Claims (24)
- 画素電極と前記画素電極に連結されているスイッチング素子とを各々含み、行列に配列されている複数の画素と、
前記スイッチング素子に連結されており、互いに分離されている複数対の第1及び第2ゲート線と、
前記スイッチング素子に連結されており、前記第1及び第2ゲート線と交差する複数のデータ線と、
を含み、
前記複数のデータ線は、二つのデータ線ずつ対を成してその一側端部が繋がっていて、
前記複数の画素は、各々異なる3種類の色を示す第1乃至第3画素を含み、
前記第1画素に連結されているデータ線と前記第2画素に連結されているデータ線とは互いに繋がっており、
前記第3画素に連結されている二つの隣接データ線が互いに繋がっている、液晶表示装置。 - 前記画素電極は、傾斜方向が互いに異なる少なくとも二つの平行四辺形電極片を含む、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極は、一つの右傾斜平行四辺形電極片と一つの左傾斜平行四辺形電極片とを含む、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極は、二つの右傾斜平行四辺形電極片と二つの左傾斜平行四辺形電極片とを含む、請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記右傾斜平行四辺形電極片と前記左傾斜平行四辺形電極片は上下に交互に配列されている、請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1及び第2ゲート線は、各々前記右傾斜平行四辺形電極片と前記平行四辺形電極片とが上下に接する境界を横切って延びている、請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1及び第2画素の画素電極は、各々三つの右傾斜平行四辺形電極片と三つの左傾斜平行四辺形電極片とを含み、
前記第3色画素の画素電極は、二つの右傾斜平行四辺形電極片と二つの左傾斜平行四辺形電極片とを含む、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1及び第2画素の画素電極の前記三つの右傾斜平行四辺形電極片と前記三つの左傾斜平行四辺形電極片は、各々上下に連結されて第1乃至第3単位電極を成し、
前記第1及び第2単位電極は行方向に連結されており、
前記第1及び第3単位電極は列方向に連結されており、
前記第3画素の画素電極の右傾斜平行四辺形電極片と前記左傾斜平行四辺形電極片は、上下に交互に連結されている、請求項7に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1乃至第3画素の画素電極の広さは実質的に同一である、請求項7に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第3画素の画素電極の幅は前記第1及び第2画素の画素電極の幅より広く、
前記第3画素の画素電極の幅は、前記第1及び第2画素の画素電極の幅の1.4乃至1.6倍である、請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1及び第2画素の画素電極は互いに左右反転対称された形状を成している、請求項10に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1画素は第1ゲート線に連結されており、
前記第2画素は第2ゲート線に連結されており、
前記第3画素は、互いに異なる列で前記第1又は第2ゲート線に交互に連結されている、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第3画素は、互いに異なる列で充電が交互に行われる、請求項12に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極は、前記ゲート線及び前記データ線と平行な四つの辺を含む、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記データ線は前記画素電極と一部重なる、請求項14に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極は前段第1及び第2ゲート線を覆う、請求項14に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記データ線は、前記隣接する二つの画素電極と各々重なる第1部分及び第2部分を含む、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記データ線の前記第1部分の面積と前記第2部分の面積は同一である、請求項17に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記データ線の前記第1部分の幅と前記第2部分の幅は互いに異なる、請求項17に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1部分の長さは前記第2部分の長さより長く、前記第1部分の幅は前記第2部分の幅より狭い、請求項17に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1部分は、前記二つの画素電極のうちの一つと離れて重なる第3部分及び第4部分を含む、請求項17に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記データ線の前記第3及び前記第4部分は直線上にあり、前記第2部分は前記第3及び第4部分で折り曲げられている、請求項21に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記データ線は、隣接するデータ線同士で互いに繋がっている、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1及び第2ゲート線が前記第3画素と重なる各々の面積が同一である、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
