Description

Claims (14)
- ネットワーク・システムであって:
複数の制御可能な装置を有し、前記複数の制御可能な装置のうちの少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置はローカル・エリア内に位置付けられ;及び
前記ネットワーク・システムは、制御部を更に有し、前記制御部は、前記複数の制御可能な装置と通信し、及び前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を前記ローカル・エリアと関連付けられたローカル・ネットワークに含め、前記複数の制御可能な装置のうちの残りの制御可能な装置が前記ローカル・ネットワークと関連付けられるのを防ぎ、前記制御部は、照明器具を順次起動し、所定時間内にユーザー入力が受信されない場合に起動された照明器具が前記ローカル・ネットワークに参加するのを防ぐ、ネットワーク・システム。 - 前記複数の制御可能な装置を制御する制御装置を更に有し、前記制御部は、自身の少なくとも1つ及び前記複数の制御装置のうちの、前記ローカル・ネットワークに含まれている少なくとも1つの制御装置を自動的に再設定し、前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を制御する、請求項1記載のネットワーク・システム。
- 前記制御部及び前記少なくとも1つの制御装置は、前記ローカル・ネットワークに参加することが許可された前記複数の制御装置の数及び種類に基づき再設定される、請求項2記載のネットワーク・システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記ローカル・ネットワークに参加することが許可された前記複数の制御装置の数及び種類に基づき再設定される、請求項2記載のネットワーク・システム。
- 前記ネットワーク・システムは、前記ローカル・ネットワークに参加することが許可されたスイッチ及び動きセンサーを更に有し、前記制御部は、前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を手動でオンに切り替えるよう前記スイッチを設定する、請求項1記載のネットワーク・システム。
- 前記ネットワーク・システムは、前記ローカル・ネットワークに参加することが許可された動きセンサーを更に有し、前記制御部は、前記ローカル・エリア内の動きの存在及び不存在に基づき、前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を自動的にオン及びオフに切り替えるよう前記動きセンサーを設定する、請求項1記載のネットワーク・システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記制御部と前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置との間で通信される少なくとも1つのRF信号、IR信号、及び音波信号により前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を識別する、請求項1記載のネットワーク・システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記制御部と前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置との間で通信される少なくとも1つのIR信号及び音波信号により前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を識別する、請求項1記載のネットワーク・システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記制御部と前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置との間で通信されるRF信号により、少なくとも1つの前記RF信号の少なくとも1つの飛行時間及び受信信号強度を用いて、前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を識別する、請求項1記載のネットワーク・システム。
- 限定的ネットワークを形成する方法であって:
複数の制御可能な装置と通信する段階;
前記複数の制御可能な装置のうち、ローカル・エリア内に位置付けられた少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を検出する段階;及び
前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を前記ローカル・エリアと関連付けられたローカル・ネットワークに含め、前記複数の制御可能な装置のうちの残りの制御可能な装置が前記ローカル・ネットワークと関連付けられるのを防ぎ、照明器具を順次起動し、所定時間内にユーザー入力が受信されない場合に起動された照明器具が前記ローカル・ネットワークに参加するのを防ぐ段階、を有する、方法。 - 前記複数の制御可能な装置を制御する複数の制御装置と通信する段階;
前記ローカル・ネットワークに含まれている前記複数の制御装置のうちの少なくとも1つの制御装置を決定する段階;及び
前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を制御するよう、前記少なくとも1つの制御装置を再設定する段階、を更に有する請求項10記載の方法。 - 前記再設定する段階は、前記ローカル・ネットワークに参加することが許可された前記複数の制御装置の数及び種類に基づき、前記少なくとも1つの制御装置を再設定する、請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記決定する段階は、少なくとも1つのRF信号、IR信号、及び音波信号により、前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を検出する、請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記決定する段階は、前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置により送信された少なくとも1つの信号の少なくとも1つの飛行時間及び受信信号強度により、前記少なくとも1つの制御可能な装置を検出する、請求項11記載の方法。
