2の体液サンプルの少なくとも一部を前記サンプル受容チャンバに移動させるように構成される、第2のポートと、を備え、
前記適用する工程は、前記体液サンプルの量に依存して、前記検体試験片の前記第2のポートおよび前記プラットフォーム部のうちの1つに前記体液サンプルを適用する工程を含む、方法。 - 前記体液サンプルは全血サンプルであり、前記検体はグルコースである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プラットフォーム部は、少なくとも25μlの体液サンプルを受容するように構成され、前記第2のポートは5μl未満の体液サンプルを受容するように構成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記体液サンプルは、シリンジ、ピペット、および皮下注射針のうちの1つを用いて得られたものである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記体液サンプルは、ユーザーの指からしぼり出すことによって得られたものである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記適用する工程は、前記プラットフォーム部における切り込みの視覚的誘導によって補助される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2のポートは、前記検体試験片の外側縁にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2のポートは、前記検体試験片の近位端縁にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ユーザーが、前記適用する工程および前記測定する工程の間に、前記検体試験片を扱うことによって前記検体試験片を操作する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記測定する工程は、前記検体試験片の第1の電極および第2の電極を使用して、前記検体の電気化学ベースの測定を実施する、請求項1に記載の方法。
