Claims (8)
- 磁気共鳴イメージング(MRI)で用いるための高周波(RF)コイル組立体(200)であって、
複数の1次元のRFコイル・アレイ(300)を含み、
前記RFコイル・アレイが、イメージング中にRF信号を受信する複数の多巻きコイル素子(210)を含み、
前記複数の一次元のRFコイル・アレイ(300)が2次元の多巻きコイル素子(210)のアレイを形成し、
前記多巻きコイル素子が、30MHzより大きな周波数で作動するMRIシステム(100)の対応する複数の受信チャネルに接続されるようになっており、
前記複数の多巻きコイル素子の各々は外側ループと、該外側ループの内側に配置された内側ループを備え、
前記内側ループは少なくとも1つの位置で前記外側ループに結合されることにより多巻きループ構造を形成し、
前記複数の多巻きコイル素子及び複数の受信チャネルの数が一致しており、
前記複数の多巻きコイル素子(210)の前記内側ループ及び前記外側ループが、それぞれの隣接する多巻きコイル素子の前記内側ループ及び前記外側ループに重なり合うように、前記複数の多巻きコイル素子(210)が、それぞれの隣接する多巻きコイル素子に重なり合うように配置され、前記複数の多巻き素子が、MRIシステム(100)内の所望の撮影領域に対応するように配置されており、
前記複数の多巻きコイル素子の各々の周りに選択的に配置された同じ数のバラン組立体(220)及び同じ数の分散型コンデンサ(230)をさらに含み、
前記複数のRFコイル・アレイ(300)の各々は、前記複数の多巻きコイル素子の各々と前記複数のバラン組立体とに結合されたケーブル(240)を含み、前記ケーブル(240)は、配管(270)を通して導かれ、前記MRIシステムの受信器(100)の前置増幅器入力への接続数を集約する、
RFコイル組立体。 - 前記多巻きコイル素子(210)が、MRIシステム(100)で用いるのに適した導電体を含む、請求項1記載のRFコイル組立体。
- 前記複数の重なり合った多巻き素子(210)が、MRIシステム(100)で用いるコイル素子間の相互電磁結合を最小にするように重なり合っている、請求項1記載のRFコイル組立体。
- 前記組立体が撮像被検体によって負荷を与えられた時に前記MRIシステムのMRI周波数にほぼ一致する周波数で各々のかつ全ての多巻き素子を共鳴させるように前記対応する分散型コンデンサの値が調整されている、請求項1記載のRFコイル組立体。
- 前記複数のバラン組立体の各々は、前記ケーブル(240)を収納したブロックと、ブロッキングコイルと、ピンダイオードと、バランを含み、前記ケーブル(240)は、前記バランによって同調される、請求項1または4に記載のRFコイル組立体。
- 可撓性基板を更に含み、
前記複数の多巻きコイル素子が前記可撓性基板上に取付けられ、
前記RFコイル組立体(200)が、MRIシステム(100)内の表面コイルとして作動するように形成されている、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のRFコイル組立体。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のRFコイル組立体と、
30MHzよりも大きい周波数で作動する前記複数の受信チャネルと、
前記RFコイル組立体によって取り込まれたMR信号を増幅する前置増幅器を含み、前記MR信号を処理するデジタル受信器と、
を含む、多重チャネル受信モードで作動するように構成された前記MRIシステム。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のRFコイル組立体を製造する方法であって、
前記RFコイル・アレイ(300)を複数用意する段階と、
複数の前記RFコイル・アレイ(300)を組合せ、前記RFコイル組立体上部組立体を形成する段階と、
複数の前記RFコイル・アレイ(300)を組合せ、前記RFコイル組立体下部組立体を形成する段階と、
を含む方法。
