Description
1.場整列可能なフレークを有する顔料で、基板をコーティングするステップ、
2.および前記場整列可能なフレークに場を印加し、印加される場の線に沿ってフレークを整列させるステップ、
3.ステップ(2)の実施後、顔料を硬化させるステップ、および
4.硬化しコーティングされた基板の一領域を、所定の形状を有する打抜き器で打ち抜いて、整列したフレークから形成された打ち抜かれた転写可能な画像を得るステップ
を含む、画像形成方法が提供される。
1.場整列可能なフレークを有する顔料で、基板を解放可能にコーティングするステップ、
2.および前記場整列可能なフレークに場を印加し、印加される場の線に沿ってフレークを整列させるステップ、
3.ステップ(2)の実施後、顔料を硬化させるステップ、
4.硬化したコーティングの一領域を、所定の形状を有する打抜き器で打ち抜いて、整列したフレークから形成された打ち抜かれた画像を得るステップ、および
5.打ち抜かれた画像を基板または物品に施すステップ
を含む、画像形成方法が提供される。
1.基板によって支持された解放コーティングを、場整列可能なフレークでコーティングするステップ、
2.場整列可能なフレークを磁場または電場に曝露させて、場整列したフレークを形成するステップ、
3.場整列したフレークを硬化させるステップ、
4.場整列したフレークを、それらの整列を保護しながら基板から除去するステップ、および、
5.場整列したフレークを、物体または別の基板に、所定の向きで転写するステップ
を含む、画像形成方法が提供される。

Claims (11)
- a)キャリア中に場整列可能なフレークを有する顔料コーティングで第1基板をコーティングするステップであって、前記場整列可能なフレークが溝の回折パターンを有する回折フレークであるステップ、
b)前記顔料コーティングに磁場または電場を印加し、前記磁場または電場の場の線に沿って前記フレークを整列させるステップであって、前記溝が前記場の線に対して平行となるようにするステップ、
c)ステップ(b)の実施後、前記顔料コーティングを硬化させるステップ、
d)硬化しコーティングされた前記第1基板の第1領域を、第1の形状を有する打抜き器で打ち抜いて、整列したフレークから形成された第1の打ち抜かれた転写可能な画像を得るステップ、
e)前記第1基板または第2基板の第2領域を打ち抜いて、溝を有する整列したフレークから形成された第2の打ち抜かれた転写可能な画像を得るステップ、および
f)前記第1および第2の打ち抜かれた転写可能な画像を第3基板または物体に転写するステップであって、前記第1の打ち抜かれた転写可能な画像中の前記整列したフレークの溝が、前記第2の打ち抜かれた転写可能な画像中の前記整列したフレークの溝とは異なって配向されており、直入射以外の光条件下で前記第1および第2の打ち抜かれた転写可能な画像からの異なる視覚効果を提供するステップ
を含む、画像形成方法。 - 前記第1の打ち抜かれた転写可能な画像が、打ち抜かれると同時に、前記物体または第3基板に転写される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の打ち抜かれた転写可能な画像が、ホットスタンプによって前記物体または第3基板に転写される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の打ち抜かれた画像が、前記物体または第3基板に接着転写される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1基板が、解放コーティングをその上に有し、前記打ち抜かれた画像を前記解放コーティングから解放できるようにする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記整列したフレークが、回折パターンを有する回折整列フレークであり、打ち抜かれた複数の画像を得るために、ステップ(d)を複数回実施し、打ち抜かれた複数の画像を異なる基板に施し、前記施された打ち抜かれた画像の少なくとも一部を、異なる基板上に隣同士に置き、それによってそれらの回折パターンが平行にならないようにする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップ(d)が複数回実施され、続いて前記打ち抜かれた画像が、1種または複数の異なる基板あるいは同じ基板に転写され、1つの打ち抜かれた画像が、少なくとも一部分、別の打ち抜かれた画像上に施される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記場整列可能なフレークが、カラーシフト回折フレークである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップ(b)によって、前記基板に対してある角度で整列するフレークが得られ、それによってフレークの少なくともいくつかが、その表面を前記基板に対して直角に、実質上直立している、請求項8に記載の方法。
- ステップ(d)が複数回実施される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記打ち抜かれた画像が、異なる形状または寸法を有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
