Description
まず、本発明の第1の実施形態にかかる二次電池について説明する。図1は、本発明の一実施形態による二次電池を示した切開斜視図である。図1を参照すると、本実施形態による二次電池100は、正極112と負極113とがセパレータ114を間において位置する電極群110と、電解液と一緒に電極群110を収容できるように一側先端に開口部が形成されたケース120を含む。そしてケース120の開口部にはケース120を密封するキャップ組立体140がガスケット144を媒介として設けられる。
次に、本発明の第2の実施形態にかかる電池モジュールについて説明する。図4は、本実施形態による電池モジュールを示した正面図である。図4に示すように、二次電池100の間の段差部127によって、スペーサ150が二次電池100に締結されて位置すれば、二次電池100のケース120と外部端子143aが安定的に接触しながらも、ケース120が接触して短絡されることを防止することができる。
次に、本発明の第3の実施形態にかかる電池モジュールについて説明する。図6は、本実施形態による電池モジュールの一部を示した切開斜視図であり、図7は、本実施形態によるインターコネクタを示した断面図である。

Claims (13)
- 正極及び負極と、前記正極と前記負極との間に配置されるセパレータとを含む電極群と、
前記電極群が挿入される開口が形成され、第1厚さ部及び前記第1厚さ部より薄い厚さを有する第2厚さ部を含むケースと、
前記ケースの開口に結合し、前記電極群と電気的に連結されたキャップ組立体と、
前記ケースの一側端部を嵌合し、前記第1厚さ部と前記第2厚さ部とが接する接合部にかかる支持突起を有するスペーサと、
を含み、
前記第1厚さ部と、前記第1厚さ部よりも外径が小さい前記第2厚さ部との接合部には、段差部が形成され、
前記スペーサは、
前記ケースの側面を囲む第1部分と、
前記第1部分の上端から内側に折り曲げられて形成された第2部分と、
前記第2部分から下部に突出した第3部分と、
を更に含み、
前記支持突起は、前記第1部分の内面から突出して前記段差部にかかり、
前記段差部は角部を有し、前記角部を形成する面は直角または鋭角であり、
前記キャップ組立体は、前記ケースの前記第1厚さ部にクランピングで固定されることを特徴とする、二次電池。 - 前記ケースにはクランピング過程で上端を内側に曲げたクランピング部と、前記クランピング部の下から内側に湾曲したビーディング部とが形成され、
前記段差部は、前記クランピング部に形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記ケースにはクランピング過程で上端を内側に曲げたクランピング部と、前記クランピング部の下から内側に湾曲したビーディング部とが形成され、
前記段差部は、前記ビーディング部の下に形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。 - 前記スペーサは、前記ケースの上端を嵌合することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 複数の二次電池と、
前記二次電池の間に設けられるスペーサとを含み、
前記二次電池は、第1厚さ部及び前記第1厚さ部より薄い厚さを有する第2厚さ部を含むケースと、前記ケースの開口に結合するキャップ組立体とを具備し、
前記スペーサは、前記ケースの一側端部を嵌合し、前記第1厚さ部と第2厚さ部との接合部にかかる支持突起を有し、
前記第1厚さ部と、前記第1厚さ部よりも外径が小さい前記第2厚さ部との接合部には、段差部が形成され、
前記スペーサは、
前記ケースの側面を囲む第1部分と、
前記第1部分の上端から内側に折り曲げられて形成された第2部分と、
前記第2部分から下部に突出した第3部分と、
を更に含み、
前記支持突起は、前記第1部分の内面から突出して前記段差部にかかり、
前記段差部は角部を有し、前記角部を形成する面は直角または鋭角であり、
前記キャップ組立体は、前記ケースの前記第1厚さ部にクランピングで固定されることを特徴とする、電池モジュール。 - 前記ケースにはクランピング過程で上端を内側に曲げたクランピング部と、前記クランピング部の下から内側に湾曲したビーディング部とが形成され、
前記段差部は、前記クランピング部に形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記ケースにはクランピング過程で上端を内側に曲げたクランピング部と、前記クランピング部の下から内側に湾曲したビーディング部とが形成され、
前記段差部は、前記ビーディング部の下に形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記スペーサは、前記ケースの上端を嵌合することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記複数の二次電池は、互いに隣接する第1二次電池と第2二次電池とを含み、
前記電池モジュールは、前記第1二次電池と前記第2二次電池との間に設けられたインターコネクタを更に含み、
前記インターコネクタは、第1二次電池の上部に設けられたキャッププレートに接する下部突起と、第2二次電池のケースに接する内側突起とを有することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記インターコネクタは、第2二次電池のケース下端を囲むボディー部と、前記ボディー部の下に突出した延長部と、を更に含み、
前記内側突起は、前記ボディー部の内側に突出し、
前記下部突起は、前記延長部の下面から突出したことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記内側突起は、周辺より薄い厚さを有することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記内側突起は、複数に形成されて前記ボディー部の周りに沿って離隔配列されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記内側突起の周辺に溝形態の可変弾性部が形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池モジュール。
