Description
本発明は、水蒸気分解炉でフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物から低級オレフィンを製造する方法に向けたものである。
水蒸気分解器供給原料として、フィッシャー・トロプシュ法で得られるようなナフサパラフィン生成物を使用することは周知である。例えば“The Markets for Shell Middle Distillate Synthesis Products”,Presentation of Peter J.A.,Tijm,Shell International Gas Ltd.,Alternative Energy ’95,バンクーバー,カナダ,May 2−4,1995、第5頁には、SMDSナフサ、即ち、シェルMDS法のフィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導ナフサフラクションは、例えばシンガポールでは水蒸気分解器供給原料として使用されていると述べている。
(a)フィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物の一部を希釈ガス流の存在下、ガス及び液体フラクション中に蒸発させ、更に残りのガス/油混合物から液体フラクションを分離する工程、
(b)ガス/油混合物を高温に加熱する工程、及び
(c)加熱したガス/油混合物に熱転化工程を行って、低級オレフィンを得る工程、
を行うことを特徴とするフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物からの低級オレフィンの製造方法。
本発明方法は、工程(a)で供給原料としてフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物を使用する。フィッシャー・トロプシュ合成生成物は、100%フィッシャー・トロプシュ誘導原料としてそれ自体で存在してもよいし、或いは熱分解炉に使用可能な他の好適な供給原料との混合物で存在してもよい。工程(a)で使用される好ましい追加の供給原料は、下記特性を有する軽質原油供給原料である。この供給原料の各沸点範囲の特徴は、 ASTM D−2887に従って測定して、供給原料の85重量%以下、好ましくは65重量%以下が350℃で気化し、供給原料の90重量%以下、好ましくは75重量%以下が400℃で気化する。通常の好ましい原油供給原料は、API比重が45未満である。前記特性範囲内の供給原料は、ここで説明する操作条件下で熱分解炉の対流部管内でコークス形成を最小化する。

通常、パラフィン系炭化水素のフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成用触媒は、触媒活性成分として、周期表第VIII族金属、特にルテニウム、鉄、コバルト又はニッケルを含む。
(aa)炭素質供給原料、好ましくはメタンから一酸化炭素及び水素を製造する工程、
(bb)工程(aa)で得られたガス状混合物を用いてフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成工程を行ってフィッシャー・トロプシュ生成物を得る工程、
(cc)未転化の一酸化炭素及び水素、或いは二酸化炭素又はそれらガスの混合物を含む、工程(a)における希釈ガスを用いて、フィッシャー・トロプシュ生成物に熱分解工程を行う工程、
(dd)工程(cc)で得られた分解ガスからメタンと一酸化炭素と水素との混合物を単離する工程、
(ee)メタンと一酸化炭素と水素との混合物を工程(aa)に再循環する工程、
を行ってメタンからエチレン及び/又はプロピレンを製造する方法にも向けたものである。工程(cc)は、前述の本発明方法に従って行うことが好ましい。このような好ましい実施態様では、工程(a)で得られた液体フラクションに対し水素化転化/水素化異性化工程を行って、全体として又は部分的に工程(a)において追加の原料として使用できる流出流を得ることが好ましい。
希釈ガスの温度は、流れをガス状態に維持するのに十分な最低温度である。希釈ガスについては、水の凝縮を確実に阻止できるように、注入箇所で測定した原油供給原料の温度よりも低い温度で添加するのが好ましい。この水は、希釈ガス自体であってもよいし、或いは前述の希釈ガスの幾つかに汚染物として存在してもよい。この温度は、更に好ましくは、注入箇所での供給原料の温度よりも25℃以上低い。希釈ガス/供給原料接点での希釈ガスの温度は、通常、140〜260℃、更に好ましくは150〜200℃の範囲である。
その10重量%は620℃を超える沸点を有するフィッシャー・トロプシュ蝋を水蒸気と接触させ、480℃の温度に加熱した。水蒸気/炭化水素混合物が得られた。この炭化水素は第1表に示す特性を有する。
第2表に示す特性を有するナフサを用いて実施例1を繰返した。
Claims (7)
- (aa)メタンから一酸化炭素と水素との混合物を製造する工程、
(bb)工程(aa)で得られたガス状混合物を用いてフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成工程を行って、50重量%回収点(ASTM D2887で測定)が250℃を超えるフィッシャー・トロプシュ生成物を得る工程、
(cc)フィッシャー・トロプシュ生成物の一部を工程(bb)の未転化一酸化炭素及び未転化水素と二酸化炭素とを含む希釈ガスの存在下でガス/ガス混合物中のガスフラクション及び液体フラクション中に蒸発させ、残りのガス/ガス混合物から前記液体フラクションを分離する工程(a)を行い、更に前記ガスフラクションを730〜815℃の高温に加熱する工程(b)を行い、次いで、該加熱したガス/ガス混合物を750〜860℃の温度で熱分解する工程(c)を行って、エチレン及び/又はプロピレンを得る工程、
(dd)工程(cc)で得られた分解ガスからメタンと一酸化炭素と水素との混合物を単離する工程、
(ee)前記メタンと一酸化炭素と水素との混合物を工程(aa)に再循環する工程、
を行うことを特徴とするメタンからのエチレン及び/又はプロピレンの製造方法。 - 二酸化炭素が、CO2吸収器中で分解ガスから分離され、更に、希釈ガスとして使用するため工程(a)に再循環される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 工程(cc)において、フィッシャー・トロプシュ生成物の85重量%が350℃で気化する請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)の供給原料が、脱塩原油又はガス田凝縮物の常圧塔底残留物も含む請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)における液体フィッシャー・トロプシュ生成物の蒸発が、熱分解炉の第一段予熱器中で行われ、工程(b)が熱分解炉の第二段予熱器中で行われ、かつ工程(c)が熱分解炉の放射部中で行われる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(a)に再循環される流出流を得るため、工程(a)で得られた液体フラクションに対し、水素化転化/水素化異性化工程を行う請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- フィッシャー・トロプシュ生成物の50重量%回収点が290℃を超える請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
