Description
a)少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和の酸基含有モノマー、この場合、このモノマーは少なくとも部分的に中和されていてもよく、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、
c)場合によっては1種又はそれ以上のa)で挙げられたモノマーと共重合可能なエチレン性及び/又はアリル性不飽和モノマー及び
d)場合によっては1種又はそれ以上の水溶性ポリマー
を含有するモノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液の重合によって、吸水性ポリマー粒子を製造する方法によって解決され、この場合、この方法は、該液体を生成物床表面下に噴霧することを特徴とする。
測定は、別に記載がない限り、23±2℃の周囲温度及び50±10%の相対空気湿度で実施される。吸水性ポリマー粒子を測定前に十分に混合する。
吸水性ポリマーの粒度分布は、EDANAで推奨された試験方法番号WSP 220.2-05 "Particle size distribution"により測定する。
遠心保持容量は、EDANA(European Disposables and Nonwovens Association)で推奨された試験方法番号WSP 241.2-05"Centrifuge retention capacity"と同様に測定し、その際、吸水性ポリマー粒子は、測定の前に、300μmを上回り600μmまでの粒度範囲に篩別する。
吸水性ポリマー粒子の6.21kPa(0.9psi)下での吸収量は、EDANAで推奨された試験方法番号WSP 242.2-05 "Absorption under pressure"と同様に測定し、その際、300μmを上回り600μmまでの粒度分布を有する吸水性ポリマー粒子は0.9gの代わりに0.16g、ベースプレートとしてメッシュ幅36μmの代わりに149μmを有する金網及び21g/cm2(0.3psi)の代わりに63g/cm2(0.9psi)の重りを使用した。
吸水性ポリマー粒子の抽出可能な成分の量は、EDANAで推奨された試験方法番号WSP 270.2-05 "Extractables"により測定する。
21g/cm2(0.3psi)の圧力負荷下での膨潤されたゲル層の液体通過性は、EP0640330A1に記載のようにして吸収性ポリマー粒子からなる膨潤したゲル層のゲル−相−浸透性として測定し、この場合、上記の特許出願明細書第19頁及び図8に記載の装置は、ガラスフリット(40)がもはや使用されず、プランジャー(39)が円筒体(37)と同様のプラスチック材料からなり、今や全載置面にわたって均一に分布するように21個の同じ大きさの孔を含むように十分に変更した。測定の方法及び評価はEP0640330A1と変わらない。流量は自動的に把握される。
例は、ナトリウムアクリレートベースの市販の吸水性ナトリウム粒子を用いて実施する。
吸水性ポリマー粒子は、Ruberg−フローミキサーDLM 350-1500型(Gebrueder Ruberg GmbH & Co KG, Nieheim, DE)中で、二液ノズルRZD1-H型(Gebrueder Ruberg GmbH & Co KG, Nieheim, DE)を用いて、50質量%のLupamin(R)9095 (BASF Aktiengesellschaft, Ludwigshafen, DE)水溶液で被覆した。Lupamin(R)9095は高分子量の線状ポリビニルアミンである。
例1と同様に実施したが、スプレーガスの初期圧は2.4barであった。スプレーガスの流量は21kg/hである。
例1と同様に実施したが、二液ノズルは0/60型(Duesen-Schlick GmbH, Untersiemau, DE)を使用した。
例1と同様に実施したが、二液ノズルはCSL 2.8型(Caldyn Apparatebau GmbH, Ettlingen, DE)を使用した。
例1と同様におこなったが、二液ノズルはSU4型(Spraying Systems Deutschland GmbH, Hamburg, DE) を使用した。二液ノズルは垂直に挿入され、かつノズル口は生成物床表面上150mmにある。
Claims (23)
- 乾燥、粉砕及び分級を含み、その際、可動式混合装置を備えたミキサー中で少なくとも1個のスプレーノズルを用いて、液体を吸水性ポリマー粒子上に噴霧するものであって、a)少なくとも1種のエチレン性不飽和の酸基含有モノマー、この場合、このモノマーは少なくとも部分的に中和されてもよく、
b)少なくとも1種の架橋剤、
c)場合によっては1種又はそれ以上のa)で挙げられたモノマーと共重合可能なエチレン性及び/又はアリル性不飽和モノマー及び
d)場合によっては1種又はそれ以上の水溶性ポリマー、
を含有するモノマー溶液又はモノマー懸濁液を重合することによる、吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法において、液体を生成物表面下に噴霧することを特徴とする、前記方法。 - 少なくとも一つの後架橋を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 液体を後架橋されたポリマー粒子上に噴霧する、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 液体を、生成物床表面下少なくとも10mmに噴霧する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 連続式ミキサーを使用する、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ミキサーの充填度合いが30〜80%である、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ミキサーに供給された吸水性ポリマー粒子が、20質量%未満の含水率を示す、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ミキサーに供給された吸水性ポリマー粒子が、40〜80℃の温度を示す、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 液体を、二液ノズルにより噴霧する、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- ミキサーが横型ミキサーである、請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 横型ミキサー中での吸水性ポリマー粒子の滞留時間が、1〜180分である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 横型ミキサー中の可動式混合装置の周速が、0.1〜10m/sである、請求項10又は11に記載の方法。
- 横型ミキサー中で吸水性ポリマー粒子が、フルード数0.01〜6に相当する速度で移動する、請求項10から12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1個のスプレーノズルを断熱及び/又は随伴加熱する、請求項1から13までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- スプレーノズルの温度が、吸水性ポリマー粒子の温度よりも1〜20℃高い、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 断熱されたスプレーノズルを使用し、かつ噴霧すべき液体の温度が、吸水性ポリマー粒子の温度よりも1〜20℃高い、請求項14又は15に記載の方法。
- 随伴加熱され、かつ場合により断熱されたスプレーノズルを使用し、かつ吸水性ポリマー粒子と噴霧される液体との間の温度差が20℃未満である、請求項14から16までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 液体を、二液ノズルを用いて噴霧し、かつ噴霧される液体とスプレーガスとの間の温度差が20℃未満である、請求項14から17までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 液体が水性溶液又は分散液である、請求項1から18までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 液体が、少なくとも1種のポリアミンを含有する、請求項1から19までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 液体が、少なくとも1種のポリオールを含有する、請求項1から20までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 液体が、少なくとも1種の多価金属カチオンを含有する、請求項1から21までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子が、少なくとも15g/gの遠心保持容量を有する、請求項1から22までのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
