Description
同様に、制御部24には、温度センサ41から紫LED37が実装されている基板の基板温度及び電圧検出部42から紫LED37の電圧値が供給される。制御部24は、温度センサ41からの紫LED37の基板温度と、電圧検出部42からの紫LED37の電圧値と、上述した式1とを用いて紫LED37のジャンクション温度を算定する。
複数色、ここでは、白色LED31と紫LED37とを備える光源装置3は、ジャンクション温度範囲等により、白色LED31と紫LED37とで劣化率が異なる。そのため、図8に示すように、同じ点灯時間であっても、白色LED31の光量と紫LED37光量の劣化特性が異なる。また、光源装置3は、通常観察モード時には白色LED31のみを点灯し、狭帯域観察モード時には白色LED31及び紫LED37を点灯する。このように、光源装置3は、観察モードに応じて白色LED31と紫LED37との点灯時間が異なってしまう。そのため、光源装置3を長時間使用すると、白色LED31と紫LED37との色バランスを一定に保つことができなくなる。
Claims (2)
- 点灯時間に伴って光量が劣化する半導体素子を持つ光源により構成される光源装置であって、
前記光源の点灯時間を計測する点灯時間計測部と、
前記光源のジャンクション温度を算定するジャンクション温度算定部と、
前記光源のジャンクション温度に基づく光量劣化特性を記憶する光量劣化特性記憶部と、
前記光源を駆動する電力と光量の特性を記憶する光源駆動特性記憶部と、
前記点灯時間計測部により計測された点灯時間と、前記ジャンクション温度算定部により算定されたジャンクション温度と、前記光量劣化特性記憶部に記憶されている光量劣化特性とに基づき、劣化光量を演算する劣化光量演算部と、
前記劣化光量演算部により演算された劣化光量と、前記光源駆動特性記憶部に記憶されている特性とに基づき、前記光源を駆動する電力を制御する光源電力制御部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする光源装置。 - 前記光源装置は、複数の光源により構成され、
前記点灯時間計測部は、前記複数の光源のそれぞれの点灯時間を計測し、
前記ジャンクション温度算定部は、前記複数の光源のそれぞれのジャンクション温度を算定し、
前記光量劣化特性記憶部は、前記複数の光源のそれぞれのジャンクション温度に基づく光量劣化特性を記憶し、
光源駆動特性記憶部は、前記複数の光源のそれぞれを駆動する電力と光量の特性を記憶し、
劣化光量演算部は、前記点灯時間計測部により計測された前記複数の光源のそれぞれの点灯時間と、前記ジャンクション温度算定部により算定された前記複数の光源のそれぞれのジャンクション温度と、前記光量劣化特性記憶部に記憶されている前記複数の光源のそれぞれの光量劣化特性とに基づき、前記複数の光源のそれぞれの劣化光量を演算し、
前記光源電力制御部は、前記劣化光量演算部により演算された前記複数の光源のそれぞれの劣化光量と、光源駆動特性記憶部に記憶されている前記複数の光源のそれぞれの特性とに基づき、前記複数の光源の色バランスを一定に保つように、前記複数の光源を駆動する電力を制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光源装置。
