Description
Claims (13)
- 受信信号の強度を測定するための方法であって、
測定帯域幅を決定する工程と、
信号強度測定結果を求めるためのスナップショット期間を前記測定帯域幅に基づいて変更する工程と、
前記スナップショット期間における受信信号の信号強度測定結果を求める工程と、を有し、
前記スナップショット期間を変更する工程は、
前記測定帯域幅の増加に伴って前記スナップショット期間を減少させる工程と、
前記測定帯域幅の減少に伴って前記スナップショット期間を増加させる工程と、を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記測定帯域幅を決定する工程は、
ネットワークデバイスから、帯域幅インジケータを受信する工程と、
前記受信した帯域幅インジケータに基づいて前記測定帯域幅を決定する工程と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 信号強度測定結果を求める工程は、測定期間内の2以上のスナップショット期間における前記受信信号の前記信号強度測定結果を求める工程を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記測定期間中に求められた前記信号強度測定結果に基づいて平均信号強度を求める工程をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記平均信号強度は、在圏セクタまたは在圏セルの基地局に関するものであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記平均信号強度は、隣接セクタまたは隣接セルの基地局に関するものであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 無線受信器であって、
無線信号を受信する受信器と、
測定部であって、
測定帯域幅を決定し、
信号強度測定結果を求めるためのスナップショット期間を前記測定帯域幅に基づいて変更し、
前記スナップショット期間における受信信号の信号強度測定結果を求める、
ように構成された測定部と、
を備え、
前記測定部は、
前記測定帯域幅の増加に伴って前記スナップショット期間を減少させ、
前記測定帯域幅の減少に伴って前記スナップショット期間を増加させる、
ことにより、前記スナップショット期間を変更することを特徴とする無線受信器。 - 前記測定部は、
ネットワークデバイスから帯域幅インジケータを受信し、
前記受信した帯域幅インジケータに基づいて測定帯域幅を決定する、
ことにより、前記測定帯域幅を決定することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の無線受信器。 - 前記無線信号は前記測定帯域幅に関する情報を含み、前記測定部は前記測定帯域幅を決定するために前記無線信号を処理することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の無線受信器。
- 前記測定部は、測定期間内の2以上のスナップショット期間における前記受信信号を処理することにより、前記信号強度測定結果を求めることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の無線受信器。
- 前記測定部は、さらに、前記測定期間中に求められた前記信号強度測定結果に基づいて平均信号強度を求めることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の無線受信器。
- 前記平均信号強度は在圏セルに関するものであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の無線受信器。
- 前記平均信号強度は隣接セルに関するものであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の無線受信器。
