Description
1) キューブ1は、所定の開始位置(この開始位置からユーザは最終状態を達成しなければならない)に設定され得る。この所定の開始状態は、一定である必要は無く、難易度(すなわち、レベル1は解に到達する前にキューブ1の1回のターンしか必要としない開始位置であるのに対し、レベル2は2回のターンを必要とする、等々)を規定するように選ばれ得る。ユーザがパズルを解けない場合、パズルは元の設定にリセットされ得る。
2) キューブ1の難易度は、幾つかのセグメントが自動的に自身を調節できるようにすることにより調節され得る、すなわち、ユーザには特定の数の側面を一様な色に配列することしか要求せず、その他の側面は1つの色になるように自動的に調節する。代替的に、6色に代えて、3色だけがパズルで用いられ得る。これは、解の数を増やし、ゆえに、難易度を低くする。
3) キューブ1は、最終目標を達成するためのヒントを与えるよう求められ得る。例えば、ユーザが行き詰ると、次に動かされるべき側面が、次善の動きを示すために点滅(flash)され得る。ヒントの要求は、例えば、この目的のために特別に構成されるセグメントの有色側面を押下することにより達成され得る。
4) キューブ1は、ユーザに不利に働くように構成され得る。例えば、ユーザが一定の時間枠内に最終状態に到達せざるを得ないようにタイムリミットが導入され得る。
5) キューブ1がパズルモードで用いられない場合、キューブ1は、12Vアダプタを介して主電源に接続され、任意の色のアンビエント光源(ambient light source)として機能することができる。固定された色に代えて、光及び色のランダムなパターンが作り出されても良い。
Claims (12)
- 各セグメントがハウジング、及び該ハウジング内に配設される光モジュールであって、制御信号を受信し、該制御信号に依存する色の光を発するように構成される光モジュールを有する、複数のセグメントが配列さる少なくとも一つの面と、
前記光モジュールを制御するように構成されるプロセッサと
を有し、前記セグメントは、パズルを解くような特定の順序で再配列され得るゲーム装置。 - 当該ゲーム装置は3Dパズルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。
- 当該ゲーム装置は、26個の別個のセグメント及びこれらセグメントを纏めるように構成される中心機構を有するルービックキューブ(登録商標)であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記光モジュールは、異なる色の光を放射するように構成される少なくとも2つの発光ダイオードを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記複数のセグメントの各々はバッテリを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記バッテリは充電式バッテリであることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記複数のセグメントの各々は、他のセグメントに信号を送信する、及び他のセグメントから信号を受信するように構成されるトランシーバを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記トランシーバは、容量性カプラを有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のゲーム装置。
- 各セグメントは、当該セグメント内の少なくとも1つの光モジュールを制御するように構成されるプロセッサを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、ゲームルールを格納するように構成されるメモリを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、当該ゲーム装置のリセット、ヒントの要求、別のゲームを始めるトリガ、及び当該ゲーム装置をオフにするコマンドのうちの少なくとも1つを示す入力信号を受信するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記プロセッサは、外部プログラミングツールによってユーザによりプログラムされるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。
