Description
“SWOP”を数値的に規定する特定のICCプロファイルにより更に規定されるCMYKオブジェクトであることが可能である。代替として、複雑なファイルは、例えば、PostScriptページ記述言語において用いられるような非ICCフォーマット色定義又は一意のICCプロファイルを各々有する、例えば、RGB、L*a*b*及びCMYK等の異なる色“空間”を有するオブジェクトを有する。

Claims (2)
- ページ記述ファイルの平坦化バージョンを生成するように平坦化の度合いで前記ページ記述ファイルを平坦化する段階であって、該平坦化は、前記ページ記述ファイルにおける表色に関連する複雑なコマンド又はオブジェクトをより複雑度が低いコマンド又はオブジェクトに変換する、段階;
前記ページ記述ファイルの前記平坦化バージョンにより特定された色値を補正する段階;
色補正された前記ページ記述ファイルの前記平坦化バージョンを、第1ビットマップを生成するように、ラスタ画像処理する段階;
前記ページ記述ファイルの非平坦化バージョンを、第2ビットマップを生成するように、ラスタ画像処理する段階;
ラスタ入力処理された前記ページ記述ファイルの非平坦化バージョンから生成された前記第2ビットマップにより特定された色値を補正する段階;及び
前記第1ビットマップと前記第2ビットマップとの間の色誤差を決定する段階;
を有する方法であって、
前記平坦化する段階は、明示的色定義のみを用いるオブジェクトに、明示的色定義により暗示的に色定義された少なくとも一部のオブジェクトの部分を有する前記ページ記述ファイルにおける少なくとも一部のオブジェクトを変換する段階を有し;
前記色誤差に基づいて平坦化の度合いを調整する;
方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法であって、前記色誤差は、前記第1ビットマップ及び第2ビットマップにおける画素についての色値間の平均差分及び最大差分を有する、ことを特徴とする方法。
