Claims (2)
- 燃焼室内に燃焼室と同径上に設けられる複数の点火部と、
前記複数の点火部のうち両側に隣り合う点火部のどちらかひとつに偏倚して設けられ、
着火された混合気の火炎が伝播してくる位置であって、前記点火部と同径上の前記燃焼室内に形成された開口と、
前記開口の反対端を閉塞する底と、
を含む筒穴部と、を備え、
前記点火部は、内径が前記燃焼室と同径であって燃焼室壁面に沿って環状に形成される絶縁性の環状ボディを含む環状点火プラグの点火部分であって、その環状ボディの内周面に臨んで設けられ、
前記筒穴部は、前記開口の直径を1mm以上3mm以下とし、その直径に対する深さの比が6よりも大であって、筒穴部の軸線が前記点火部から伝播する火炎の進行方向と交叉する、
ことを特徴とするエンジンの燃焼室構造。 - 前記筒穴部は、前記開口から噴出するガスが前記環状ボディの中心に向かって噴出するように配置される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの燃焼室構造。
