Claims (9)
- プリプレグ(10)を付着工具(11)の上に付着させる付着部(21)と、前記プリプレグ(10)が重ね合わせられたバッキングテープ(12)から該プリプレグ(10)を剥離する、前記付着部(21)の直上流に設けられたセパレータ(23)とを備えた、プリプレグテープのためのレイアップヘッド(20)において、
(イ)前記プリプレグ(10)が前記セパレータ(23)の直上流において前記バッキングテープ(12)から分離されることができるように、前記プリプレグ(10)を前記バッキングテープ(12)から分離するための退避可能な分離手段(30)が退避位置として前記セパレータ(23)の下流に設けられ、そして、
(ロ)前記退避可能な分離手段(30)が動作しているときには、前記プリプレグ(10)が、該退避可能な分離手段(30)が動作していないときと比べてより早い段階で前記バッキングテープ(12)から分離される
ことを特徴とするレイアップヘッド(20)。 - 前記退避可能な分離手段(30)には、少なくとも1つの分離部(31)が設けられ、そして、前記分離部(31)が、前記プリプレグ(10)の軌道の外側に配置される前記退避位置としての第1の位置と、前記セパレータ(23)に近接して前記プリプレグ(10)の軌道を逸らせる動作位置としての第2の位置と、の間で移動可能とされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレイアップヘッド(20)。
- 前記動作位置としての第2の位置に位置付けられた前記分離部(31)が、前記セパレータ(23)の周りに沿って移動した後で、前記プリプレグ(10)の上流で再度上昇するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のレイアップヘッド(20)。
- 前記退避可能な分離手段(30)には、前記退避可能な分離手段(30)の前記分離部(31)を支持する支持部(32)が設けられ、そして、前記支持部(32)が、前記退避可能な分離手段(30)を前記レイアップヘッドに対して相対的にスライドさせるための、ピボット手段(35)およびスライド手段(36)に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のレイアップヘッド(20)。
- 前記退避可能な分離手段(30)が、カム(34)と従動ローラ(33)とによる動作に応じて制御されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のレイアップヘッド(20)。
- 前記分離部(31)が、分離ローラ(31)であることを特徴とする請求項2ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のレイアップヘッド(20)。
- 前記分離部(31)が、ワイヤで構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のレイアップヘッド(20)。
- 前記セパレータ(23)が、剥離エッジ(23)で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれか1項に記載のレイアップヘッド(20)。
- 前記バッキングテープ(12)が、単純な切断ライン(13a)によって互いに分離された、前記プリプレグ(10)の複数の切片(10a)を支持するとともに、トリミング部分(13b)に対応するスペースによって分離された前記プリプレグ(10)の複数の切片(10b)を支持することを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載のレイアップヘッド(20)。
