Claims (2)
- 基板上に互いに交差して画素領域を画定するように配列されるゲート配線及びデータ配線と、
前記各画素領域に形成されるフラット状の第1透明電極と、
前記第1透明電極上に複数のストライプ状に配列される第2透明電極と、
前記第2透明電極の終端を接続する接続部とが備えられ、
前記接続部は、隣接する複数の画素で構成されるユニット単位で前記第2透明電極の終端を接続するように構成され、
前記第1透明電極は画素電極であり、前記第2透明電極は共通電極であり、
前記第2透明電極は、前記ユニット単位に含まれる上下に隣接した画素に対して垂直のストライプ状に配列され、
前記接続部は、前記ユニット単位の最上端と最下端とに備えられ、前記第2透明電極の終端を互いに接続するように形成され、
前記ユニット単位の複数の各画素は、上下に隣接する3つのラインの赤色(R)、緑色(G)、青色(B)の画素で構成されることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記第2透明電極は、前記ユニット単位内に位置するデータ配線に対して前記データ配線と完全に重なるように配列されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
